Unfortunately it's onlu the far East Coast, and never vists major tracks (except for perhaps Laguna Seca, etc). I love MotoGP, but I don't think it will ever find much footing here in the states because the American media is too hung up on crap sports like Drag Racing and NASCAR.

they went to indy last year, and that had to do a lot of work to laguna seca because so many people came to watch. Moto gp is in America and it is popular, its just not mainstream. oh and laguna is in california-west coast.
