No one is credible to speak on the Bible when they speak a lot of profanity- especially for money.

Since Steve Harvey gives relationship advice and professes to be a Christian, I was hoping he would have commented on the video called "What Women Want is Worship".

I don't understand how ppl think that we are suppose to get a closer realtionship with God if we don't go through some things and have STUIPD MOMENTS, and once we realize that we have been running from GOD, we start to REbuild that relationship with him. And in doing that we have to tell the other ppl that is just like us that He is real and that He still do love us when we wasn't at our best (MENTALLY) IN the same way you have been talking to them, so that they can get the same understanding

if cursing and such negates someone's christianity, there would be a lot of empty churches. i grew up in church and saw of lot of behavior from men of the cloth and let's not even open up the catholic clergy can of worms. it's not the language but the intention that makes one unsavory. this topic is always a slippery slope

It doesn't matter the intent in which u use them (which doesn't make sense ne way because most of the time ppl curse when their angry) but the fact that cursing is negative period. i'd argue that christians who demean or belittle their children or spouses, angry or not, by the language they use are being just as negative so regardless of what words are used or how the letters are arranged, the outcome is the same... as i mentioned in my previous post, the topic is always a slippery slope. thanks for expressing your opinion.

Truth be told, I haven't a clue. Everyone's relationship with God is personal and how would we know if Steve is not saved from afar. For what it is worth, it does not appear to me that you are making a judgement/condemnation but rather an observation. A judgement occurs when someone acts upon an observation such as an execution or excommunication. Jesus did not judge the adultress but still suggested that she turned from her ways.
