  • Yeah, definitely some Sabbath in there.

  • <genius

  • Wow.. WOW! Springsteen sounded like Sabbath back in the day!

Did you know Billy Joel sounded like Deep Purple on steroids with his band Attila before he went solo?

I wonder what other aging mainstream artist has a hard rock skeleton in closet??

    Elton John??

  • Bruce working that Les Paul, it's a little rough and experimental here but he was killer in concert even then. His guitar chops were amazing for that time and he definitely had a crunchy, powerful style all his own, no effects, just blasting through that Marshall amp. People still don't realize how good he is on guitar, he rarely hits a clunker and, especially with Steel Mill, his sound was spine-tingling.

  • Is there a 19 minute copy of this song? Heard on sirus with guest dj "mad dog vinni" this song the other night....Great old tune.....

  • This is the 19 minutes version, it's split in two parts

  • the chorus of "oh oh's" reminds me so much of Adam Raised a Cain. love it. love my bootlegs of Steel Mill.

  • Me too, they are amazing!

  • That must been great, where did you seen them??
