  • Outstanding!

  • Fantastic Video.

  • This is such a wonderful video. You used some great clips.

  • From which episode is the clip in 0:01 from?

  • @brianlai22 Good Shephard 6X20

  • I hear you guys, very motherlike!

  • Kate Mulgrew was well cast as Captain Janeway.

  • and this is why Janeway is 10x better than Kirk

  • @TheChoujinVirus You know, it's funny--I think Kirk and Janeway are the most alike out of all the Starfleet Captains. They both do their own thing, break the rules when they know that following them is wrong, and don't let anyone fuck with their crew or ship. And woe betide you if you cross either of them! (Well..maybe that last one is just Janeway...hehehehehee, she does rock.)

  • @Fuleadeare

true, but unlike Kirk, Janeway doesn't sleep with every being in the galaxy

  • @Fuleadeare

I have always thought the same thing. Kirk and Janeway are quite a lot alike.

  • This is a very beautiful video! A wonderful tribute to Star Trek's leading lady!

  • gay song, great captain

  • I know shes super strong and this vid is super awsome!!

  • @FullmetalAlchemist78 Glad you like !!

  • awesome quality :)

  • haha these are some of the best scenes...you know its bad when i can recall the script just by the setting and lipsyncing lol

  • Just a wonderful vid. This is what I cherish about Voyager and Janeway, how strong she is.

  • What song is this?

  • @chayar1991

same here i would like to kown at two and who does this?

  • @tigardgirl2007 and @chayar1991 "How Strong Do You Think I Am" By Alexz Johnson

  • great video i love it!! can you tell me what episodes are on 1.43 and 3:25 please!! Great job!!

  • thx for the fb. Glad you like it. 1:43 is from Virtuoso (S6) and 3:25 is from Imprefection (S7) :)

  • Great Vid!!!

  • thanx for the fb Mullally. Glad you like!

  • Obviously not strong enough to resist her obvious lesbianism

  • Comment removed

  • Emond900 - why resist?

  • Cos i don't think Tuvok would respect her anymore. Neither would Chakotay and i reckon Tom would become very possesive of B'Ellana because did you see the way Janeway and her used to fizzle with sexuall energy. It was kinetic like. But personally i don't think she should resist, it leads to constipation and haemorroids.

  • Emond900 - Tuvok would respect anyone following her true nature, even as he has chosen to sublimate his emotions as is the Vulcan way. I don't think Katherine Janeway would truthfully give a rat's ass about Chakotay's *respect*, he made it clear in numerous situations that he doesn't *respect* her anyway - although he says the words, he doesn't walk the talk. And don't get me started on Tom - would she even want the respect of a bloke whose greatest achievement is getting the Chief Engineer?

  • Hahaha. True, true. Alright i'm going to change my comment to, "she is truly strong enough to give in to her obvious lesbianism." Much better. Although in Tom's defence, he has gone on to direct numerous episodes of Chuck and other popular teen shows.

  • As has B'Elanna (Roxann Dawson) become a director and producer. Some of my current fave TV shows have her imprint - Lost, The Closer, and Cold Case.

  • cool video!!

  • I love Janeway!! Video is awsome

and keke...i am still hoping for one 2!

  • Janeway ROCKS!~ :) great vid!

(It's an empty hope, but still wishing for a Voyager movie.... :/)

  • I am wishing with, keep the faith, you never know when they might announce it.

  • love her so much, so cool

    janeway&chakotay 4 eva

  • she is very strong :)

  • I love it

  • Wonderful I love it! And I agree about her being the strongest lady in starfleet...x

  • Thanks for the fb. Janeway *is* one tough cookie. :)

  • Great Vid. Perfect Song for the toughest Lady in Starfleet (and the sexiest!)

  • Glad you enjoyed it Thanks for the fb.

  • Hmm... I see how age can vary greatly. However, I would say that Riker is well adjusted and Geordi is simple a little outcast because of his sight. Paris is the one who plays Captain Proton and it never seemed like there was ANY tension between Chikotay and Tuvok until that one episode where Chikotay came out and announced it to Tuvok. TNG, I think, does a much better job with the neuances of sociology and sophisticated humor.

  • Really liked this video. Thanks for posting!

  • Glad you liked :) thanks for the fb.

  • No offense taken, differences of opinions are wonderful. But I reckon that Janeway got promoted when she was fairly young (38/39) by captain's standards because she was an outstanding officer. Starfleet don't sling anyone into captain's chairs, they've got to have a brain in their heads. Janeway and Picard both have gravitas, they both have different merits. She's a trained officer, otherwise she wouldn't be there. & Riker and LaForge are the biggest children of all characters, not the VOY crew.

  • also consider the factors; the uss enterprise is a ship which can hold more than 1000 people; voyager is one with 150. Also, the enterprise is never thrown into the situation voyager is in (getting home from the delta quadrant) so they naturally bond together as a family.

  • well, age considered, Kirk was a little over 30 when he made captain.

  • Good point. 30, 31 right? A different era of Starfleet, but they seem to take experience and talent into account as well as length of service and age. We can assume that all the leading character captains in Star Trek proved themselves to be leaders and very adept as younger officers, regardless or not whether you like a particular character or not. Personal opinion doesn't reflect on their skills. Kirk was a fairly young captain as was Janeway, I presume as a result of meritorious service.

  • I enjoy the intelligent debate going on here. Thanks for that--and yes USS Janeway is correct, "differences of opinion are wonderful".

  • @Venaloid In agreement with USS Janeway no offience taken ^_^, the reason the writing became what it did was because the target audience changed because the genration changed. still wanting to hit the same audience but they had to also grab other attention. and janeway was born in 2332/2334 so she would have been about 39/37 when she got ranked up to captain

    ^_^

  • OMGSH Amazing video with kate mulgrew!!!

    Thanks soo much!

  • Thank YOU for the fb and comment. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • oh my god she is the most amazing person in the galaxy let alone voyager.

  • I totally agree! ;) Thanx for commenting.

  • omg...I love this video. Great song for Janeway. Loved it! <3

  • :) glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!

  • Wow :O Really good video :O And really good song you did a wonderfull job ;)

  • Thanks very much. I appreciate the fb. :)

  • This is brilliant! Go Janeway! I know this isn't in this video, but does any1 know what the episdoe was when Janeway gets part of her hair cut by Kim and B'Elann? She's got her head on a rock at the time if that helps!!!

  • pretty sure its from Basics-I think it's part 2 which is the first episode of season 4. The kazon take voyager and strand the crew on a planet. they need the womens hair to get a fire started.

  • Great! Thanks!!

  • :) A convert! Wahoo! Seriously, thanx for the fb. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • :D I wouldn't go as far to say I am a convert! Just someone who appreciated your good work!

  • oh man! this is a great video and tribute to Janeway! I love this song - its perfect for her and the clips you chose were awesome. thanks and keep it up.

  • thanks very much for the fb and encouragement! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Do you now what episode was 2:04?

  • Year of Hell Part 2

  • I absolutely LOVE this. The song really does suit Janeway and fit her personality, and the clips you chose were great for the song. Great work! Five stars, and a favorite!

  • Thanks for the love, the fb and fave! I'm truly glad you enjoyed it

  • I think this song suits her pretty well, good job! I love Janeway, she's always been my favorite.

  • Thanks for the fb! Glad you liked :)

  • Very well done..loved it..Some of my favorite clips were in their. When Be'lana hugs her and when she is talking to the consuel.

  • Thanx! I'm glad you loved it and I appreciate the feedback.

  • i think you did a great job at capturing the different ways janeway acts around people, the ways she uses her authority as well as her personality in relationships. especially liked the reconciliation scenes at the end, and the "lookin b'elanna in the eye" scene fairly early on. :-) thanks!

  • hi :-) thanks for commenting!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. (I kinda dig the torres scene too) ;-)

  • That was great!! Truly enjoyed it. Such a good match up!!

  • Thank you. I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

  • i love it. never heard of the singer before but this is a lovely song.

  • Thanks much for the fb. I kind of stumbled upon the song, but generally speaking Alexz Johnson's work is pretty good. Glad you enjoyed the vid.

  • Great vid! I'm impressed with how well you managed to use what is basically a love song for a non-romantic vid. I love that line about rock, rose, and fist. The song is great for Janeway. And my answer is that she's as strong as she has to be, that she's a rock and a fist as necessary even as she's akin to a rose or a breath after a kiss in terms of human vunerability. *grin*

  • Thanks! Ya know, I started this as a pairing video (because it is a love song) but as I put it together, it screamed to be more of a J/Crew, J/Voyager video (don't know why but glad you think it worked) :). And, I'm diggin' your answer--it's spot on!

  • That was really cool!!! And very fitting for Janeway! Very well done!

  • *Fixed my reply mess-up* Thanks (again) Sczep, glad you like it!
