The version I downloaded looks like crap can you tell me why? The game is all glitchy like. The character select screen displays only Soma and the game play is all glitchy.
if antyone knows how to code using game maker. we will like to have you help to remake this game in game maker and yes jorge is involved and will be laying tile like he did when the game was made in c++. we have a coder but we dont know if he will be commited to dfinishing the whole game. all we need is someone to do the level editor in order to get this game finished and playable to all being that not all people where able to play the c++ version for some reason.
@BaraBrandurHenriksen No I'm talking about the second one on the character select... it was kinda directed toward Choadaman to see if he knew what I was talking about.
0:05 The red belmont. It's from a Castlevania game that was never released.
@javiman Ha I completely forgot about this comment ^.^
But if you are thinking of Leon Belmont from Lament of Innocence, then you are sadly mistaken. He wasn't red, he had white hair, and there was never a 2D sprite for Leon.
This sprite was meant to be for a Castlevania game on the Sega 32X that never got released. The sprites assets for the game were later used in SOTN: hence why "Hanz Belmont" (the sprite) looks so similar to Richter's SOTN version sprite.
@BaraBrandurHenriksen Mb, didn't notice he also used that character. No, it isn't a edit. If you look up Castlevania's sprite history, that is a lost sprite. nfggames(dot)com/games/castlevaniasprites/
You're thinking of the Bloodletting game that I am making. Hanz is a name that the Castlevania Dungeon forums gave to the unnamed character but it is rumored he was originally named Markus.
The red guy is Hanz Belmont. He was to be in a game called The Bloodletting for the Sega 32X. But Konami scrapped it and took what they had and used it in Symphony of the Night. He is not a sprite version of Leon Belmont. You can read around on internet about the Bloodletting. and matter of fact I am using that sprite in my own version of Bloodletting, vids are under my profile.
This looks like a cool game. While your making the demo though, please be making a story for this. I had trouble understanding most of the NES games because they didn't show any story. I usually play better when it does show a story. You don't have to add voices. Just please make a story. ^_^
looks like the game is a bit too hard for its own creator...
Great job making the game though. Looks fantastic.

@OroCrimson ok, cool :-) now i know that! :D i am a big castlevania fan ;) thank u :)

Probably the most difficult level 1 of any castlevania game.
Still, this is incredibly impressive - you really made this yourself? It looks like a legit game.

Dude Markus is a way cooler name than either. It sounds more Castlevania-like than both also.
Your Bloodletting game is awesome, by the way. I played the hell out of the demo.
