the first one has 32 vs 32 battles, 2 has 16 vs 16. you can laydown in 1 you cant in 2. in 1 you can fly star fighters in ground battles you cant in 2 except on hoth. 2 is more fast paced and has smaller maps. 1 has shadows 2 dosent but it has solid graphics so over all 1 is the better out out of the 2

Sw1 was way better, the battlefront series was supposed to be from the soldiers perspective, your supposed to fight alongside the Jedi not AS the Jedi. Plus you could prone in swbf1 and way better maps in battlefront 1, so my vote is that battlefront 1 is way better.

I remember the battles being much more intense in BF1, and the AI was much more smarter in it. The only BF2 has is a bit more stuff, to me the space battles weren't so great.

bf1 is better in my opinion. the game looks,feels, and plays better then bf2 pluss they did some stuff in bf2 that made no sense, a very good example is the fact that they made the mines have a bright red light on them. and i hate how they made it where you couldnt crowl, its one of those minor features that if you remove it takes a bit of the fun out.
In my opinion, I prefered the first one for messing around and killing jedi. On the other hand I loved the galactic conquest and campain modes on SWBF2
@rdshgs I dont agree that swb2 sucked, but i do agree that they need to make a stb3. It would be awesome if they made it with the Frostbite or Cryteck engine (Frostbite is Battlefield bad company, Cryteck is Crysis)
swb1 is for men andpure skills where eveyrhting is much more detailed and much more gameplay and the blasters are not crap like in AT AT when you shoot and everybody dies
swb2 for babys and noskllls where you can kill everything with your eyes clothes and every veicle sucks

@Mrzombiedrummer I agree there should be an option to choose either clones from Ep. 2 or Ep. 3 because in BF2 there is only one map that you can be the SW Ep. 2 clones.
@CamelBallZee Hmm I never noticed that being a a major difference. I like BF 2 for it's better balance of classes and teams, but I also liked in BF 1 that there were levels with space ships and infantry together besides Hoth.

@TheFuggedaboutit nope i havn't tested all wepens yet but um if you want first person when you are in a battle press start then go to opshons then go to game settings then at the top it will say 3thd person press x on that then it will say 1st person then un pause it and BOOM your done i hope this helped
NO brainer for me bf1 cause it has prone and cause players being able to play as a hero is just dumb if I wanted to play as a hero i would play the jedi knight series or something

I dunno why, but the first had a bigger impact on me as a kid. I hadn't played anything like it. 2 was very good but the maps wern't as good, but you did get to play as heros so...
there both good for different reasons bf1 was better in the ways of smarter ai more things to tell the ai on your team to do and the menus just look a lot cooler bf2 had space battles more game modes and playable charters they both had great maps (bf1 had cloud city and bf2 had mustafar) like that kind of stuff bf1 when you go prone which you cant even do in bf2 the camera moves with in like your head would......personly i like bf1 better and it would be great with space battles and 501st skins
In bf2 the Ai sucks. Campign mode is a lot better and i really like the journal entries. Also i like to be the heroes and the villians. Bf1 was REALLY hard for me and it had Rhen var and cloud city. Bf2 for the xbox you could get an expansion pack that would let you download rhen var and cloud city though. Personally i say play bf1 for some more challenge and play bf2 for story.
I LOVED battlefront 1 it was so fun it had amazing maps but sadly my disc got scratched up real bad and i cant play it but i probably will go buy another copy of it bcuz it was amazing! Battlefront 2 was good but not better than the 1st battlefront

starwars battlefront one is really good and i prefer it rather than battlefront 2, like the geonousis map in 1 is awesome and in the first you get to fly veicles in land maps like geonosius and its funner so i say 1 rather than 2 and personally think that the first is the best. sorry for bad spelling
one thing i hated a about battlefront 2 was the fact that any important character in the battle that died, bowed down on their knees instead of dying like a regular soldier like in battlefront 1.

After playing BF2 forever (favorite game :D) I finally picked up the first.
Vehicles and Droideka are insanely OP and some of the maps are ridiculously unbalanced. Plus I miss being able to sprint lol.
AI is awful too. Most of the time they will just stand there. I can get 68 kills in a game but the other team still annihilates us. Very annoying.

battlefront 1 looks more realistic,
on battlefront 2 there are characters that dont exist?!?!,
on battlefront 1 you can jump out (like ejector seats),
on battlefront 1 the scope on sniper looked more realistic,
and the whole point in jedi / sith is to blow there bloody heads off

@TheFuggedaboutit nope i havn't tested all wepens yet but um if you want first person when you are in a battle press start then go to opshons then go to game settings then at the top it will say 3thd person press x on that then it will say 1st person then un pause it and BOOM your done i hope this helped

BF1 IMO is better, with a look of inside the vehicle you are driving. More maps, smarter AI, nearly double the fun of BF2

there both good for different reasons bf1 was better in the ways of smarter ai more things to tell the ai on your team to do and the menus just look a lot cooler bf2 had space battles more game modes and playable charters they both had great maps (bf1 had cloud city and bf2 had mustafar) like that kind of stuff bf1 when you go prone which you cant even do in bf2 the camera moves with in like your head would......personly i like bf1 better and it would be great with space battles and 501st skins

In bf2 the Ai sucks. Campign mode is a lot better and i really like the journal entries. Also i like to be the heroes and the villians. Bf1 was REALLY hard for me and it had Rhen var and cloud city. Bf2 for the xbox you could get an expansion pack that would let you download rhen var and cloud city though. Personally i say play bf1 for some more challenge and play bf2 for story.

I LOVED battlefront 1 it was so fun it had amazing maps but sadly my disc got scratched up real bad and i cant play it but i probably will go buy another copy of it bcuz it was amazing! Battlefront 2 was good but not better than the 1st battlefront

starwars battlefront one is really good and i prefer it rather than battlefront 2, like the geonousis map in 1 is awesome and in the first you get to fly veicles in land maps like geonosius and its funner so i say 1 rather than 2 and personally think that the first is the best. sorry for bad spelling

one thing i hated a about battlefront 2 was the fact that any important character in the battle that died, bowed down on their knees instead of dying like a regular soldier like in battlefront 1.
