how many bugs did skyrim have on launch and even after 2 patches ppl are still finding bugs does that make it a bad game hell no , me2 is a great game
ok it may have bugs but it still teh best game i've ver played and u can't go there saying ME2 is bad becuase it is not, the story, the gameplay everything is awsome.
Just because you're actively TRYING to break the game, doesn't mean it's broken. I've experienced this myself, but my last playthrough I didn't experience this once, because I know not to troll the game in such a manner.
@TombMan12 actually id say a lot of them are game breaking like the PS3 lag i know thats just one console but damn also the quest for the thieve guild where u have to get the eye of the falmer was bugged for a lot of ppl and they could not finish it and were stuck on that questline so id say thats pretty gamebreaking
wow even though this has only happend to me 2 times in the total of over 50 hours played its a great game and if you want to complain about it only happening to you once you can suck a dick
this game has so few bugs, come on. i tried to play the witcher once on pc with the newest enhanced edition patch from 2011 or so and it crashed every fucking 5 minutes. and I do tried about 10 solutions to this problem written in boards and it doesn't helped a bit. I#m glad to have such a great game which is playable.
Mass Effect 2,like the first game, has an epic background,an original script, touching characters, well everything wich make him a epic game, but because there's bugs,it makes him bad....
I've encountered plenty of bugs in mass effect 2. usually I end up on top of some object, unable to get down after I was taking cover behind it. what did I do? I loaded the auto save (which saves very often.) and redid that section. I also don't have great specs with my computer, so the game lags alot. but that doesn't mean it isn't one of the GREATEST games I've ever played.
That's it? I guess Bioware should take lessons from Bethesda on how to REALLY glitch up a game. Not once did I see an NPC flung into the sky or torn into a whirling 4D anomaly...
Is this PC? That loading thing must get annoying REAL fast, never mind the bug (thankfully I've never seen it but at least now I'll be prepared for it)
This also happens on the N7 random mission involving the crashed ship hanging off of a cliff (don't remember the name). I've gotten it in other places too but not consistently.
I remember this btug! It pissed me off-ended up having to backtrack like 2 hours. Good Times. It's still a great game, although the last boss was so lame.
@leopardgeckocrazy Now a days a crappy game can win Game of the Year. Yeah I know the newer generation are coming along and anything that makes them use their brain or takes more then 20 - 30 hours to complete is something of the past. Still I would like to see an RPG last more then a weekend for the money I sink into them. Games all about pretty pictures and lame story that leads to fast paced combat with cover mechanics. :/ Good bye epic story. Good bye good combat.
@TheChuchulainn I disagree, this just scratches the surface. some people should just get a life. glitches happen sometimes in 1 in a 100 copies. but I wished a certain one would have happened when I was recording. wanted to show it off
the only technical problem i ever had with this game was that it crashed ONCE during load screen, other than that its been air tight which only adds to this games sence of, awesomeness..
Oh my God! You mean there's a graphical glitch???? The game is completely ruined for me now! The fluid combat system, the varied environments, the superb writing and voice acting? All destroyed because this prince among men found a graphic glitch! He saved us all! Make him emperor of the universe immediately!
@ArctheDark I'll send you a private message containing a website that points out a helluva lot more than two in three separate webpages. I'm not permitted to leave the comment with the URLs.
@Antipopularization Bullshit. This is an open forum, if there's an issue with a game you're allowed to write about it! You're telling me you can't just briefly summarize what you think is wrong with the game in 500 characters? If you think I'm clicking those links you'd better think again.
@ArctheDark The game then has the terrorist organization Cerberus bring Commander Shepard back from the dead because they recognized that he was the only one who could save humanity from the Reaper threat. This is the first giveaway that nobody was trying to make the games fit together. Cerberus in the first game was unambiguously evil and ruthless and it was never demonstrated that they had any goals besides the acquisition of power.
@ArctheDark (They claimed to be pro-human, but they arguably killed more humans than the bad guys. Never once were we shown how Cerberus was helping humans.) Shepard was their chief nemesis. Cerberus in Mass Effect 2 presents itself as a group with noble intentions and questionable methods. If they had planned on having us work for Cerberus in part two, they could have set things up for us in part one so this felt like a twist and not a rewrite.
@ArctheDark The Cerberus missions you foiled in the first game could have been part of an overarching scheme that is revealed at the start of the second game. There are so many interesting things they could have done with this. They could have connected the dots and shown how Cerberus weren’t as bad as they seemed.
Instead, they simply shoved you into service of Cerberus and then threw in a few dialog options to let you bitch about it in petty, non-specific ways.
@ArctheDark Why did they need to reboot the story by killing and reviving Shepard? This is something you should only do if you’ve been painted into a corner. But Mass Effect 1 left plenty of wiggle room to put Shepard into whatever situation they needed. When you’re planning to write a three-game trilogy, scene one of Act II should not begin with “start over”.
@ArctheDark This is particularly frustrating when, after the messy reboot, they have to come up with a bunch of contrivances to put nearly everything back where it was!
@ArctheDark 2) Your ship is destroyed, but they build you a new one that’s very similar and then give it the same name. (Except the new one has the CERBERUS LOGO stenciled on the side, which is a bit odd for a super-secret shadow organization. Somehow this doesn’t cause constant problems for you every time you try to dock somewhere civilized.)
@ArctheDark 4) All of your original crew resign the Alliance and (on their own, apparently) join up with this terrorist organization. They seem to do so without knowing ahead of time that they will end up working for you again on a copy of the original ship. Apparently your entire crew was teetering on the edge of treason at the end of the last game? (Really. Dr. Chakwas’ excuse for signing up with Cerberus is that she missed space travel.
@ArctheDark She signed up with one of the most ruthless organizations in the galaxy – an organization that you had fought many times in the first game – because that was the only way she could think of to get back into space!?!) So by the time you take command of the new Normandy, everyone is already waiting for you.
@ArctheDark So after all of this vandalism to the original plot and characters, we end up almost exactly back where we were at the end of game 1, with the same ship, same crew, same setup. The only thing different is who we’re working for. Which brings us to…
@ArctheDark “Illusive Man”. Really BioWare? (Keep in mind this universe already has a character named “Shadow Broker”.)
Exhibit B in the case that nobody bothered to plan ahead: Nowhere in game 1 does anyone refer to the Illusive Man. You are sent to meet him a few minutes into the game. If the first game had been seeded with allusions to this guy, this could have been a mind-blowing moment. “Woah! I’m going to get to meet the Illusive Man?!?” Instead I was like, “Who?”
@ArctheDark In the recruitment dialog, you’re never given the chance to confront him about any of the past crimes of his organization or give him a chance to tell you his side of the story. Note that if you have the “Sole Survivor” background, then Cerberus is responsible for the life-changing backstory events that led to you undergoing severe physical and mental trauma and killed your entire unit. You can’t even bring this up during your chat with Illusive Man.
@ArctheDark In return, he never brings up any of the plans of his that you wrecked in the first game. He never tries to change your mind about Cerberus.
In fact, you can’t really say anything of value to him. Your only dialog options are halfhearted resignation or Luke Skywalker-level, “I’ll never join you!” bravado. The latter is particularly risible since, by the end of the conversation, you’ve done exactly that.
@ArctheDark Once the game is done messing up your backstory, the characters, and the setting itself, it cuts you loose to recruit your team. And then Mass Effect 2 becomes completely awesome. Once the introduction is out of the way, you start collecting teammates and seeing their interesting stories. This is where you will spend a majority of the game.
@ArctheDark Assuming you recruit all the characters and do all of their personal missions, you’ll spend 75% of the game on the fun missions and only 25% on the annoyingly porous story.
Matter of fact, justify your fucking opinion! What plot holes? What is it specifically wrong with the game (apart from one tiny little glitch) that pisses you off while millions of other people think the game is beautifully put together?
@colebowlin68 That I can't argue with. It didn't feel right to be punted from area to another. I'd love to explore Omega. You just know all sorts of shit would happen if you got past the closed in environment.
@Qwiggalo Agree. I have had other bugs with the unreal engine but never lost of gravity and clipping..... Well never a lost of gravity and clipping that I did put in the console command for.
Only in ME2. Bioware was working to hard to make the game look shiny and pretty to work on the game fully. To many random bugs like that. A decent story but not something on bioware epic level. With Halo want a be combat. Sadly ME2 was a disappointment. Not as big as DA2 and SWTOR.
@Qwiggalo I had... Ever played Gears of War? In the first one, people were going over barricades at the same time in order to get propelled out of the map...
Oh ok a glitch.. That's reason enough to assume that THE WHOLE GAME SUCKS... dumb-ass!! but go ahead and skip the game your the one who's missing out!!
I truly hated this game. And no, I'm not CoD faggot. I just didn't think the combat, story, characters were good. And the dialogue was techno-babble mostly.
@Curseco You don't understand it so you hate it? "Hate" us it to describe things that are truly the bane of your existence, not some game you didn't like Dipshit!
Im not even sure why I clicked on this video if I knew I was gonna have a heart attack sometime in this video because of how you are basing the entire game on a single glitch. MASS EFFECT ROCKS!!!!!!!! If youd rather play Fallout with its boring story/plot,clunky and un realistic animations. Its not an RPG. ITs just a shooter with lots of dialogue. Mass Effect is the opposite. Its an RPG with a side of Shooter action at the boring parts. If u dont like it then dont buy it retard!
@SALT123ify I disagree with your assessment, but I do enjoy both games. I think the most important distinction to be made is stability. Mass Effect has a few glitches, but it is NOTHING compared to the constant C2D and lockups Fallout 3 (and I've heard New Vegas) has. Still, I love them all just the same.
I loved the game (replaying it now for the third time), but this type of glitch doesn't take an hour to recreate - it's happened to me in that clinic in all three playthroughs. I know what to expect and save ahead of time :) and it's the only glitch I've run into.
hate on it as much as you want but mass effect 2 was way better in terms of glitches then mass effect 1. even the xbox version of me1 was glitchy as hell
Is Black Ops a good game? Sure, I guess. It's good in the sense that Modern Warfare 2 was good, which in turn is because Modern Warfare was good. They're all pretty much the same game. MW2 elaborated on MW's concepts, and Treyarch took IW's game, turned back the clock 40 years, took out a few things, added some dogs, and that's it. I think for a game to be considered great, it needs to be innovative, and evolve as a franchise. CoD just hasn't.
@TheVikingDoctor: A quality product and a product that sells well are two different things entirely. One does not guarantee the other. Case in point, the movie Avatar. It wasn't a great story, and the acting was lackluster, but it was shiny, so it outsold every movie ever. CoD is a big name. People buy it because it's CoD. Hell, I did. Is it the best shooter of all time? Not even remotely. Is it the best-selling shooter of all time? Absolutely.
This happened to me to. I was playing the mission where you go on the Colony to fight collectors untill i suddenly went airborne. Had to restart it. Damn.
@LordfishKeke The fact that I like a mature game for intelligent gamers who actually care about story, depth, characters and freedom in games doesn't make me a kid who needs to grow up. You hate mass effect thats fine thats your opinion but there are alot of people trolling on this game whether you admit it or not and people like you who really don't like it than apparently these kind of games just don't appeal to you. You have your opinions and I have mine. No arguments from me.
@LordfishKeke Did you even read my comment correctly? I said that a critically acclaimed game like Mass Effect will attract trolls that doesn't mean everyone who dislikes the game or the ones this game does not appeal to are trolls stop making shit up. The guy who made this video for example is a troll as a lot of people said they never had this kind of a problem with the game. There is another COD fanboy who makes videos on youtube shitting on every acclaimed game he could find. Understand!
@LordfishKeke Your last comment shows how immature you are and here you are calling me childish that makes you a childish hypocrite well all I can say to you now is best of luck boy I hope you grow up one day. Take care dearie.
This actually happened to me too! I'm really hoping they patch this up. I ended up playing the whole darn level because it auto saved when the glitch was there. But I won't say Mass Effect Sucks because aside from this patchable glitch, everything about this game is awesome.
dumbass bioware makes the best rpg games and you're just babbling nonsense about bad animations....i had no problem playing the game and this never happened to me..i have the game official...

Once the introduction is out of the way, you start collecting teammates and seeing their interesting stories. This is where you will spend a majority of the game.
Antipopularization 2 months ago
@ArctheDark Assuming you recruit all the characters and do all of their personal missions, you’ll spend 75% of the game on the fun missions and only 25% on the annoyingly porous story.
Antipopularization 2 months ago
@ArctheDark That was one link. I can copy and paste the other two but I think that first one points out a few noticeable plot holes.
Antipopularization 2 months ago
Matter of fact, justify your fucking opinion! What plot holes? What is it specifically wrong with the game (apart from one tiny little glitch) that pisses you off while millions of other people think the game is beautifully put together?

@Qwiggalo Hasn't happened to me yet. I just get superglued to railings. XD

@Blackemperess Yeah, but they made ME2 too closed [if you know what I mean] I like ME1 better because it's morev open.
colebowlin68 1 month ago
@colebowlin68 That I can't argue with. It didn't feel right to be punted from area to another. I'd love to explore Omega. You just know all sorts of shit would happen if you got past the closed in environment.
Blackemperess 1 week ago
I don't think your playing the game right if you managed that.
Peepshow789 4 months ago
This is because of problems with the Unreal engine. Blame the people who made that, BioWare is just licensing it.
R3GARnator 4 months ago
@R3GARnator Never had this problem with any other game using UDK.
Qwiggalo 4 months ago 2

I like how biodrones get ultra defensive at any criticism of a bioware game. They sure have their fans trained well.

Even though this happens sometimes doesent make it a bad game! It is IMO the best RPG evah!

I truly hated this game. And no, I'm not CoD faggot. I just didn't think the combat, story, characters were good. And the dialogue was techno-babble mostly.
Curseco 5 months ago
@Curseco You don't understand it so you hate it? "Hate" us it to describe things that are truly the bane of your existence, not some game you didn't like Dipshit!

@Glatorix Boohoo, the game is still horrible.
Curseco 5 months ago
Im not even sure why I clicked on this video if I knew I was gonna have a heart attack sometime in this video because of how you are basing the entire game on a single glitch. MASS EFFECT ROCKS!!!!!!!! If youd rather play Fallout with its boring story/plot,clunky and un realistic animations. Its not an RPG. ITs just a shooter with lots of dialogue. Mass Effect is the opposite. Its an RPG with a side of Shooter action at the boring parts. If u dont like it then dont buy it retard!
SALT123ify 5 months ago
@SALT123ify I disagree with your assessment, but I do enjoy both games. I think the most important distinction to be made is stability. Mass Effect has a few glitches, but it is NOTHING compared to the constant C2D and lockups Fallout 3 (and I've heard New Vegas) has. Still, I love them all just the same.

I loved the game (replaying it now for the third time), but this type of glitch doesn't take an hour to recreate - it's happened to me in that clinic in all three playthroughs. I know what to expect and save ahead of time :) and it's the only glitch I've run into.
jonathanhartley88 6 months ago
hate on it as much as you want but mass effect 2 was way better in terms of glitches then mass effect 1. even the xbox version of me1 was glitchy as hell

CoD just hasn't.
burnout21 7 months ago
@TheVikingDoctor: A quality product and a product that sells well are two different things entirely. One does not guarantee the other. Case in point, the movie Avatar. It wasn't a great story, and the acting was lackluster, but it was shiny, so it outsold every movie ever. CoD is a big name. People buy it because it's CoD. Hell, I did. Is it the best shooter of all time? Not even remotely. Is it the best-selling shooter of all time? Absolutely.
burnout21 7 months ago
@burnout21 The best shooter of all time would be an opinion thing.

MrAngelBitchez 7 months ago
Mass Effect games are quite possibly the best series of games released this gen but ofcourse if a game is highly praised it attracts trolls.
fan977 7 months ago
@fan977 You need to grow up, some people will have differing opinions to yours. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a troll.
I hate Mass Effect, deal with it.
LordfishKeke 7 months ago
@LordfishKeke Yeah whatever you say COD fanboy.
fan977 7 months ago
@fan977 I hate Cod.
Your sweeping generalisations are childish and stupid.
LordfishKeke 7 months ago
@LordfishKeke The fact that I like a mature game for intelligent gamers who actually care about story, depth, characters and freedom in games doesn't make me a kid who needs to grow up. You hate mass effect thats fine thats your opinion but there are alot of people trolling on this game whether you admit it or not and people like you who really don't like it than apparently these kind of games just don't appeal to you. You have your opinions and I have mine. No arguments from me.
fan977 7 months ago
@fan977 what does make you childish is implying that everyone that hates on the game is a troll.
LordfishKeke 7 months ago
@LordfishKeke Did you even read my comment correctly? I said that a critically acclaimed game like Mass Effect will attract trolls that doesn't mean everyone who dislikes the game or the ones this game does not appeal to are trolls stop making shit up. The guy who made this video for example is a troll as a lot of people said they never had this kind of a problem with the game. There is another COD fanboy who makes videos on youtube shitting on every acclaimed game he could find. Understand!

This actually happened to me too! I'm really hoping they patch this up. I ended up playing the whole darn level because it auto saved when the glitch was there. But I won't say Mass Effect Sucks because aside from this patchable glitch, everything about this game is awesome.
