  • WHAT A PAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hot song!

  • This actually sounds like it couild have been done by the Shangri Las. (Intended as a compliment - I'm a fan of Blondie and the Shangri Las!)

  • harry can sing anything / she tops any female artist / loved her since the 70"s / always will

  • maybe we were born to rrrrrruuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn.........

  • es increible, pero la mayoría de los que miramos estos videos estamos perdidamente enamorados de ese ángel que es Debbie

  • The lyrics of X Offender are really funny. Great song!

  • Debbie looks great in any color!

  • This is the blueprint for all Blondie songs! For that I shall always love it!

  • Better track than "In The Flesh". Can't understand why this wasn't the HIT that made them famous?

  • Can you believe the crap that topped the charts in 1976 while this was ignored? Un-be-lee-vable.

  • Nice set ..

  • Hey yawl ! Seen her in a film called Union City ? We have a lot of milk in NZ and I reckon drinking it leads to despair here too .

  • Saw Blondie at the Lakeland civic Center in Lakeland Fla. 1982. I was front row and I swear she look right at me :-) something I'll never forget! She looked tired. She and the band gave a hell of a good show. I still love her Music.

  • She is awesome!! I still dream of 48 hours in bed with Blondie with about ten thousand MG's of Chinese Viagra coursing through my veins!! Sorry, so gross, but that's how I feel!! Blondie!!

  • @warfield1212 Opiate boners are the way to go, and all that extra energy!

  • @warfield1212 oh yes.lol

  • this is '76!

  • my kind of girl

  • kiss my ass. this is not 76

  • @todobomtodobem It was the first single from their debut album, and was released in June 1976.

  • @todobomtodobem my lips are not that big, this is 76 and i had the single (45rpm)

  • GREAT!!!!! simply in a punk vein... 59vacant

  • I wouldn't mind if a girl like Debbie was sex offensive to me at all :)

  • cool fotos

  • i love you Debbie,forever

  • nice

  • Great song!!!

  • I never got how the mainstream media like Rolling Stone magazine and the New York Times considered music as light and fun as this to be punk rock. WTF were they smoking?

  • @ebonics4everyone Some of their music is very 'punk' but who really cares about labels. I love Nirvana but never got into 'grunge'.

  • :))))))))))))))))

  • I think Gwen Stefanie emulated this look.

  • The blueprint for all Blondie songs!

  • :):)

  • WHAT VIDEO??? The sound is great but WHAT VIDEO?? Trying to locate the REAL VIDEO of when Debbie first did this on Don Kirshners' Rock Concert in '76 or '77 when Debbie was on stage and did this in a freaking YELLOW POKA-DOT BIKINNI!!! That very first time she was on tv I knew she was gonna be BIG!!! They took off that performance and they suck rubber balls for doing that!!!!!

  • @tjrxk7 Never saw an (itsy bits teeny weeny) yellow polka dot bikini version of this vid! To my knowledge, the video of Blondie lip synching "X Offender' on Rock Concert was the Bob Gruen-directed clip where Debbie wears the pink "Rhythm Kings" jacket over a black T shirt with pink jeans, her hair in a ponytail. Is there really another video that aired first?

  • @kookooboy Yea I know about that version but what I'm talking about was on Don Kirshners' Rock Concert. It was her very first performance on tv. It just blew me away and I went to Gimbles the next day to get the album. Now with all the videos on the internet with Blondie I have NEVER seen that version since. I'm thinking they kept it off purposely so as to not give her the 'slut appearance' but there was nothing 'slutty' about it. It fitted very well with the song she did i.e. "X-Offender".

  • @tjrxk7 As I understood it, the band was asked by Don Kirshner's Rock Concert TV show for a video they could show so the band hired photographer Bob Gruen and their record label, Private Stock paid him to direct and film three videos in one day, in a rented studio with a big orange backdrop and a billboard sized blow up of Debbie Harry's face that was made by Debbie's designer friend Steven Sprouse. To my knowledge, the show used the "X Offender" clip with Debs in the pink jacket.

  • take me back to my teenage years, debbie was my perfect woman

  • I have the recored of this it got banded in the uk..

  • great sound

  • yes, on the later albums Debbie was replaced by Nancy Reagan, it was a political conspiracy to prevent world domination by Blondie

  • @symphonythree Exactly! I hid this all my life, I was scared of the CIA and KGB, but I knew this already! In 1975/1976, the world was about to fall in Debbie Harry's arms, and we were all helpless. Thank you Mr Reagan, Nancy saved us from this awful fate and we had Celine Dion and Whitny Houston instead!

  • I wish Blondie had stuck with this sound (and image) longer than 1 album, before moving on. I think it's their best! Even better in ways than "Parallel Lines" because Debbie's vocals on the 1st album are so inspired, she really is "acting" out the songs as opposed to just singing them. She lost a bit of the vampy camp persona on those later, more perfect, recordings.

  • @kookooboy debbie was replaced, thats why.

  • @chalicexox

??? That's fucked... nobody can copy her:

I hope this is just some misplaced dry humor!

  • Awesome video! The sound is perfect. Thank you for posting this gem of a video!

  • @davidmadmaxx What video? I know this is a year late but I don't see any video. Did the music execs censor it?
