they're coming to sing at our chapel service at school 2morrow. im SO EXCITED to hear them sing (: they came a couple years ago, and their stories were really touching. i cant wait! <3
I just saw them today, & they were wonderful!!(: Their stories touched me so much!! Except, there are a different children in the choir now. There are kids from: Uganda, Nepal, & Philippines, in it now, only. Their names are: Zahara, Thomas, Jamira, Arnel, Evah, Aljane, Esther, Jackie, Aldrin, Marvin, Pashi, Zam, Ashish, Neybel, & Venus
Yes, these children are adorable; yet, I can't help but wonder where they're from, what their names are, what their stories are, and what they think of America now that they've been here.
I love seeing little children being ripped out of their cultural and linguistic contexts in order to sing and dance in a rich foreign land. Their lives will never be the same again; and I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or bad thing.
@gorder1 I traveled with this group and let me assure you this a life changing experience for all involved. It is a very positive thing for them, and they have no problem assimilating when they get home, I know because I took the Ugandan children home at the end of the tour. I suggest before you form opinions and make ignorant statements like this one, that you find out the facts.
@gorder1 PS: their names are Isaac, Eddie, Marvin, Florence N., Helen (Uganda) Priety, Florence T, Rose, Lalnemzo, Lalsansuok, Mulan, Gaidon (India) Debbie, Mars, Mark, Jamsy (Philippines), Would you like me to tell you what they all want to be when they grow up, or what their favorite thing to do is, or maybe their best friend they made while they were here in a another country. Or maybe I should tell you what their favorite part of being in america was...
these little kids are incredible. and they praise God with such passion in their hearts. the are talented. and these kids one day would minister there life to other people who are going thru the same thing and dont kno where to turn. Praise The Lord for these little kids when ever i watch this it makes me soooo happy. they came to my school and i would never forget that expirence i had it was amazing if i could see them in person again that would make me sooo happy. May God Bless them
that shows your true nature, why u condemn these beautifull children of God, that shows that you really need God in your life, if you can not even communicate like a normal human being,
God bless these beautifull childrens with his love strength and protection
I just got to see them perform at my church this morning and I was blessed greatly. They are so full of energy and love for God. If you get a chance to see them you will never regret it.
