  • I understand (I think) on what you are doing here, however, I feel it is a bit overarching to call P2P programs such as Limewire as illegal; although (most) people did use it for wholesale piracy, there were ligit uses for it. I would like your opinion on what the Tech News Today team said about the court case that this video is linked to

    /watch?v=SKdTS-f0yfA&feature=player_detailpage#t=633s

    Thankyou.

  • Mike... ur awesome... but when are you continuing with your toy reviews? because i miss them :(

  • @Lilliannakitty Gov kind of on his ass right now. That's why he's not doing them right now. It's also why he started the LUAU.

  • Can you help me out?

Did Apple sue any kids or have anything to do with this internet revelation?

Did Nintendo sue any kids or have anything to do with this internet revelation?

  • I have to say that that hat fits you wery well. :) (honestly)

  • Mike... you are okay... i was worried

  • I applaud you for standing up against the big company. I don't want that bill to pass in Congress...and I agree with a lot of things LUAU stands for. Why should we get sued for something THEY did to RIGHTLY try to SUE us? Pardon my French but that's a LOAD of CROCK. Props to you Mike...and to the LUAU movement.

  • I love how ur so nice in these videos and so passionate in ur live streams. lol Ur awesome

  • WMG ARE BASTARDS!!!

  • Giving the donkey a carrot to jab it with a stick!

A Creative Commons License for this video proves what is being fought for.

  • My brain hurts now...Cnet bought AOL to distribute illegal software, and THEN Shelby Bonnie, the CEO of Cnet, joined the Board of Directors at WMG,THEN started suing people for copyright infringement BY using the software HE distributed. /brain explosion

  • @PokemonPlatinum1201 It wa a setup- they probably distributed the software so they could sue people using it

  • mmmwhat

  • I really hope this gets through to Mr. Blavatnik =D

  • good loop hole

  • Go Mike! Your awesome.

    Be careful though...

  • @SuperLolwut123 lol... multimillionare pussies

  • Hmmm...

  • Hey Mike ...whats going on of your finger ?? ... take care :)

  • very nice video mozy we support you 110%

  • This is so confusing, what are the odds that the bill wont/will be passed?

  • Real P2P software (i.e. where files are shared directly between users) aren't inherently illegal, mind you. The act of downloading or distributing illegal digital copies of copyrighted material is the crime in question, not using Morpheus, Grockster or Kazaa.

  • @xxhellspawnedxx They surely had a malicious intent in distributing these filesharing systems, as they knew that this would lead to lawsuits that would earn them millions of dollars, and that is questionable conduct, but as long as CNET/Warner music group didn't supply the actual illegal music files, they haven't done anything wrong in the eyes of the law.

  • @xxhellspawnedxx

If you've seen the screen-shots in this video, you can see that they actively compare downloads of real world copyrighted music, therefore advocating its use for downloading copyrighted material, which, if I am correct in interpreting Mike's other videos on the matter, is against US law.

  • @nintendopi Nah, it's not, not really. As said, it's questionable conduct, from a moral standpoint, but encouraging piracy or using it as a selling isn't really any more criminal than using sales numbers or reviews in commercials to encourage sales. This is what I know to be true at least. But I'm not really well-versed in all the quirks and terrible laws and legal practices of the US, so it might have passed me by without me noticing.

  • What makes you think the CEO of Warner Music Group is gonna watch this? Did you send it him via mail or something?

  • Mike

I really miss the funny stuff

  • glad to see you are still kicking

continue the good work Mike, may you, and everyone else on our side make a difference

  • To sum up the situation...WMG is evil.

  • I approve of this. I love you Mike. ^_^

  • so let me get this straight this cnet bought and used aol to promote the illegal stuff first then shelby bonnie the ceo of cnet joined the board of directors at wmg and started suing people for copyright hopefully i got that right my 16 year old brain can only process so much

  • @BONECRUSHER1022 Its Confusing even for me too. The Person getting this will understand the message.

  • @LUAUnited u got em mike,,,, just afraid a lot of people wont follow but still yet when the wolf is gaurdin the hen house you have to call it out lolol thumbz up mike

  • @LUAUnited Does this involve Bill S.967 or is this just about the people getting sued?

  • @BONECRUSHER1022 It really doesn't matter. When the company who funds the judges & politicians break the law, they have ways of evading or rewriting it to their advantage anyway.

  • mike you are an inspiration

  • wait wait... something happend to jeeper?? didnt he say something about posting vid ect if something happends to him???

  • @BigDaddyMacc He said he has a backup acc if this one gets banned and also he has a millionaire backing him.

  • If Mike is trying to look like Adam Savage from Mythbusters, he's succeeding and if not, he does anyway :P

  • Don't fuck with the internet!

  • A.E.U.G.
