I have on of those!! Its a Sansui reverb amp. My Dad bought it on his way home from Vietnam in Japan. Around 1973 or so. I used to mess with it when he wasn't looking.

they are not as articulate as a REAL spring reverb unit, but it gives a good enviorment sound.

i believe it was used as a home console to make music or tv sound better.

This is one of the reasons I like MTB. They give us a little bit of stuff to hold us over, but enough so when we get the actual song, we are pleasantly surprised with vocals added. It's like the icing on the already delicious unfrosted cake.
