if you own a purebread husky, you own a wolf. A huskie is a domesticated wolf but has not been changed in any way. Unlike the german shepard and like which have had specific traits engeneered into there breed.

In what way? I acknowledge that if you get technical every dog IS a wolf. However, Most dogs have been bred with specific traits. For instance, I chiwowa(however its spelled) isnt a natural occurance. Nether is a datsun. These breed were just that, Bred. Like a german shepard. To exhibit special traits or qualities.
