I've seen quite a few double headed Metra trains on the Rock Island line before, bu they are nowhere near as common now thanks to the arrival of the MP36's...

Wasn't that a bit unusual seeing a Metra commuter train pushed by TWO locomotives?

I've never seen that before.

Maybe an extra locomotive was being taken in for maintenance?

Also, in that night shot of the freight, that locomotive sounded really ragged.

Is that normal, or was something not working right?

Anyway, I enjoyed seeing all those.
