omg...i do everything he just said...I AM THE biggest lakers and kobe fan...i am at home after suffering punctured lungs and broken ribs in an car accident but while i was in the hospital all i did was watch espn and stayed up late so i could catch the redeem dream play. my nurses used to get really mad but that 4th quarter of the gold medal game helped me heal much faster due to the heroics of kobe and wade. Hey Elie, here's why I'm the biggest basketball fan. I have been collecting basketball cards since '92 but didn't really start following NBA until 96'. Because what happened in 96' was a movie called Space Jam. I was intrigued by the concept and ever since then I have been all about basketball. Growing up in LA it bball was always around me but once I hopped onboard I never looked back. It's hard to say it in words, but I love basketball is the most fitting. It's me and a part of who I am.

The Lakers historically have had the most bandwagon fans in the NBA. They've always had one of the quietest arenas in the playoffs. I think the Laker fan is also the most spoiled by success. There isn't any hype when the team gets to the playoffs. It's championship or bust.
