  • Can someone please explain what the point was of capturing Blade *before* he'd finished off Nomak?

The Vampire Nation set up this entire scheme with Whistler, Scud, etc, just so the Blood Pack could clean the Reapers out of the sewers, without killing the source of them? WHAT FOR???

  • @Ogiv way better than sparkling skin

  • does anyone knows what is title of music in background... No soundtrack nor scor is mentioned anywhere for this music !

  • i didnt know vampires know kung fu

  • @utubeazn123 once they bite you, you automatically know it...

  • Are they seriously arguing about this? This is a superhero movie about VAMPIRES! Why question the awesomeness? Sit back and ENJOY!

  • Eat your heart out Edward.

In English: I think Blade II is the best movie of the trilogy. Nomak is one of the best characters, which is because he is on of the bad guys, but at the same time he's not really evil. Also, he is strangely sympathic.

  • not as good as the first one

  • @zatoichiyojimbo24 I beg to differ. Blade 2 was superior in almost every way. Guillermo Del Torro's direction was spot on and the action scenes were 3 times better than in the original. Now granted, I loved the first Blade Film, but this one came outta nowhere and karate kicked my ass and it was awesome. Lets not mention that other abomination.

  • @FURognar Dude you're right and if you listen to Del Toro's commentary the influence for this film was comics and anime. And he spot on nailed it! This is a live action comic. Or live action anime. I feel when people talk about comic book movies the film is often overlooked, but it's really one of the best.

  • 0:25 - I have GOT to learn how to do that.

  • they fight like ninjas

  • *-* me loves nomak the most in this movie especial the fight scenes r so damn impressive

and the 2nd was the rly best movie of them all =O

  • danke fürs reinstellen hammer film aber die musik nachdem blade im das mittel verpasst hatt Die passt voll nich wo die da runter fallen xD

  • Nomak didn't really use martial arts from what I saw. In either fight. He mostly just fights like a normal person with some streetfighting experience who has been given superhuman strength.

  • @A86 get your eyes checked, maybe your brain too.

jumping kicks, spinning backfist, sweeps etc??? Have your medication adjusted

  • @jaikaransingh - That's not real martial arts. Pretty much anyone can do the moves Nomak did in the movie if they have superhuman strength and a superhuman sense of balance, which he naturally would as a vampire. People do spinning kicks (which, contrary to popular belief, are NOT a big martial arts move) in street fights. About the most martial artsy move Nomak did was a sweep which you can figure out just from streetfighting with no martial arts classes needed.

  • @A86 What do you mean not 'real" martial arts? its a movie! the fight chor that goes into all these movements are based on action and various samplw element FROM martial arts. What ppl do you know do spinning kicks in real fights?!? and yes he its blade who is portrayed as an expert in MA. but the fight chor (whom is trained as a martial artist along with snipes) coached out all the moves based on the character. What are you thinking ...Jet li? cmon man its an action movie with martial elements

  • @jaikaransingh - I'm sure there was some Movie-Fu (what actual martial artists call "martial arts" shown in most Hollywood action films) involved with Nomak's choreography but it doesn't look they were trying to make him look like a martial artist on Blade's level. It was even more apparent in his second fight with Blade. Nomak largely overwhelms Blade with sheer superior physical force most of the time while Blade holds his own with martial arts defense skills.

  • @A86 Ah ok. not trying to be rude, and yes your last comment was spot on,but you dont speak as a martial artist nor do you sound like you have stunt/fight chor experience. Also sound like you dont have to much fighting experience to say ppl do spin kicks on the street

  • @jaikaransingh - Well, I took a little martial arts a kid but no, I'm not an expert. Nor am I stunt/fight choreographer. :) From what I do about the arts I know that most of Nomak's moves aren't really martial arts per se. Blade's moves are largely definitive martial arts moves. I've gotten into some street fights and I've seen desperate guys try to do that spin kick stuff they see Chuck Norris and JCVD do in movies. It almost never works in real life for amateurs.

  • @A86 yes youre right about the difference between them.

you cant compare foolish amateurs, that like apples and oranges. besides thats high risk and an unnecessay one at that to do on the street

  • @jaikaransingh - I wasn't trying to put you or Nomak down either. I was just saying I think the directors didn't want Nomak to seem like an expert like Blade. Blade is supposed to be an expert martial artist while Nomak seems to fight mostly on instinct and throwing around his superior strength. The few martial arts-like moves he does employ seem like him simply adapting to Blade's fighting style on-the-fly rather than the executions of a knowing master like Blade.

  • @A86 no, youre right about that.

  • @A86 With the effects of a the Reaper virus it wouldnt be hard at all for Nomak to watch something and learn it quicker, even physical skills such as martial arts. Like the marvel comics character "The Taskmaster" who has "photgraphic reflexes". Which is the ability to duplicate someones physical prowess simply by watching them.

  • @jaikaransingh - And no, spinning kicks are not a major move in most Asian martial arts. They're actually largely a Western phenomenon. Because Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme, who know martial arts in their movies (and Norris being an actual martial artist), make a big production out of making spinning kicks their flashy finishing move a lot of Western audiences wrongly assumed they were a martial arts practice.

It looks cool but most martial artists rarely, if ever, employ it.

  • @A86 spin kicks are not a major move? whats a "major move " in your opinion? your wording is confusing.

oh and van damme is also a martial artist- he was classically trained in a real style by masters who had also classic education. Look into it instead of spreading nonsence and implications. Asian MA rarely employ it? sorry man you need more study and exposure. Have even been east? im cant debate if your stuck on half truths and falsities. but i can educate you, in all humbleness.

  • @jaikaransingh - By "major move" I meant an integral movement in a kata. There aren't many katas that involve spin kicks in traditional Asian martial arts that I've heard of. Most of the spin kicks I've seen are employed by Western kickboxers, BJJ artists, Sambo, Krav Maga and Capoeira users. Maybe in a couple of katas in Kyoushin Karate and Tae Kwon Do.

You sound like you probably know more about the martial arts than I do though.

  • @A86 oh ok. but kata isnt real fighting, not even for sport fighting.and in Asian MA, for example kung fu, there are styles based mostly on the circle as opposed to the straight line. As for TWD, yep your right about the lack on spins in comparision to the to other movements in kata- but in tourneys all over the world, that quite the opposite.

Also kata (traditional)is no good for movies. thats not what most pay to see.

  • @jaikaransingh - And I think that was the point. Blade is a trained fighter/killer whereas Nomak is being portrayed as an unfortunate soul with juiced-up vampire abilities. Not a trained fighter-killer like Blade and the Bloodpack.

  • I would'nt mind playing a young Blade in a persequal. I'm 26 so I could always play a Blade in his late teens or early 20's. Guess it could take place in the 80's.

  • 0.38 putt'n a little english on it.

  • LOL NOMAK KNOWS KUNG FU

  • @RainOnHOez In fact, the guy who played Nomak was also Prince Nuada in Hellboy 2 :)

  • @NeveranticStory i thought they sounded firmilar, also is it just convinince he kills his father in both movies

  • no offence but i love this more than trinity cause drake really didnt do much i mean there wasnt a tension unlike this one lol

  • yea the secen is the bast

  • theres no way blade could beat nomak....that's prolly why their final fight showed some pretty insane ass-woopin...but then their couldnt be a blade trinity piece of garbage, so u know...

  • @razorbladekissss yea thats probably why Nomak started running? Blade mops the floor with him.

  • @AngerFueld nomak runs at the end of this fight cause the sun comes up. nomak kicks blades ass in the final fight but then blade gets lucky and stabs him

  • @LoboFan1000 yeah blade had to perpare for this fight. Lets hope there's never a half human half nomak. Now that would be scary.

  • @tigerboyX part human, part nomak (reaper), part deacon frost when he's powered up, part monster dracula. THAT WOULD BE SCARY

  • @LoboFan1000 yeah it would be. The Dracula in that movie was a daywalker just like blade plus he could turn into that monster from which was really strong.

  • this is what vampires should be like and NOT like the pussies in twilight..even the werewolfs in that film sucked

  • the first movie opening scene was awesome

  • lol nomak gave blade the twirk at the end

  • whoohoo go luke goss! love him in action and creature looks. xD

  • Man, Blade sounds badass in German.

  • aww... why not the full fight?! nomak is possibly the most beast bad guy of all time. im mean seriously. but u guys are right.. blade trinity was kinda weak. i mean, it had its moments.. but for the most part, it was garbage. i even heard rumors that wesley snipes hated the third flick too. and HE wanted to do a fourth with just blade and no nightstalkers. said he wanted to redeem himself after the 3rd film.. but then he went to jail. lol so i donno whats goin on nao..?

  • After blade 2, it's like the people who continued Blade took a dump on the storyline and used it as toiletpaper then put it on the big screen for all to see.

  • Love the fight scene.

  • I adore Blade 2 - much interesting storyline, more action, better acting comparing to the 1st movie. 1st Blade movie was very boring while Blade 2 was fantastic.

Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Ron Perlman and especially Leonor Varela were brilliant.

  • Ditto friend, ditto.

  • @AlexBlend Don't forget Luke Goss (Nomak)

  • you say fuck german language ..im from germany so i can say fuck englisch language the most videos are in englisch and this sucks 4real -.-

  • Stupid Germans, lal. Who would want to watch a dubbed movie?

  • Think about it, honey. Maybe germans theirself?

  • Well, it kinda ruins the whole film, I just can't get it in my head that someone would actually prefer dubbing before the original voices.

    Dubbing are for kids, period.

I can understand if people aren't very good at English by numerous reasons, but there are subtitles.

  • Subtitles just make you concentrate to the text - you can read them easily aslong as the spoken text is nothing more than a stupid one-liner. What I am trying to explain is: You can't really follow the story line while reading those stupid subtitles :) . As long as the spoken text is the same and the voices are identical to the original, I can't really see the point why we should renounce the dubbing of a good movie. :) Aren't there any dubbed movies / soaps in Sweden?

  • There are no dubbed films/shows at all, except some cartoon movies.

But most of the swedes don't use subtitles either because we're grown up with speaking English as a second language, as a result, the younger generation speaks fluent English and we watch the movies as intended by the director. Original voices and no subs.

  • the german suits Nomak just not Blade LOL

  • "fucking german language " yeaahh :D

  • this fight acctualy is a lot longer than this!!!

  • once you're a vampire, you are a martial arts expert

  • @Ogiv

Haha....my mom always thought it was funny that everyone knew kung fu in these movies.

    I love these movies.

  • the guy who plays nomak plays the bad guy in the new hellboy

  • btw, all fans of blade plz join my group dedicated to blade.

    youtubeDOTcom/group/daywalker

  • he sounds so kewl in watever lang this is

  • love it, the end is a little bit better lol

  • Blade VS Nomak was the best fights i've seen in an action movie.

  • This was the best Blade movie!

  • DAMN U DONT EVEN GET TO SEE THE PART WHERE HE GOES ALL AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH and then muahahahaha

  • Blade is always goos for those days when you feel like a total misfit. i mean, blade didnt fit in and look how he kicks vampire ass!

  • all thanks to Donnie Yen who was the fight choreographer for this movie^^

  • Naughty, thats not the end of the fight make the full version

  • Too many dumb ass sound effects. This isn't Mortal Kombat.

  • The Voices suck ass crumbs

  • does anyone know the song they used in this fight, i have been wanting to find it for many years please help

  • ive been trying to find this song also, any luck with it yet?
