I would hope that we all now realize, Libs included, that the gun reg did not work, did not save anyone, and in fact uselessly diverted billions which could have been utilized to fight ACTUAL gun crime, not harass farmers, hunters, and sport shooters. I would hope that we also now realize that it is time for Canada to support and allow a law abiding citizen's right to defend themselves and their families from violent criminal elements of society. @cazyhorseworld The FAC was only a police background check like Ed Hudson said in the video. Unlike the PAL there was no written test, no practical test, and no wanting to know every aspect about your personal life.
@xxxxxxx6xxxxxxx thanks. that makes more sense than the course and background check we had to go through. then waiting 3 months while they processed my liceance, my sons took 8 months he missed out on the manditory hunting course here because you need a pal to take it. the whole thing was a joke from word go including the course.
No. Keep the PAL. And ditch the bans against weapons that have no reason being banned (FALs/G3s/AKs etc.) and the restricted weapons laws. (which are just bat shit stupid) . And start laying down the foundations for a Conceal Carry licensing.
