Seriously you had to be there to experience what it was like,1000k of pure bass, almost pitch black but for the strobe lights and lazers,clothes so wet with sweat that all the females looked liked they were in a wet T-Shirt contest, wearing huge stupid Versace glasses to hide your dilated pupils and wide eyes,drinking 50 gallons of water while masking up the spliff,watching the totaly buzzing ones giving it some crazy legs by the speakers,dancing from midnight till midday, and everyone was happy

@Destroyerofthebeast i was there mate, used to always arrive about 12pm and make my way past the garage part downstairs and head upstairs to the main arena, as soon as you went in it was fucking electric, the whole place was buzzing and everyone was bouncing, the best days of my raveing life were spent at the paradise club, sadly they have knocked it down and replaced it with some flats, massive respect to all the paradise crew, R.I.P princess i will never forget the years we shared there..

R.I.P Stevie Hyper Deeee!!...... ohhhh gosh. Is it a bird.... is it a plane.... no it's Hyper on the train...... miss the 90s. Best years of my life. Sadly, the millenium was the birth of a downward spiral for me. It is only now, after 10 yrs of my life wasted, coming back round, able to laugh again.!!! Fav venue? Helter Skelter Sanctury.. 4 arena's, two each side, and some silly rides nobody bothered going on.... too mashed!! Never forget chattn wiv 2x lads all the way from Glasgow, Scotland.

Modern day DnB is just stale. Shallow.. no depth to it. Just tinny snares, repetitive breaks. Done to death. I MC'd to Hardcore/Jungle from '92 - '09. Two years back I switched to Dubstep. More diversity.. DnB, sadly.. has just grown tired. I remember sitting on the stage at AWOL Paradise Club next to Stevie Hyper D, when Andy C played.. was amazing.

used to do orange fri night at the palace then down to awol until 10 , then kane it all day and go back in the pm for awol!!

with out a doubt the best night in london, superb!!!!

When Stens @ Interdance in Worthing lost it's all-night license it used to be a case of go there until around 2am, then all pile in the car and steam up to London for the last sets at AWOL, especially Mickey Finn. This was before Gatso cameras - hehehe.

AWOL was absolutely wicked, GQ and Fearless on the mic with an all star cast of DJs - there're great box sets out there, but this was probably the best live Jungle recording ever put on CD.
