Not sure this is merely a re-mix - some of the lyrics are different as well. For example, "Greenpeace god knows they should do it." Originally "Greenpeace they've tried to diffuse it."
Huh! Somewhere I have the Laserdisc of this compilation album tucked away, but I've never even had the ability to see the video for the song myself! (It also has some weird ELO spin-off track on it as well!) - 1b2s
There is NO global warming, as a matter of fact the planet has actually COOLED a degree!!! Do the research there is aan agenda attatched to global warming and it is NOT for the benefit of the planet!!! Come on do you really think THIS government CARES about global warming? Just look at the agencies involved and put the puzzle together!!!
George would have dominated a Beatles album released in 1970 - McCARTNEY Junk, Maybe I'm Amazed, Every Night -LENNON Love, Look at me, Isolation, Hold On -HARRISON My Sweet Lord, Beware of Darkness, What is Life, Wah Wah, All things must pass, Let it down & Awaiting on you all.
Paul simply made the choice to avoid making Beatles music. John did, also. Many of the George's songs on All Things. were already rejected by John and Paul. If there would have been another Beatle album John and Paul would have dismissed them again and wrote Beatle music. Also, Pauls best songs of that era were Oh Woman, Oh Why ,Suicide, Goodbye among others. Furthermore John did not like All Things Must Pass say it was not his type of music. The only credit he gave was it was better than Paul's
George Martin paying attention to George Harrison would have created a third writing force. I think John's comments were contradictary even within the interview you make reference to. John felt threatened by All things must pass in my opinion. I concede on goodbye and suicide though - great songs
You are absolutely correct. That is not what I meant, or meant to imply. Paul had Teddy Boy and Junk among others. What I meant is Paul and John changed the way they approached music. They wanted to sound unique on their own. Paul said he purposely avoided writing like a Beatle. The "divorce" was painful so he did not want rehash the past at first. But yes they did use some previously rehearsed by the Beatles material. They all did. Have a good one. Ed

True, i think George would have taken over the Beatles albums, i bet "Flying Hour" .etc wouldn't have been left off a Beatles Record.

You're mistaken - John and Paul recorded many songs as solo artists that were rehearsed but never released by the Beatles as well.
