They should use Rain-X on the wind shield (not to advertise or anything), but I LOVE the stuff, never have to use my wipers when it rains when I apply that stuff.

Well most new BMW's have rain sensors on their windshields so there is no need for rain-x...

rain-x creates a non-polar surface, a surface water can not cling to. it works better than just wipers.

I had Rain-X on the windshield of my '02 Elantra when I drove from holland to Frankfurt autoshow 13 days ago. It worked well! When it stopped raining, I hit 205 km/h with that little sedan :)

Rain-x works good @ 45pmh + with no wipers at all but rain sensing wipers work well too

The people in this automobile are some of the best in the world at what they do. They would not have done it if they felt like they were overly endangering anyone past what is normal when driving on the highway. I suggest reading Alex Roy's (The Driver) book.

Stock is 400HP(396 to be specific)

The modifications on this would make it close to 450 HP with the kelleners sport exahust and a software chip to remove the speed limiter. Most E39 M5's will run 175-186MPH with the limiter (155MPH) removed.
