what kind of "feel" do you get from the Buttkicker in a racing sim game..say f1 2010? can you expect to get a rumble from engine?, driving over curves? crrashing off the track? what about when braking? etc.

I want to get this for my gaming PC. How would I hook this up and use my headset at the same time? If I hooked this up to my speaker output it would get cut off when I plug in the heaset. Any suggestions for this? I can only think of going into the audio and disabling the front audio jack detection or buying a sound card with a subwoofer output.

@HomelessCinema i think this gamer version is not strong enough but i got a bka 300 buttkicker and that thing really gives you boomy shaky feel. i never thought watching kiddy shrek movie gives me that kinda thirlling action sensation. go to amazon.com and read all the buyer review and nobody dislike this bka 300 model. best money i ever spent since george foreman grill. too bad lot of people never heard about this amazing product!!

Thanks for the hands on review. Minor technical Correction...you keep mentioning frequency response in terms of "k" (suggesting kilohertz), which is the wrong unit; subwoofers work in tens to low-hundreds of Hertz, not Kilohertz. Cheers.

hi! so i just got the buttkicker and try to hook up with my computer, i did it as it shows in the manual, but there's no power go in to the buttkicker. eventhought there's power light on the amp. wheredid i go wrong? do i need to do some setting in my PC? currentlly i'm using the digital output for my Z5500 speker and my Astro A40 headset. please help!

Can you try this with arma 2, for the tanks and aircraft then review it...download the demo (thats if your pc can handle it).

@BusterBlaize Nope. Heres how I run it even though its weird. I plug my hdmi into my tv, and then i use a set of stereo rca male to male cables plugged into the audio out of my tv. I also have my PX21 hooked in. This allows me to use my tv speakers if I want to.

@BusterBlaize You could also enable multi audio out on the ps3, and use the composite cables as well as hdmi but in my testing the hdmi signal lagged compared to the rca so tahst why I take it from the tv and the ps3. If you enable multi out btw you can only run stereo.

but it's not, I got mine about 3 days ago, and it's awesome, seriously, it's better than a subwoofer.

I was just playing GTA IV, and fuck it's awesome hitting people with a car, haha, it feels like your inside that car, and your actually hitting people (I know I'm sadistic, so what) lol

@cornholio777 GRID is amazing too, when you driving over rumble strips, they feel like real rumble strips, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

the engine idling, crashes, all feel amazing.

Bad Company too is also awesome, the explosions, and gunshots, even can feel when your walking.

C&C is cool, good effect when you build buildings.

MW2 sucks balls tho, because they got a shitty bass track in that game for weapons.

Crysis doesn't have the best bass track either for weapons.

Trent I'm glad you had picked up this product I've had my eye on it for quite sometime. It's very popular among the racing sim gamers so I thought it was merely a product for enthusiast. However, I had experienced the buttkicker recently with popular games other than racing sims, needless to say I finally ordered one and it's on the way. The amp has enough cooling withou a fan to not overheat. And amp I have ever seen before has multiple fans and still possible overheat. But I guess these are alot bigger amps I'm using.
