  • This song always soothes and makes me feel more reflective.

  • One of the greatest

  • I love this song so much, and the video is pretty cool as well. My favorite part is at 0:48 when it shows the "Led-Zeppelin IV" and "Hotel California" albums..two great albums.

  • forgot how much I enjoy this band...love this tune

  • only 34,000 views!!! What a fucking joke!!!!!!!!! Typical, great music like this goes unheard and music from lady shit for brains gaga gets 40 million views. Jesus!!!

  • This 2:22 minutes is the best time I've ever spent.

  • i saw keith kane play in montreal on saturday

    he was great!

  • They are from kelowna, BC. They will be touring in 2010 hopefully so please buy tickets tyty kthxbai.

  • So very beautiful. For me it is the best song ever.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • Time Apart I realize the names the most we shared, unlike u theres no way I could spend forever there....What a brilliant lyric, I wish Kevin Kane would release an album full of songs like this

  • In any other country, this song would have been huge. We 're strange here, we ignore our best.

  • @robertmacisaac I agree

  • @robertmacisaac if your referring to canada i agree with you i mean people like bryan adams have made it i dont know why fthis was not larger in popular recognized scope its brilliant to the point , being so short but it says so much brilliant writing i heard it said stays short and it certainly is the case here,

  • There song brings back memories for me..

  • Lee Michaels!!! (Do You Know What I Mean)

  • at 44 seconds, it shows 4 vinyls who one is the first one on the left. cause i can name the other 3

  • Brilliant Canuckian band. Reminds me of my youth....I'm gettin misty *sniff*

  • would have been nice to see them play at the Olympics - awesome band! I think they are from Vancouver too ...

  • @shazzastwins I believe Kelowna BC.. Or somewhere around there.

  • wow.. brings so much back...

  • popped into my head completely out of the blue for no apparent reason while reading. what a fantastic song, brings me back to my childhood.

  • Playing this weekend's Organic Festival and Sustainability Expo in Victoria, BC!!

  • I agree....deserved way more credit. Beautiful melody, harmony, etc.

  • great Canadian band. They should have been more succesful

  • @ottvalley Well the big thing was that they broke up just as they were starting to achive success.

  • @ottvalley

Unfortunately, you can say that about a lot of Canadian bands. Tragically Hip never really caught on in the U.S. even though they were Canada's most popular rock band. Living in Detroit, I get to hear a lot more Canadian music than most Americans. That's a good thing.

  • Beautiful voice and excellent song !

    5*****

Todas las estrella para este bello tema.

  • The video is indeed a single shot with no edits, but the house isn't real - it's a set (notice that each room is the same size and takes about the same amount of time to pass through).

  • This is such a fantastic riff.I have been workin on this. When i master it i think i will be quite happy!lol

  • love them!

  • if you grew up in the eighties in canada you knew this song well if you had any taste that is and hey what ever became of john major

  • Incredible song! It never fails to amaze me that these guys came from a metal town like Penticton!

  • "Live with discipline or live with regret" Pinball Clemons

A nice piece to reflect on a rainy day

Sad as it is - its impossible to be everything to everyone - that life is for suckers - enjoy

what you do - we're all temporary visitors to

this amazing planet. Cheers to Bobby

and after you watch that great film watch the Russian Ark (the making of a 90 min single take film is better viewing though) Enjoy.

  • Try listening to this while watching Lee Aaron's Watcha Do To My Body. You get twice teh Cdn content and it actually makes the song sadder. Thanks for posting the vid.

  • One continuous shot - one of the first videos that used this technique. Brilliant song and video from an almost forgotten Canadian band.

  • i remember when vancouver homes looked like this instead of foo foo yaletown showrooms.Hard riff to play

  • classic - pure love

  • Isn't Youtube like sitting around playing vinyl?

  • Never thought of that, so a different kind of warmth from the fire I guess too.

  • Wow.... vinyl records... how long has it been since we've seen those.

  • One of the many very underrated, little known songs of its time. It is getting a few years on it now and this song is still as poignant as it was a over decade ago.

  • Great song!
