  • say NO to RPB! :) Kaii Yoshida is awesome.... in this match he wins a SET against the World Champion in this Tournament!!! and thats pretty damn good...

  • 1:45 amazing rally!

  • Amazing table tennis!

  • HOLY SHIT

    crazy HD!

  • I hope that this years wttc has the same image quality.

  • I don't like Yoshida Kaii, but he shld have won the point at 1.53. Unlucky really.

  • yoshida impersonates liu guoliang's original serve...=(

  • It seems the version from the ttcountenance is the best. Superb video quality. It makes me watch this game again even I watched it somewhere else.

  • Good video, but you don't need to leave that message at the top of the video box for the whole video.

  • theres an option at the side to hide annnotations

  • I think that's a sponsor, so ttCountenance has to.

  • mayb

  • not sure i was at this table tennis not to long ago and all the chinese players would yell that out so iasked what does cho exactly mean and he said its mean to win... i dnt kno hat language buddy

  • No meaning. Just self-cheering. Not big deal.

  • yoshida can't play with the backhand

  • cho means win dude

  • really? what language is that?

  • "cho" doesnt mean anything its just a shout-out that your happy for gotten that point

  • 1.53 SUPERB REVERSE PENHOLD!

  • Nah that wasn't an RPB. Still superb though.. ^^

  • what does "cho" mean? ping pong players say it all the time...

  • It's what some players say when they win a point. It's sort of a celebrating shout, or something...

  • Wang Hao played to Yoshida's backhand all the time, using his RPB to his advantage

  • Yoshida gave his life performance in the first three games, but gave up in the last two games.

  • 1:43 wow!!!!

  • How do you link to a specific point in the video like that? Cool!

  • just put the minute and seconds like the comment above you.

  • Like many China-born players representing countries outside China, Yoshida is a "second class" player and has never achieved ultimate greatness in the table tennis sport. Because China has taken the leading role for the last 20+ years to provide its players with continuously innovative playing styles and techniques that none of these countries can match. Besides, China has the largest population of the world; therefore, it produces the largest pool of talented top players of the world.

  • how come india cannot come up with 11 dudes to play soccer and won the world cup then ?=.=" hilarious...

  • @tyoungos but only in table tennis

  • @tyoungos It was only in the very late nineties that you can start to talk about 'dominance', besides, sweden was World Champ in 2000! Last 20+ years ago, for at least 10 years, it was Sweden and their neighbours who dominated! Don't exaggerate...

  • reverse penhold backhand

  • the only player who uses RPB is wang hao and ma lin.....

  • Xu Xin, Li Ching, Ko Lai Chak, Kan Yo.

Xu Xin uses it just about all the time (like Wang Hao), the rest of them use it rarely.

  • wang zeng yi, xu xin, li ching, liu guoliang, kan yo

  • 2ゲーム目の10-6と10-7の時、吉田がサーブを変えて王皓もちょっとこまっていましたね

    いいところだと思います

  • Yeah. Those were nice serves.

  • I like powelful penhold player like Yoshida.

His backhand is better than before!!

  • 4:10

    wtf

  • LOL!

  • Yoshida played well in the tournament, and he is using Chinese Penhold. BUT, if Ryu Seung Min or Zhang Chao were there, you never know the outcome~

  • Chinese traitor kinda duplicated Wang Hao's serves

  • yoshida's a traitor? o.o

  • ya. he's a chinese. changed his name in order to play for japan.

  • lol wang hao knows. as soon as he saw yoshida use backhand topspin with jp penhold like that, he started doing 15-30 degree alternates on yoshida's bh corner. the recovery time for swinging out like that on the jp penhold is longer. ez pts for wang hao like that :)

  • destroyed

  • kaii's backhand are crazy...

as powerful as kim taek soo

  • Yoshida Kaii new serve like wang hao and Liu Guoliang serve ..

but i think wang hao serve is more powerful!!!

  • Wow, the traditional backhand at 1:53 was the best one I've ever seen, followed up with one of the best sidespin forehands as well. Amazing.

  • Yeh, Yoshida should've gotten that point!

  • yoshida was overall pretty impressive in this tournament

  • is that the commentator from badminton?

  • this commentator is just those general guys who commentates most sports. I heard him commentate rugby union

  • Nice but semifinal much better :)

  • the point at 1:44 :D:D

  • I loved it how the commentator said "ready for this one?" right as he hit that bh lol

  • Love the comment^^

  • So the Chinese "big 4" (Wang Hao, Wang Liqin, Ma Long & Ma Lin) dominated again, making it through to the semi-finals. It's a shame there were no upsets, but to quote Micheal Maze "a lot of players (such as Kenta Matsudaira) come close, but the Chinese always win in the end."

  • 1:45 is good

  • i love wang hao's backhand, he uses rpb for attack and block

  • nice quality, thx for all wttc vids

  • Omg.

Where do you get such good quality?!?!

    and the 16:9 ratio?! omg!

    thanks so much

  • Thank you for uploading!

  • Absolutely lovely counter smash by kali at 1:44. It was even with his traditional penhold backhand.. pretty rare
