I love that you end with, "Ladies and gentlemen," it shows that you recognize EVERYONE who finds the art of makeup fascinating without stereotyping women as the only ones who do :)
And by the way (awkward transition), who do you like the hourglass calligraphy pen?
@dorizzztown Yes, I do my best to include everyone :) And I like it because the pigment is great. The ink wears well! I just wish it were more a little cheaper. Then I'd love it!
Hi Rae! I have a question: I've noticed that you stopped using the Shiseido eyebrow pencil and have switched to the Shu Uemura one! What's the difference between the two and why is the Shu one better? Thanks so much! I love your videos!
@forevermc8 The Shu Uemura hard formula only works where there is actually hair so it provides a softer brow look. The Shiseido is a normal, full-pigment pencil and can give my brows an ultra-black look if I wanted to build it up. It's also more waxy! I just wanted to change it up. I don't prefer one over the other :)
Hi Rae, this looks really suits you! I think I will try it as well. Quick question, I have under eye circles that are slightly red/purple at times, what corrector or concealer would you recommend? Thank You!!
Ok Rae so I'm really interested in trying the Dr.Brandt skincare line but I'm curious as to what you think of the brand. I'd greatly appreciated it if you'd do a review of some of his products. Thanks Sweetheart muuaaahhhh
Can you make a video on make up basics and must-haves for people that would like to start off with eyeshadows and what not? I only use eyeliner and I want to move into eyeshadow but I don't know where to start with brushes, types of brushes, colors of shadow, and so on.
Hi Rae, I have a quick question: for your everyday make-up routine, do you wear foundation/powder everyday or do you switch off with wearing concealer/powder everyday and foundation only on special occasions? thank you!
@RelenaChung15 I actually don't wear make-up every day but if I do, I wear Chantecaille's tinted moisturizer with a dusting of D&G's powder foundation to set it. I only recently started using concealer regularly because I started using a treatment concealer but even then, I only use it if I'm wearing a base - never alone :)
Great gift ideas It's spring-almost-summer over here but still I liked all items.
Thanks for doing this giveaway! Just in time for Christmas = ) Even though is not winter here I could really make use of giveaway 3 in the next one ; P
What do you use to remove your eye makeup? I find that I don't get too creative with eye looks because I absolutely hate the eye makeup removal process. I'm at the point that curled lashes are all I want to do, despite the tons of liners and shadows at my disposal. Thanks!
every time i watch your videos i keep thinking that black hair suits you SOOOOO well hahaha. are you losing weight?! your face is super slim. you're too pretty :P
since I changed from drugstore products to designer ones, you are my favourite make-up guru :) Your looks are awesome and are a great inspiration to me.
What I like about your videos is that you don't just say "ladies", you include the guys also ! Women are not the only ones that wear make up, I thank you for that ! Love this tutorial ! I actually want to buy the Naked pallet. I need new eye shadows ! :D
Hey Rae, I realise this is a summer look but could you please do a nude 'glossy' eye look that sometimes gets featured in summer editions of magazines? I have no idea what product could be used to create that glossy look but that is safe to use on eyes.
my eye lids are hooded, but it doesnt show a lot of the hood space... so it appears like monoeyelids at first sight....what would you recommend to do instead? and do you happen to know any gurus that have similar eyes to me? :S
You are by far my favorite of all make up gurus!! You are so professional yet personable. Ps: I have and love that Laura mercier lipgloss, good choice!!

rae! you look gorgeous as usual! stunning look! and i love how you get through your tutorial so effortlessly with such class <3 i would love you meet you someday! :)
Great job, as usual...pretty eye look. Very retro. Reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor or Audrey Hepburn. Off topic - do you have a vid for highlighters? If not, what are some favorites? (liquid, powder, etc., doesn't matter) I'm looking for one without sparkles. Just a nice realistic, shimmer/glow. TIA
rae! you look gorgeous as usual! stunning look! and i love how you get through your tutorial so effortlessly with such class <3 i would love you meet you someday! :)
Omg you are the only person who makes the cut crease easy to do. I will def try this now. And you're right, the gradient look looks better than the sharp line.
@alsrudtj124 It could still work if you use very little eyeliner! The more you practice and tinker with the look, the more you'll see that it's definitely possible :)
Do you own any armani blushes? How do they compare to the D&G? I am absolutely OBSESSED with the GA powder blushes (My favorite is number 5 which the sublime agent recommended) and it KILLS ME that i forgot about the armani friends and family sale cause i wanted more... but i'll deff be checking out the D&G next time in in a saks :)
@JJar18 I own a few and they're very finely milled. It just depends on what colors you're looking for! I personally prefer the color range of the D&G blushes :)
I really enjoyed this one. Rae, do you like the Hourglass caligraphy pen? Also, I took your advice and purchased the Chanel Perfection Lumiere in Beige 40 and it was a perfect match! I love it thanks!!!
ooh I love this. this may be my fav tutorial from you :) Except that I don't have the naked palette.. I'm on project 10 pan! But I'm gonna find dupes in my collection and work this look out!
Wow, Rae! You should do a cut crease more often. It looks really lovely on you :) Also do you have any high hopes for Naked 2? Is Naked 2 supposed to be a cooler toned palette or...? I'm loving the metal packaging of 2 though! The only thing that stopped me from buying the original Naked palette was the fact that the packaging got so dirty so quickly! xx
I love your contats they suit you so well the color like perfectly... :D I've grey eyes too but, mine have blue/yellow specks makes them mixed tech. but menh n they vary how they appear gray/green/blue rarely does the yellow dominate.
i just thought of an idea watching this video. if you use those stickers to make double eyelids and apply makeup like your tutorial, it will be easier and make dramatic cut crease effect .
Great video! I really loved it. I have a bridal shower to go to tomorrow and I'm going to try it out. Can you please recommend any dupes for vanilla nuts
Personally, I like the way you speak. It makes it a lot easier for a hard of hearing person such as myself to be able to understand you. That person has not heard of a monotone voice before if she thinks you sound monotone.

sweet rae, do you recommend the DG tan blush for a NC15-20? I love the tutorial but I have very limited space between my crease and my eyebrow. Any suggestions so as to how to wear this look? You look great!
How do you get the whites of your eyeballs to be so "white" while wearing contacts? I get bloodshot eyes sometimes and would love to hear what eye contact solutions you use. Thanks, Rae! =)
what a great look--i like that you chose to go with neutrals. i've never heard of a cut crease, but do you think this would work on a monolid eyeshape? i have no folds in my eyelids what so ever. thanks for a lovely tutorial as always
Thanks Rae, I will try it out. Like always, you are so helpful and nice.

what a great look--i like that you chose to go with neutrals. i've never heard of a cut crease, but do you think this would work on a monolid eyeshape? i have no folds in my eyelids what so ever. thanks for a lovely tutorial as always
