This is without a doubt beautiful music, but I think there is a point when the body of the performer can become TOO expressive and borderline inappropriate with all those distracting motions. I understand the principal oboe is giving the tempo, but they're all professionals. Do they really need him dancing in his chair like that? I get it, they're enjoying themselves, but it almost seems pretentious.
Besides this being an amazing performance by great musicians, what I like about it the most is that they're obviously really really enjoying themselves & really communicating on a musical level. A great example of chamber playing
