Did you catch Summer on Chuck with Adam Baldwin? And the Firefly reference on Castle last night (11-15-2010)? Castle told Becket he learned Chinese from an old TV show he liked.

I think the only way to top this would be to have select Firefly cast cameos. Maybe Summer G. as a mental patient that accidently killed a man (possibly played by Adam B.) Just saying.

@nutherefurlong You got that right. The other funny thing is that Serenity (where Nathan Fillion donned the costume as Malcolm Reynolds) was filmed approximately five years before the airing of this episode (basically the meaning of the question "didn't you wear that, like, five years ago?").

@IYerfdog yeah, this was a pretty well-done reference all around. I wonder how people felt who never saw Firefly. May have struck them as pretty odd :)
