@RemingtonArms Driver mod? thats a cop out sir. In that truck all you gotta do is mash the gas. No shifting, no launching, no side stepping the clutch. If you need a "driver mod" to race an AWD auto you shouldn't be @ the track my friend. My best time in my nearly stock V6 toyota x-runner (6 speed manual) was 14.9 @ 94 mph and that was WORK.

@BLACKLACDTS no its a 2 wheel drive when u get u a truck u have to go with the corsa exhaust its cost alot but it sounds awesome!

@colton010 i like the ltz models alot but thats not what i want. i want it the most striped i can get it with the 6.2. its not my everyday ride so i dont need it to be that nice. .i have friends with sum nasty silverados. 1 is a 07 6.0 full bolt ons and cam runs 12.5s, 1 is a 07 5.3 full bolt ons and cam runs 13.1s so i have a good suppoting cast to help build this truck.im lookin at a 05 with a built 6.0 makin 540hp and ran 11.80s on 24s!! so with smaller slicks and sum nos easy 10s.

I'm so glad I got rid of that truck, It cost me a arm and a leg just to get it washed! Plus I live where it's 3.30 a gallon for regular...I miss it sometimes, but hey, I love my LS

Not to bash your response but damn. I got a two ton 40+ year old Plymouth with a 2:76 rear end that's in the 14s, 383 stock block, heads, exhaust, and converter. That's what, for one. In this comparison anyway, modern, brand-name hardware makes a piss-poor showing. And I like your nick btw. We just bought a Remington 12 gauge pump that should strike terror into anyone hearing a 2-3/4 being chambered in the dead of night.

The fastest timme he's gotten in 12.6 but averages between 12.8-13.2. Pretty Goddamn fast for a 6000+ truck IMO.

I just remembered you ran 1/8 mile in Atlanta. I looked at my gtech and my best 1/8 is 9.04 @ 87.6mph.

Where in Texas? I am from Houston originally and will be in Houston/San Antonio in March.
