And the white-faced black-haired guy sort of below him is Lewis Carroll. Which is pretty cool because Carroll's writing ties in with the whole psychodelic nature of the album.

New uniforms, mustaches, new sound, lyrics on the back, one song going in to the next, etc. For 1967 and the "clean cut" Beatles...this album was "shocking" because it had never happened before. If you want "shocking"...have you seen the "Butcher Cover"...look it up.

First of all, Kansas City/Hey Hey Hey is not their song, It's a cover. putting that aside, You are talking only about the second half, which is Hey Hey Hey. Kansas City has some lyrics.

Why don't we do it in the road and Wild Honey Pie (not pig) are experimental songs, that they wanted to put in the album for the sake of humor and experiment.

Also, Don't judge all of their songs because you don't like 3 of them. They have songs with fantastic lyrics like Strawberry fields Forever and In My Life

Lack of lyrics was done on purpose you dope. It makes a song different and interesting by stripping it down and not following the norm of having to fill a song with three versus and a chorus.
