Journey has had more immediate success with album sales now than they did with Perry. Only trial by Fire made it to the top five on the charts the first week of release while Revelation and Eclipse both made it top five the first week of release.
I don't know if its the old video or Perry's rendition of the song live, but his vocals were extremely choppy and quick to not hold notes.
Man I wish he would do a small tour so I could see him live.
If you guys look....I never noticed it before (years ago). Thats Randy Jackson in purple from american idol. He actually played with them on raised on radio tour...pretty cool.
Thank you for this I have not seen this song live before and it is so hard to find live journey or steve. It looks better then most of the bootleg ftlosm tour stuff and no one says anything about that look. Keep it up if you have more post it. People should say thank you and thats all. If you out there have better post it put up or shut up.
@jessleigh12 To me, Perry's the greatest rock singer ever, anywhere, and I personally think he's a great performer and stage presence....Sexy, engaging, perfect pitch in his day....just the whole package. Just my opinion and everybody is entitled to one.
@jessleigh12 Steve Perry is obviously the best in Journey regardless of how anyone places him in the world as a singer. What did they achieve before he joined the band and what have they achieved since he has no longer been lead singer or writer/co-writer of their songs compared to what they achieved with him? As Steve Perry himself sings in ''After the Fall''.....''No not much no,''
