  • With Jason Todd taking up all the seriousness, I'm glad Nightwing decided to take up the not-as-serious part. "Lasers! He's got lasers!" LOL! I mean, all you wanna say is, "No SHIT!!", but at least he's not trying to be badass like Batman in this movie.

  • Nightwing: Lasers! He's got lasers!!!!

    Batman: Well no shit!

  • Are the voices of the thugs in this the same as in Arkham City?

  • Nightwing, I...

  • he got laser! he got laser! No really!!!!

  • lol at the thugs discussing batfamily :D

  • Bender as Joker...I love both so much, this is such an epic moment.

  • Batman and Nightwing fighting together is pure art and perfection... wish there were more scenes of them fighting together

  • they should change this movie name to "the world's most athletic people in costumes fighting each other"

  • Holy crap.... NPH does nightwing's voice??? I was wondering why he was cooler all of the sudden

  • "all grown up in your big-boy pants.."

Yeah, let's not lie, we were all thinking the exact same thing. Kudos to Dick for the whole "pants" thing. :D

  • 7:32 Chuck Norris let nightwing borrow his stapler

  • Even though this isn't Mark Hamil? I think Maggio pulled it off nicely, no fuck that...he pulled off awesomely.

  • Na more like deadpool

  • You know, is it just me or does Red Hood looks awfully like (I mean his head when he wears that red mask) spiderman...just me then? Fine... :(

  • How does nightwing not have an animated movie?

  • "Lasers! He's got LASERS!" should be a meme!!

  • NPH=Nightwing= FUCK YEAH!!!

  • bat man u bad ass gone blow up the mans head .

  • 01:07 nightwing coustume turns black and blue 2 black and white akward!

  • Team Work Doesn't Get Any Better Then Bruce & Dick

  • LASERS! HE'S GOT LASERS! think that maybe it copied SUPERMANS abilities?

  • Dick likes to point out the obvious.

    "lasers, he's got lasers!" duh

  • 7:35

    Extreme Heavy Duty stapler

  • Should have got Mark Hamill. I would have laughed a lot harder.

  • Why is Bender wearing make-up? XD

  • this is going to legen-waitforitbecausei'mfightingasuperandroidthatcancopymethumanpowers-dary

sorry, had to, it's Neil Patrick Harris for god's sake

  • damn Batman putting joker in a body cast for 6 months for killing Jason..... surprised that it wasnt a year

  • The Joker in this one is perfect. Is it Mark Hammel?

  • @Rudejack007 Actually, it's John DiMaggio. You really think it sounds like Hamil? DiMaggio's voice is a lot deeper and his laugh isn't quite as manic, in my opinion.

  • @Alphaend thanks! but its not like I'm far off, Mark Hamil played the joker in many animated series and in arkham city

  • @Alphaend DiMaggio's Joker is also more New Yorker.

  • "He has the same weak points as a human being,"

"Got it, this might sting a bit," (stabs the robot fella in the ears with two knives)

  • WTF when did skynet send a terminator to kill batman?

  • WHERES TIM DRAKE!!!!

  • @dbSasukez This point in the story of DC comics gotham City, he is not mentionable. sorry.

  • @dbSasukez he comes after Jason Todd

  • I thought it was an alternate universe in where Robin becomes Red Hood instead of Nightwing. Who's Jason?! I'm so confused.

  • @TheBlackKatana Nightwing was the orginal Robin Dick Grayson. Jason Todd, the second Robin, was killed by the Joker and was resurrected by Ras al Gul. Jason sought revenge on the Joker and became the Red Hood. Hope that helps!

  • @Kintobor29 thanks :D

  • Is that Neil Patrick Harris?!

  • @MRoERVICE As Nightwing, yes. owo

  • @MRoERVICE yes

  • BATMAN ADOPTED ROBIN

  • Is it just me or does just knowing batman make you instantly good at parkour

  • nightwing is my favorite dc comic hero i grew up with him and it was so cool seeing him grow as i was too i wish they made a nightwing show that would be sweet.

  • Wait is jason red mask and nightwing or just one please reply

  • @TheMankind51 Dick is Nightwing, Jason is Red Hood. They're two different guys, but they were both Robins.

  • "You are all grown-up with your big boy pants."

  • Night wing and batman fighting is so badass they should have more fight scenes of batman and night wing fighting a enemy :D

  • If I was being chased by Batman and the original Robin, I'd be pissing my pants.

  • "Did you know he could fly?" "Lasers! He's got lasers!" "Could you for once say let's get in the car?" Sounds more like Barney Stintson lines :D

  • Who Is Nightwing Is He Robin Is He Batman's Son Let Me Know

  • @britneyfan45 Nightwing's name is Dick Grayson. At a young age, both of his parents were murdered; Bruce Wayne, who was present at the tragedy, took Dick under his wing out of sympathy. Dick then discovered that Bruce was Batman, and thus became Robin. He operated under the title until adulthood, at which point he moved away and changed his name to Nightwing. They're not biologically related; however, Bruce formally adopted Dick as his son several years later.

  • @britneyfan45 Nightwing is Dick Grayson, the original Robin.

  • @britneyfan45 Nope, terry Mcginnis is wayne's son.

  • @mmmmmarcus In DCAU. And in comics, his biological son is Damian Wayne.

  • i would of loved to c nigthwing figth the red hood

  • @TheDraftjock True. I think Nightwing fought Jason Todd in the comics. Beat him there.

  • omg dean from supernatural is the red hood i love him!!

  • Neil Patrick Harris? THE Neil Patrick Harris?!

  • they need to go back to loren lester to voice nightwing (the guy that played nightwing in the new batman adventures) that nightwing was BADASS

  • 1:10 GET! OUT!

    2:22 You're terminated, fucker!

  • Comment removed

  • Neil Patrick Harris FTW

  • I like it when Nightwing has the flowy hair it makes him look more badass, like a veteran

  • how much robins is there

  • @markymark12ish Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Damian Wayne (current), and Carrie Kelly (unofficial continuity)

    So, 7.

  • @Alphaend there are girl robins? o.0 aret those batgirls?

  • @poiklpoiuy1 Nope. Stephanie Brown DID go on to serve as Batgirl later on, but for a time, she was 100% Robin. Carrie Kelly was Robin through and through for all we saw of her.

  • @markymark12ish PFFT I mean 6. Don't mind me, I can't count that high.

  • NPH as nightwing ?

  • 0:56 batman arkham city- rc battarang upgrade: U turn

  • one thing that my brother and I can agree about this movie would be what happens to Jason Todd, it totally calls out for a sequel (if they do make one I hope it's at least as good as this film). he didn't how Batman moved to bust one of Jason's guns I mean it's like pulling a flash right there

  • "Could you for once just say 'Let's get in the car"? Is that so hard?"

  • Ok, I'm a female and I keep falling hopelessly falling in love with Nightwing/Dick.

    Help me.

Oh well, beats being obsessed with Edward Cullen. That stuff is ew.

  • @HaloCorleone Um, let's see... uh... his Voice actor is gay? Sorry, that's the best I've got.

  • @bigfatcarp93 Do not diss Neil Patrick Harris - if you saw him on How I Met Your Mother you would not believe he was gay.

  • @WinterMelodyxo How was I dissing him?

  • @bigfatcarp93 cause you made the point that he was gay, a bad point. A reason not to like him.

  • @WinterMelodyxo Ah, but I was merely pointing it out as a reason for a girl to not like him ROMANTICALLY. See?

  • @WinterMelodyxo I have no problem with NPH. I think he's a really funny guy and a pretty decent actor.

  • @bigfatcarp93 hmmm, okayy.

  • @HaloCorleone I'm more of a Batman/Bruce Wayne girl myself >> If only he were twenty years younger...and real, I guess. And not a complete emotional failure. Sigh.

But hey, I'd date JOKER before Eddie Sparklepire 8||

  • @Alphaend So it's for the money? =P

  • @Alphaend hey can you guys like marry me? cuz that is the most attractive thing a girl can say

  • @SethBOYY Depends...do you sparkle in the sunlight? Or stare creepily at a girl a century or so younger than yourself while inflicting borderline emotional abuse upon her? Or wage a beautiful, sparkly war against wolfmen with disturbingly washboard stomachs?

Cuz I'm pretty flexible, but that ain't hot, bro.

  • @Alphaend amen!! i will gladly made u breakfast in bed any day

  • @SethBOYY excellent. We shall be wed by dawn!

By which I mean you a pretty cool dude.

  • @HaloCorleone

I will make you a sandwich, lady.

  • "I wouldn't mind a few suggestions!"

"He has the same weak points as a human being!"

"got it! this might sting a bit!"

    *kicks him in the balls*

  • I like the mark hammil impression more for that joker scene..... none of the new joker voices are as good as Mark Hammil's was.

  • One thing I didn't like about Batman in this was how cold he was to Dick. I mean he knows Dick can handle himself, he doesn't need to worry about him; and Dick knows about the whole Jason Todd incident. Why needlessly push him away?

  • "Who's that guy? The pretty-boy in the leotard?" Jeez, writers, we don't need you guys to tell us Nightwing is pretty. XD

  • didnt nightwing get raped by tarantula

  • @winchest961 Yyyyep.

  • @winchest961 Do you... mean that literally?

  • @gLOLdos Not the OP, but - yes. In the comics, there was a female vigilante named Tarantula who began operating in Bludhaven. During her run there, Nightwing was going through some emotional trauma. He finally suffered a breakdown when she convinced him to let her kill a villain named Blockbuster. While he was curled up on a rooftop in emotional anguish, she came along had sex with him, which could technically be categorized as rape.

  • @Alphaend Thank you. That is very weird!

  • @gLOLdos You're welcome :)

  • @gamingdonnie well they are gonna hav to introduce robin first. people will get confused if you just skip to him being nightwing.

  • In this movie it seems that Nightwing is kind of annoying, but in the comics hes even more darker than Batman. I prefer that and they need a Nightwing movie, a real one. With Chris Nolan as a director.

  • @gamingdonnie Mind explaining what you mean by comics Nightwing being darker than Batman? He's always been more lighthearted and positive in my opinion, serving as a bright foil to Batman's brooding and seriousness. Just like in this movie.

  • @Alphaend I mean in this film he's annoying, no doubt however in comics he seems to be more frustrated or discomforted when near Batman. Probably because of the bad experiences, also watch the animated series NightWing is pretty dark. Atleast Batman sometimes says something funny. ya kno'?

  • @gamingdonnie Ohh I see. Yeah, Animated Nightwing is a big old grouchypuss XD But comics Nightwing...not sure if I can agree with you on that one! Are you referring to some of the earlier issues, when he still had problems with Batman? Or the arc where he felt like he was failing Batman as a protege? Because in most that I've read (and I've read a lot), Nightwing's general attitude around Bats is joking, talkative, and good-natured.

  • @Alphaend Yea we are both right, at first when Nightwing returns from bludhaven hes very dark but as time passes he becomes more of talkative person. However in Batman animated series hes also quite dark.

  • @Alphaend

Nightwing can be dark sometimes when he's by himself, but it tends to be a self inflicting dark, unlike Batman who's dark life just catches up with him. Whenever Nightwing gets around Batman (just like any other apprentice) he can't help but act like his old self (the inner Robin if you will "Holy Fishcakes Batman!"). Also Nightwing is naturally a performer. Likes the spotlight more than Batman.

Just thought I'd find the most complicated way to say, "I agree with you"

  • I understand why batman won't kill joker. But, why don't the people or courts of gotham just sentence him to death? I know he is insane but after you keep breaking out of arkham every other month and kill hundreds or thousands a people enough is enough. Gotham is one of the most crooked places in dc universe but they won't kill the joker smh.

Also nightwing needs his own movie. An animated movie as nightwing.

  • @jagpac13 The obvious answer is that they can't kill the Joker off, because he's the most iconic Batman villain. The in-universe explanation? They're a bunch of dumbasses.

  • @Alphaend The ACTUAL in-universe explanation is that he's crazy, therefore, legally not responsible. Of course, in the real world, the joker is only alive cuz his the bats archenemy

  • @DevilishmanThe Yeah, but the OP addressed that and countered that he's killed hundreds of thousands (which probably isn't actually too far off of a guess). Even if the courts kept letting him off the hook in real life for whatever damn reason, the citizen backlash that would have inevitably resulted by now would've been absolute balls-crazy. They'd have to off him on mere principle of satiating the people.

    So like I said, dumbasses.

  • @Alphaend While I don't agree about satiating the people since laws arent for that, I do admit that there's a limit. Crazy or not, the joker should burn

  • @DevilishmanThe Laws aren't normally, no, but remember that it's Gotham we're dealing with. Honestly, I'm very surprised that no corrupt officals have gone under the table to whack Joker and get the support of the people. They've done just about everything else in the Batman universe 8|

Anyway, political debate aside, we all agree that Joker's a douche that needs to fry. Too bad it's just never going to happen.

  • @Alphaend i thought that they kept him alive because he was a prime example of a lunatic and they wanted to prove that the system could cure him. but hey, your explanation is much better XD

  • @jagpac13 oh hell forget killing him a full frontal labotamy would work rather well

  • What series is this O_O never saw it

  • @dannydjduc99

It's a movie, batman under the red hood :)

  • @nielsdejong thank you man

  • @dannydjduc99 It's an animated movie called Batman Under the Red Hood.

  • Is this movie in the same universe as in YJ, its cause of Batmans voice and Robins snarky atitude like in the show.

  • @0424ivan They're not officially in the same universe, but there's nothing saying they aren't, either. I like to think it's the same universe, myself.

  • @Alphaend Yeah, and Joker getting bulkier might be a result of fighting Batman for years now, if they are in the same, i wonder how old is batman now since hes 32 in YJ and since Robin is like in his 20s and he did spend a few years with Jason and then another 5 skipped, i think hes pretty old here like maybe even his 50s.

  • @Alphaend The Joker in YJ is crap, the Joker in under the red hood is not. Nuff said.

  • Why the F didn't the sniper just shoot the guys in tights.

  • @AFunnyFucker He didn't want to. They're technically on the same side, they just operate differently (i.e. Red Hood will kill, Batman & Nightwing won't)

  • I reeeally need to find all other Batman/Robin animated shows (cause im from the uk and we don't have comics). I only know The Batman and Young Justice & Justice League but I haven't got round to watching Justice League.

  • @WinterMelodyxo Yeah, check out Batman The Animated Series (BTAS), Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. Those had the best Joker ever.

  • @uberathlete Awesome :3 I've watched the first 3 episodes (its 1 big episode I think) of Justice League but I can't seem to find many Justice League Episodes online seeing as Megaupload and sister sites were shut down around a month ago.

  • I should start getting fashion tips from joker. he seems to know a thing or two.

  • some one wanna tell me why that blimp was flying that low?

  • 3:00 and the reason why the sniper didn't shoot batman or nightwing is...?

  • @isleschild he doesn't want to kill them. the sniper is jason todd ('dead' robin)

  • @d1sk0v3rYcH4nN3l 2nd Robin

  • Neil Patrick Harris + Nightwing = <3

  • I love how this still portrays them as a solid team

  • @DikaXP Jason Todd is the second Robin. Dick Grayson (Nightwing and original Robin) quit because he was tired of Batman. You can watch the episode where he quits (Batman: The Animanted Series; Old Wounds) According to Under the Red hood, Jason Todd was already semi trained from being on the streets. Batman took him in and thus he became the second Robin. Then in this movie, he was killed by joker and resurrected back to life. There's also a 3rd Robin (Tim Drake) but he never shows in this movie.

  • does anyone know where i can watch these series?

  • @Madkrillz95 It's not a series, it's a movie. It's called "Batman: Under the Red Hood" and if you have Netflix you can instantly stream it to your Wii, TV, Xbox, Computer, etc. It's really good.

  • The red hoods mask bears a striking resemblance to spidermans

  • @TheCrew1221 to me Deadpool

  • @TheCrew1221 how

  • Ill admit Hammil not voicing the joker was a little disappointing but this new guy isn't half bad.

  • Okay so if Joker returns in the next Batman game, which I'm sure he will, I'm all for John DiMaggio voicing him. I think he'd do a great job.

  • all these theme music background or w/e it is, it reminds me of transformer movie theme -_-

  • @CaptainPirateMonkey, Neil Patrick Harris, yes

  • I love how badass Nightwing looks when the crook is saying "He was the Bat's first sidekick, the first Robin." And I personally think they did a good job on Nightwing's character because he still has the comments that make you laugh, like when he was Robin.

  • @52Katiekinz i don't get the whole "first" and "second" robin part and i can't find the answer could you explain it to me when did batman replace nightwing thus still having time to raise robin from his 10th year of age :D i was so confused when they said that he was the first robin :/

  • IS it the dude from "How I met your mother" who is the voice for nightwing?

  • @farizzal my point is that dick grayson is nightwing and batman didnt find out that dick was with him the whole time.

  • Absolutely loved this movie! I think Neil Patrick Harris did a fantastic job as Nightwing and i was glad he did because Nightwing has always been a favorite character of mine in the Batman and DC comics universe. John DiMaggio really did do a good job as the Joker and Bruce Greenwood did absolutely awesome as Batman! And can someone tell me who did the voice of Jason Todd? xD

  • @0826Alex Jensen Ackles voiced JT

  • is it just me, or does nightwing sound EXACTLY like Amazing Spiderman from SD?

  • haha, nightwing is funny =3

  • Neil Patrick Harris is Nightwing :)

  • lol all grown up in your big boy pants.

  • Nightwing: "You know what I miss most about running with you? The toys."

I don't know why, but I just like that line.

  • after all this is a good movie and the dude that played the joker pull it off, voice sounded good

  • NPH voicing Nightwing = epic win.

  • To me, Hamill IS the joker, and Conroy IS the Batman. But that doesn't mean we can't see other interpretations. IMHO, John DiMaggio did a spectacular job of making this Joker be dark and menacing without sacrificing his eccentricity.

  • he's got lazers! ROAR heatbeam eyeblast(Jackie Chan Adventures)

  • How the hell does that thug know anything about how many robins batman's had?! 'Till today i still don't understand.

  • Nightwing=Barney=legendary!

  • It's amazing how arrogant those two are. Hotheads.

  • UH isnt Dick Grayson A.K.A robin...nightwing also?
