@CustomXbox360s but black ops and modern warfare 2 are very short and basically have the same multiplayer. They still are good games, but they are very average. COD 4, the first modern warfare game, in my opinion, is superior to both. It wasnt rushed and was well made. Sure the campaign was short, but was fun while it lasted. The multiplayer is also very fun and if you ask me, a bit more balanced. WAW, MW2, and BO were just carbon copies after that.

In my humble opinion, I think Halo 3 is overrated, is not as good as the commercials and trailers make it look, is monotonous and stupid, I bought it two years ago and never finished, it bores me. No offense that's just my opinion.

The newer games have awful online play compared to the older shooter games, they keep trying to add all these 'cool' new features, and in doing so there are always those that just ruin the game for online play, not to mention most also tend to have more advantages towards being host now as well.
