@dominicishmael: I agree. Everyone sounded GREAT! But as a saxophone player myself, I would say this recording was a little too fast. I could see Ben taking very fast breaths. It's supposed to be an upbeat tune that has attitude. You lose some of that if it flies like that. It looked like you enjoyed your performance. Sounds great!

I love the bari's sound -- just wish he were mic'ed up better. You can barely here him in a lot places. Kudos though on a very difficult chart.

I'm a Bari, Alto, player. And I can tell you first hand. This song .. well this recording, is taken at a very fast up tempo. The original isn't even this speedy. Kudos to the bari indeed. And the bone. And the trumpets... and EVERYONE!

Not bad kid but you HAVE to stop moving around so much when you play! Also bring that neckstrap up, you are going to destroy your back/neck with that shitty posture not to mention you'll have better airflow. Believe me, as a pro bari player i can tell you with confidence that you will be sorry in later years. But you got decent tone and technique, just focus your sound more, watch your time, calm down a bit and you'll be great! Keep it up

I hate when bands try to play this song so fast. It kills the song for me and makes it sound awful because everyone is playing sloppy in order to keep up with the tempo. The bari player in this sounds great but because the tempo is so fast he's playing very sloppy and not giving the notes their full value.
