There are so many issues with Bethesda's Fallout/Elder Scrolls games on the Playstation 3. glitched, laggy, freezing up. But I don't have an Xbox or a pc powerful enough. why? just complicated technical stuff? :(

Skyrim is so good that I give it 10/10(even though I would not normally give 100%) and need to downgrade other games rank that have had more than 7/10 to 7/10. This game is by far the best game I have ever played. The only thing that is not good is the interface(I blame the darn consoles). Does anyone know of a good mod that uses the advantages of a keyboard?
I don't know about radiant story... I feel like it's there but is rarely used at all. Doesn't feel like radiant story is the backbone of how all quests are made.

A lot of things that could have been made better by Bethesda were either simply ignored, or not improved upon. The interface was definitely made with consoles in mind, and badly ported over to the PC. The PC interface is awkward and non intuitive. I heard that they might release a patch fixing it, but who knows. You're a COD faggot.

I just finished watching another skrim trailer (there are many different ones on machima, i recommend wastching them all) and it said skryim is the same size as oblivion, but is waaaaay bigger in terms of things inbetween and stuff :)
I don't want to think about how buggy Skyrim is going to be upon its release. :| Hopefully, internal testing was more thorough and extensive than in Bethesda's previous titles.

Nice presentation, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you about New Vegas not being made by Betheseda. If you look at the bottom right corner of the front of the case you can clearly see the Betheseda logo, just like on the Oblivion case.
It doesn't matter if you agree or not, Bethesda didn't make FO:NV they only published it. That means they got the game onto the store shelf, noting more. Bethesda owns the fallout franchise, so it's only natural their name would be on the box.
The devil is the in the details. "Bethesda Softworks" was involved, but "Bethesda game studios" was not. And there is quite a difference between those two branches of the company.

You know, I'm not one to favor one game over another for a single attribute, but Skyrim will have something that makes me want it if not only for that reason...IT HAS DRAGONS! It's a shame that He couldn't show some of the gameplay, cause it looks really impressive. Also, you will now be able to establish relationships with NPC's making you feel more like an actually part of the universe, rather than a magic marker fixing every detail in a messed up world.

Only one game to date has had space issues with Bluray, and that was MGS4. Bluray is a 50g+ storage medium, no problems will pop up on this console generation for sure. If anything you should be fretting over the PC and Xbox DVD limitations before you ever bring up the blu.
Friend if you think that Bluray has anything to do with how well a game runs, then it's clear you know nothing about how computers and consoles process games.

@Whatever4690 well its tuff to explain, a couple things I could say is half the npcs can even talk, vegas is the size a a 7 eleven, only 3 types of casino games, dont start off in a vault, story sucks, you cant play after beating the game. That's because archery is much more effective now. Instead of having to pump thirty arrows into a foe you can down them with a properly placed sneak attack.
Simply put you have to shoot fewer arrows now because they are more powerful.
Morrowind - Pinnacle of Open World RPG's, of the whole Elder Scroll series..
Oblivion - Nice Graphics and all but story line has declined, not as much lore as I would have liked.. Sought of a bad game for die hard fans like me
Skyrim - Could be a redeeming game but I am not holding my breath from what I saw with Oblivion and the DLC's. Looks like just another high end graphics game, with the fact that Fallout was pretty bad compared to their originals... so eh..

@1000123blair Enemies arrows will most likely be as strong as yours, but when you think about it if you came across an enemy who was using exactly the same equipment as you to try and kill you, you'd always win the fight, so it probably wouldn't make a difference. Also judging by the way they've highly publicised dragons as completely random encounters they'll most likely replace the role of gates, as oblivion was orientated around the gates and the realm, skyrim is based around the dragons

@iiJaydeex LOL my friend you are behind. Arrows are more powerful, but takes more time to shoot. Headshots are allowed. Instant kill if the enemy is not wearing any kind of head protection. Bethesda designed the Bow and Arrow to act more like a Sniper, SLOWandPowerful, rather then a 9mm pistol, FASTbutLOWDAMAGE. you need to get updated buddy.

morrowind was way bigger than Oblivion. I always walk, so that I realy feel like I'm in the game...
And in morrowind it takes more time to get from one side to the other.
(thats not because of the big mountain in the middle)
Oblivion is more beautifull, and easier to play.
I have very high hopes for skyrim, but I am afraid that it will be just as small as Oblivion.

Only one game to date has had space issues with Bluray, and that was MGS4. Bluray is a 50g+ storage medium, no problems will pop up on this console generation for sure. If anything you should be fretting over the PC and Xbox DVD limitations before you ever bring up the blu.

@Whatever4690 well its tuff to explain, a couple things I could say is half the npcs can even talk, vegas is the size a a 7 eleven, only 3 types of casino games, dont start off in a vault, story sucks, you cant play after beating the game. Theres much more, just the feel of it up set me. In my opinion elder scrolls beats all. But that's just my opinion, you have the right to have your own to, just dont speak for everyone saying its everyone's favorite

That's because archery is much more effective now. Instead of having to pump thirty arrows into a foe you can down them with a properly placed sneak attack.
Simply put you have to shoot fewer arrows now because they are more powerful.

Morrowind - Pinnacle of Open World RPG's, of the whole Elder Scroll series..
Oblivion - Nice Graphics and all but story line has declined, not as much lore as I would have liked.. Sought of a bad game for die hard fans like me
Skyrim - Could be a redeeming game but I am not holding my breath from what I saw with Oblivion and the DLC's. Looks like just another high end graphics game, with the fact that Fallout was pretty bad compared to their originals... so eh..

@Linkthe1st Sorry, this is probably a stupid question, but does that also mean enemies arrows are stronger? And on the normal difficulties on both games, do you think Oblivion would be easier or harder then Skyrim? Out of curiosity, I know it’s not out, I just want to know your opinion. And one last thing, in Oblivion, in my opinion closing Oblivion gates was a tedious process that I dreaded, Do you think the slaying of dragons will replace that? I’m hoping so... If not, what will replace

@1000123blair Enemies arrows will most likely be as strong as yours, but when you think about it if you came across an enemy who was using exactly the same equipment as you to try and kill you, you'd always win the fight, so it probably wouldn't make a difference. Also judging by the way they've highly publicised dragons as completely random encounters they'll most likely replace the role of gates, as oblivion was orientated around the gates and the realm, skyrim is based around the dragons

@Linkthe1st- Not meaning to offend... but you did not talk about dragons sir... they are one of the biggest, both literally and metaphorically speaking, changes due to the complete use of radiant AI for their actions; ex: they will randomly appear and are unscripted... or was the lack of discussion due to lack of information at the time?

@iiJaydeex LOL my friend you are behind. Arrows are more powerful, but takes more time to shoot. Headshots are allowed. Instant kill if the enemy is not wearing any kind of head protection. Bethesda designed the Bow and Arrow to act more like a Sniper, SLOWandPowerful, rather then a 9mm pistol, FASTbutLOWDAMAGE. you need to get updated buddy.

Wow, this is great, so, I just have one qestion, I have to make sure, if Bethesda makes Fallout 4 (which I REALLY hope they do) then it will run on their new engine, the one Skyrim runs on, right?

@RussianAllmighty bethesda is probably going to make at least 1 more fallout game. (or perhaps they publish it if they dont really make it like fallout new vegas) i couldnt tell you for sure they would run it on their skyrim engine, but its likely they do that if they make another fallout game. but lets enjoy skyrim for the coming 3 years, shall we :)

@greshxxxx why would you want that? weve had morrowind, cyrodill, hamerfall, and also summerset isle for what its worth ( i could have missed something there), now its the turn for skyrim. just be patient, this is going to be one of the best games ever made since oblivion. btw, tamriel is the whole continent of the elder scrolls, you cant expect bethesda to make the biggest game humanity has ever seen in a new written engine in just 3 years...
