If a man wishes to divorce his wife he can do without question, yet a woman must have permission from her husband. Under Sharia a woman's word is worth half that of a mans. This is not equal. - The item must have been stolen by means of stealth
- The item must have been in a location such that its theft must be difficult
- The crime must be proven by means of two impartial witnesses

@TheJoeB1Kanobe So as you can see, the punishment is virtually impossible to apply to theft in necessity (e.g. people stealing to feed themselves or their family etc etc) and only applies to serious cases of actual theft which would correspondingly earn real sanctions (i.e. prison) in the west also, even then the conditions make it a very rare occurance; Islams rigorous punishment is a more effective deterrent of such theft.

If this cultural center is supposed to help bridge the gap between the east and the west why is it being built in America? We Americans have been tolerant when we had absolutely no reason to be so and as you can plainly see that tolerance will only go so far before we start asking ourselves have we been too tolerant?
I’m sure that there are many countries that need a center for teaching tolerance more than America does.
