Children : you have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten us. look inside yourself.. you are more than what you have become.

Disney :how can i go back!? im not who i used to be...

Children: remember who you are... you are our childhood...and the true animators.

  • I'm sure alot of people would want to have another conversation with a deceased loved one like this.

  • i bought the dvd a few days ago..this is my fave part but it looks like they removed the part from 1.14-1.20 :\ ill have to watch it again to be sure

    Simba: wai.... what??? o.O

  • @crystelwolf Its not an instrumental of any song you fool it's an original soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer, and one of the best soundtracks of all time

  • Best Part in the movie

  • our ancestors DO live inside of us. Everytime i watch this that's what i always find myself thinking about, heritage and family is such an amazing thing. :)

  • Mufasa: Simba, I am your father

  • I lost my father two months ago, even tho this was my childhood favorite cartoon, I still cry everytime I see this.

  • i still cry at this yana and im 18 :')

  • I wish Mufasa was my father . Instead of my dead-beat dad .

  • Ooooohhhhh!!!!!!I just had inspiration for a scene in one of my books! It's gonna be so beautiful and so sad!!!

    I cried while I watched this! :'(

  • whats the song while theyre talking?

  • @lacenniggz I think its a instrumental version of the song "Shadowland". =)

  • Damn, James Earl Jones' voice belongs in the sky. I imagine this is what God's voice would sound like.

  • ow man!! this reminds me of my childhood! I had so good moments playing the video game of Lion King in school, wish i could go back :P

  • I swear this is one of the most touching moments in this movie

  • I saw it for a first time in 1996, when I was 6 years old. now when I'm almost 20, it's still one of the most powerfull and moving scenes in cinema ever for me.

  • This was just like watching a triple rainbow!!

  • epic scene!

  • remember who you are!

  • mufasa:simba you have forgotten me...

    simba: no how could i!?

mufasa: you have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten me."

simba:how can i go back!? im not who i used to be...

mufasa:remember who you are... you are my son...

  • @cieraj2 wish i spoke to my parents like simba did...miss them

  • THE MUSIC IS SO AWESOME!!!

  • Simba, I am your father!

  • This will always be my #1 favourite movie of all time.

  • still get goosebumps wen i hear mufasas voice... "remember who you are..." way to emotional for it to be aimed at just only kids..

  • @rudez101 That's what made movies like this so great. It told kids that they needed to face up to their mistakes and not run from them. Adults too :)

  • background music is tiiiight.

anyone know if there's a track without talking lions. Just the music? like an orchestra covering it or somethin.

  • @Joshuamarc8 yeah youtube up "This Land Lion king soundtrack" and there is also a little in "Under the Stars" from the same soundtrack haha

  • Emotional for a kids film. More touching then even a human film. I can cry at this with pride.

  • Is it sad that i have the instrumental to this bit on my mp3?

  • not in the least bit. this score is incredible

  • why thank you, i think so too

If you want it, it is called "This Land" Hans Zimmer
