  • This is great enjoyed the video I'm wondering should I wait till my husband comes back of four weeks of training, or him being away would be just too easy lol? What you suggest Sunshine?

  • why would any christian woman want to put anyone under a spell? every woman should do this always, no matter if we see benfits or not..its because the bible tells us too..its a good thing to do yes, but not to see if we can get more out of our men..i don't like the spell thingy...sounds to worldly...

  • Hey Sunshine,

What a great challenge... Just recently I have started to keep a gratitute journal, where I would write down everything that I am grateful for, on a daily basis. As a recommendation, add this to your challenge. You wouldn't be disappointed. Love your channel girl;-).

  • I am going to do the challenge!!!! Better late than never.....

  • so good. you are subbed!! thank you for your honesty and Love.

  • I am going to go on this challenge starting tomorrow, although I have a boyfriend, were not married yet. We have been together 4 and a half years, and soon to be married after we graduate college. I've been feeling convicted of this, so I really am going to do this. Thanks so much!

  • @NaturallyCreole, my church did a Love and Respect conference. It was soooo good. It was five sessions and they were awesome. I definitely recommend the DVDs and can't wait to watch them again.

  • Great Vid! I'm about a week late on this challenge, but I'm in. : )

  • I'm starting right now! Wish I would have seen this when you posted. I have a wonderful husband and need to remember that! Great video!

  • I'm in on this challenge starting today.......Lord help me!!!!!

  • Thank you, I'm in starting TOMORROW 9/11/10. I told you I loved you girl. I see your light shining brightly.

  • I'm with ya!

  • Funny, I already started this about a week ago. My cousin and I have been talking about blessing our husbands. Funny.

  • That is a challenge. I'm pregnant and I've noticed that I have really been laying into my husband. Then, we have a 3 year old son and when he comes home from work I'm so wiped-out. I may try this today. September 11 we will be married 12 years and we could use a marriage revamping. It's me, I've become too settled in my ways and I do need to do some things differently.

  • I'm in!!!

  • cute top!

  • @sunshinelovespeace opppSsS, I msspelt his last name in the comment. Its Eggerichs. Emerson Eggerichs that wrote the book.

  • I love this!!! I'm starting today,

  • I'm all in!!! This is exciting and sounds exactly like a challenge I need to get into!

  • I wanna try this with my boyfriend...lol

  • @ItsSandyCheeks try it !! it works but being pregnant girl hormones rage a little bit ,I get upset over little stuff haaaa!!!! be back to Normal in 5 weeks!!!

  • @Kinkycurlycoil yea I def will...you should too it would be a different challenge for you considering that you are preggers...it would be interesting

  • hey sunshine!!! I have been reading the best book for engaged couples, newlyweds & marrieds.. it's called "Love & Respect" by Emerson Rggerichs.. check this book out. i promise it will change your life. Its a completely amazing book from the Christian perspective. It references the bible a ton & has changed my outlook.

  • @beautybykat80 Thanks for the title!

  • @beautybykat80 That's funny, I mentioned this same book to S.unshine. My husband and I started reading it a while back but haven't finished. I'm going to suggest we get back to it though. From what we read, it's a good read and brings some interesting points into perspective.

  • @NaturallyCreole isn't it a great book??? Its changing my life for sure!

  • i would like to do this but does it still count if he is your boyfriend?

  • I'm ready.

  • Count me in. Starting 9-9-10!!! Thanks for the challenge.

  • COUNT ME IN!!!

  • Okay seriously Sunshine, how can you start this challenge without us??? I'm going to start tomorrow, or maybe Friday, or maybe after our weekend trip....cause Lord knows he's going to drive me crazy on the road...LOL

  • @Kizzymat LOL! Now is the best time to start. Test yourself. The trip will probably go sooo much more smoothly if you are on the challenge.

  • @Kizzymat haaaa!!! road trip ummm let us pray !! I 'm starting Friday myself :)

  • I can tell ya I get great results from doing that! haa If I did that for 30 days I could imagine what results ~~ Trying to decide should I start tomrrow haaa bc I am 35 weeks preggers LOL!! moody moody LOL but not over Moody I know my place ...ok ok I start Tomorrow!!! Here we go !!!!

  • @Kinkycurlycoil wow! Pregnant? hmmmmm I don't know about you. LOL! When I was pregnant I sometimes shocked myself at how moody I was.

But then again the challenge is all about not voicing your negatives, so perhaps even you can try it. It will just require not voicing all the pregnant, hormone -driven things going on in your head.

Congratulations on the baby! Boy or Girl?

  • @sunshinelovespeace oops too late gotta start tomorrow/Friday!!! ! lol :) for some reason mood swings just come off negative and before you know it u have to catch urself :),but I did catch myself !! 2 pts LOL!! I am pretty good about trying to be positve ,but these hormones are not helping !!! they get the best of me :) Oh , I have a BOY and this one is a GIRL !!! baby mission completed LOL!!

  • You also reminded me of a book my husband and I started reading but never finished. It's titles: Love & Respect: The Love SheMost Desires, the Respect He Desperately Needs. You and M should read it together if you haven't already ;-) I'm definitely going to suggest to my husband that we get back to it.

  • @NaturallyCreole I think I heard about this book.

  • @sunshinelovespeace From what we read it's pretty good! I just need to finish lol

  • I'm IN!! Please help keep me accountable! lol

  • @NaturallyCreole haaa I'm in I messed up already sooo I'll start FRIDAY lol!!! Hormones I tell ya!!!

  • I'm in ! I will do the Challenge !

  • SUnshine! Lady you are a charm, i WISH my friend was into youtube videos. she really needs to hear this message. i hang out with her and her guyfriend and they are constantly at each others throat about her nagging, complaining & time wastefulness. her guyfriend is my old friend. i know hes aggravated but what do i say? their both my friends and i dont want to get between their relationship in anyway. I just pray she comes to place to humble herself & appreciate the man he wants to be for her.

  • SLP, I was just thinking - If he does or says something that sets me off, and I don't say anything negative to him, can I just bust im in da head???

  • @maximuslyricus Great question..LOL

  • ill join ur challenge with my boyfriend

  • Hey Sunshine :) I am not yet married but I would love to join this challenge. Thank you so much for sharing this!

  • I am so joining in! I need to speak more to God about my marriage anyway being that He is the one that brought us together and keeps us together!!! Thank you for this inspiration ... so very on time! God bless you!

  • Hey Sunshine. I am so happy that you are growing more in the Lord and I am glad to see you sharing your faith with everyone. I would like to hear about how your deeper relationship with God has impact your marriage and your family, as well as how M's faith has been. I don't think you talked too much about M's relationship with God. Just a suggestion.

  • Well I'm not married yet but I have a fiance. I'll have to try this!

  • I will definatly join you in this challenge. I have been getting really flip mouth with my hubby lately and I know I need to calm my nerves and listen instead of jumping the gun when he is talking to me

  • Great challenge. Count me in.

  • I'm not married but I've been with my guy for 3yrs I am definitely interested in doing this challange I think it would really help lol

  • mind when I think it's called for. That's a long way of saying that I'm gonna have to carefully and seriously consider thangs b4 I take up this challenge. I'll let u know as soon as I meditate and yeah girl - pray on this thang!

  • @maximuslyricus What you said about getting p'd off when others took your lead and commented negatively on your husband was so REAL! I hear what you are saying and I struggled with not wanting to be negative with my husband while still addressing issues. I do not think the challenge calls for us to ignore issues, but perhaps address them in ways that are still loving, respectful and honouring to our mates.

  • @sunshinelovespeace BTW, when I wrote the letter, I only said how I felt, I never pointed a finger of blame. I was very respectful and loving and honoring in the letter. When we talked later, I really felt heard. It was great!

  • @maximuslyricus Case in point, I had some things I needed to address with M. I prayed about it and asked God to help me. I ended up writing a letter, that I know was inspired by the Lord. The letter was genius! I was able to share how I was feeling and he could read it in his own time.

I gave him space to read it and I waited for him to bring it up to me later. I wrote it it with the mind that once I wrote down my feelings, I was going to release the anger and hurt with it!

  • speaking positively about him to folk, thereby letting them know that my expectations are that if there's something to be said about him in my presence, it had better be positive. Now. On the other hand, I've always been the sort to speak my own mind loud and clear. So if I got something to say against my husband to him, say it I will. I will admit, that I've learned the hard way that some subject matter is just best left alone. But other than that, I don't mind giving my man a piece of my

  • SLP! U're on fire today! As regarding the challenge, I made up my mind not to talk negatively about my husband to other people years ago. That's because my feelings have always been: 'I can talk negative about my husband, but YALL betta not say nothin!' So when people would follow my lead and start talking negatively about my husband, I would get pissed off. I finally realized that rather than writing folk off for talking negatively about my husband, I could be more effective by only

  • i'm gonna do this challenge!..

  • I'm going to join you on this challenge. I often catch myself pointing out his mistakes, when I know I make my own mistake daily and he never throws them in my face. For a while I hid behind the mind frame that I was trying to help him...lol. No what I was doing was naggin, judging, underminding him, I was just wrong. Wow!!! I can finally admit it. As a woman of God who is married to a man of God, I knew I had to make changes. I have been doing better but I slip up...so I'm with you on this!

  • @SoSoulFull I am so happy for you that you realized what you were doing and attempted to correct it!

This challenge is going to be great!

  • Thank You Sunshine x

  • I would so do this challenge!..if i had a husband, lol. Great idea tho!

  • @MusicLova84 hahahaha me too girl!! me too... lol

  • @mimi504 Me three.....lol!!

  • @mimi504 lol, our day will surely come!!

  • @MusicLova84 The ladies suggested for the single women to do it with their male co-workers. or other men you interact with daily. We can be belittling to other men than just husbands. Whatdya think?

  • @sunshinelovespeace good point, and good idea!

  • @MusicLova84 LOL me too... I would even do it if I had a BF... AH well i'll try it in a couple years...
