@8MunchenBayern8 there is a rule against hitting the backboard. but this wouldnt fall into that rule because he didnt hit the backboard out of flash he hit it in an attempt to either block the ball or not injure himself. kinda like if you hang on the rim after a dunk? you can only hang in an effort to not hurt yourself but if you hang for flash its a technical foul. still maybe the backboard sprung the ball more than it normally would and made the shot miss. i dont know what id do as a ref

@8MunchenBayern8 there is a rule against hitting the backboard. but this wouldnt fall into that rule because he didnt hit the backboard out of flash he hit it in an attempt to either block the ball or not injure himself. kinda like if you hang on the rim after a dunk? you can only hang in an effort to not hurt yourself but if you hang for flash its a technical foul. still maybe the backboard sprung the ball more than it normally would and made the shot miss. i dont know what id do as a ref

A.i slasher sucked at shooting, t-mac slasher sucked after he relied on his jumpshot, vince good three point shooter but sucked cause he never improved, and kobe able to slash and shoot from anywhere when it counted. Shaq is the most overated center ever why? This is his game plan= stand near rim dunk ball when get it..... Then if fouled hit 50% of free throw......

Even with the no.1 offensive squad (e.g. Penny, Grant, Scott, Anderson), Shaq got swept in the Finals. "he had 3 40+ games" 2 of which were due to Jersey's SINGLE COVERAGE of him in games 1&2 in the '02 Finals. Or did you not even watch them? "Shaq got beat up on??" When did I say that? Learn to read. I said Shaq beat up on weaker competition (Jason Collins? Todd MacCulloch?).

@WiltisGod He got to the Finals with a GREAT supporting cast. The entire starting five: Shaq (29.3ppg), Penny (20.9ppg), Anderson (15.8ppg), Scott (12.9ppg) Grant (12.9ppg, 9.7 rebs). Did Kobe have anything like THAT from 2005-2007? No. He got Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, Chris Mihm, Brian Cook, etc. One man can't get past the first round (even Jordan!). Rasheed Wallace wasn't guarding Shaq, Sabonis was lol. Divac? LMAO! Pollard? ROFLMAO! Mutombo was 35 years old and 60LBS lighter than Shaq.

@WiltisGod He had Lamar when he was inconsistent (up until 2011). Look at his PER from Miami til last season for proof. He didn't have Jackson for '05 (didn't make the playoffs) and Jackson's not use to winning with only one star (i.e. he ALWAYS had the best squads in the league). Kobe got swept by the NBA champs, like MJ, Shaq, and others have. And AI got the Finals in the WEAKER East (JV) conference. And look at Divac's production compared to Shaq. You bet I'm gonna laugh at that flopper.

WOOOW! nd at least they put up a fight, kobe could barely score more than 20 pts against the mavs, nd played NO defense on terry. nd NOBODY could compare to shaq in the early 2000's. he was obviously the leader of the lakers. proof is tht he got all 3 of the finals mvps. kobe was just a replaceable help while shaq did most the work.

Kobe's '06-07 teams were god-awful. They made it to the playoffs solely on him leading the league in scoring. "while shaq did most the work" o.O In '00 Shaq was All-Defensive 2nd Team; Kobe (21 yrs old!) was 1ST TEAM! What's that tell you? '01 Shaq gets 28.7ppg; Kobe got 28.5ppg and Kobe LED in playoff win shares.
