  • i live for this fucking band!

  • Arctic Monkeys anyone?

  • @gogolplex74 what du mean?

  • @qoakzm2qoakzm it sounds like AM

  • @gogolplex74 oh lol i thought u meant u prefer them... which i do. i dnt thnk so especially not for their new stuff - similar i guess in energy, but i thought it just sounded like heavier version of wt klaxons did before.

  • Well, they suck now....

  • gotta be one of their best songs <3

  • This song would have been really good for a music video.

If only this song could play on forever...

  • @thegreatwahoo

    google for youtube repeat

  • I really like this song!!

  • guaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaau

  • HORRORS RIP-OFF

  • @firsrupert

    no

  • Oh snap is their new song this is amazing!

  • the energy they put into this song live is just unreal. one of the best shows i've ever been to.

  • Oh God that bass is just sending waves of pleasure through me :D

  • Klaxons r AH-MAY-ZEENG

  • humm... i feel its a song about a neighboring solar system whos sun is going super nova lol.... what? its the best i got...

  • Epic song

  • arctic monkeys???

  • @dxrkogreen nope

  • @dxrkogreen nope

  • @dxrkogreen holy shit...

  • Brilliant! Lovely!

  • awesome song love its!!XD

  • If someone told me to scarp my album I'd get a new record label. These guys are good enough that they could have got another album out in about the same time of the material they wanted after switching labels...I'm sure it was some contract situation...

  • gd song

  • they took so long in making a new album because they wanted to get it just right. also their record label did not like previous songs/albums they had come up with.. i met them the other week, amazing guys.

  • @NooNeeny Me too, at Reading Festival x

  • @bloedgrap Actually they worked about 6 months on it, if less. After working for 2 years on the album they were supposed to release, their record label told them to scrap it and make something for release as quick as they could.

  • Woo, I'm a bit behind, so this song is from their new album?

    if it is, epic.

  • MGMT - Congratulations video

    /watch?v=Amcoztov_wo

    /watch?v=Amcoztov_wo

    /watch?v=Amcoztov_wo

    Peace

  • hypergalacticgenius

  • You can tell their album's been rushed, if only they'd spent more time on it D:

  • @SnakeEatersz They worked 3 years on it, don't you think that's enough?

  • echoes so much better <.<

  • This song got me into the Klaxons :D

  • @DavidLeeThrower Ah you really should listen to there first album and there covers then; I was obsessed for a good year or two haha :)

  • @JonnyJustSpunkiied Will do! :)

  • Why do people come on to songs and dislike them .. fuck sake annoys the hell out of me. Nice Choon though XD

  • @MrCricket90

You've got to hear a song before you can judge it. If someone doesn't like what he's hearing, he presses the dislike-button. It's not all that difficult to understand.

  • @MrCricket90 maybe because they come on the song to see what it sounds like, then don't like it?

  • LOVE IT.

this and echoes are both amazing!! cant wait for leeds fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really good stuff. As always.

  • the reason it took them so long to realise another album was cause jamie was making his cat human size for the cover

  • not funny man.... the label didn´t let them release the first ( according to them, it was metal) , and i imagine that was way better than this shitty album... instead of a breath taking album, like the first one was, we have 2, 3 good songs and the rest seems made to fit whatever the label think klaxons are. however, the cover is really good...

  • @arcticTom2002 hey i didn't even say that Jamie did and he was joking cause he was doing a radio interview. i like the cover no need to get so angry

  • lol, not angry. but this guys were really awesome and now they´re not. that´s a shame...

  • @arcticTom2002 not true! listen to the whole album.

  • cant wait for new album!

  • This is great! I missed the Klaxons

    :D

  • it's been a while since i last looked at klaxons, when did they get a fourth man?

  • @AlexSinHidge In February 2006 :-). His name is Steffan (Steff) Halperin.

  • du grand klaxons =P

  • naughtey.

  • THIS SONG IS EPIC!!! FUCKIN GLAD THE KLAXONS ARE BACK WID SOME HARD SHIT

  • By far superior to echoes

  • That's pretty good!

  • I like it, but I'm struggling to see 4 years of work here?

  • @voltage17121712 I agree but over those years they wrote an album which was too experimental for their label so they got sent back into the studio to record something a little more mainstream. so really they've written two albums in those 4 years.

    or so I've been told

  • @voltage17121712 Nah, they've probably written two or three albums worth of material. They had finished an album sometime back in 2009 but their record label told them that it was too experimental and that they would have to rerecord some of it. Well... somewhere along the line, that album was completely scraped.

  • @tjlep Hmm, that's a shame, hopefully this will do well and give them some free reign on their next album.

  • Klaxons are at my core, they started my love for crazy effing good music, and they just continue to amaze me! Cannot way to buy Surfing the void to see what other treasures are on this album.

  • @ LeathalKnight you are so completely right. It bothers me when people don't even bother to listen to one other song on the REST of their album. I find that their better songs aren't the singles anyways, but I love Klaxons soo much too.

  • it's amazing live!!

  • they can do no wrong in my eyes as far music goes.

  • its great and chaotic!

  • When I saw them in Vancouver, I started/finished the mosh pit!

(And i'm not even a jock douche-bag... really I swear!)

  • i was a little scared after hearing Echoes, but this gives me some hope for the new record.

  • @123PullOut321 why? it's a great song, just gotta forget the stylistic prejudgements and you will enjoy it :)

  • @mattelierband It's just boring compared to how awesome they can sound like in this song.

  • myths of the bear future was one of the best albums ive ever heard...i think Surfing The Void will be even better...

  • ommmmmmfg

    :D

    <3

  • This is wickedly mint. I love Myths of The Near Future and I'm rather liking what's coming next!

  • i actually thought the first album was pretty throw away, but this is quality

  • Spider man!

  • LOVE ITTTTTTTT <33333333333333 thumbs up if you agree

  • Song is awesome, everything they do is awesome, moslty because it never sounds the same.

  • sounds a bit like the same direction as magick!!

  • awful

  • the only thing i don't like about this song is "dimensions of TOOOOOIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMEEEEE"

  • the beginning of the songs almost reminds me of mr. bungle. especially the bass

  • Bored.

  • Lovin' it!

  • The intro sounds like something the Horrors would do.

I must say though, this isn't my cup of tea. I loved the first album but I'm not liking the 2 songs that I've heard so far.

  • tbe klaxons aren't dead.

i heard them on the radio ;P

  • this is fucking sik.

  • I like this song, I do..

  • ok lah kalo begitu...

  • this effin RAWKS...

  • Welcome back,Klaxons.

    you were missed. Kind of.

  • KLAXONS!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

  • kurvajó!!!!!!!!!

  • no this is not ther longest song. the original "four horseman of 2012" have 12 minutes long

  • @GuSepwNz Sure, 12 minutes of silence.

  • @OverlordNathan even if you cut the silence part and put together the first (band) and last (psychedelic freaky sounds) parts, there will be 5:16 minutes, equal to Flashover.

I really think that the silence in "4 horseman" still counts. If it's there, probably it have a purpose...

  • @GuSepwNz I thought the weird bit at the end was supposed to be a secret track...

  • @AhhThatGuy ya maybe, I don't know...but i consider that the wird bit is from 4 horseman =/

  • @GuSepwNz that's stupid... that was really under 3 mins... even though there was a gap.. fuk sake

  • @Simon0Brien hmmmmm....no?

  • i just read quietus review of the album and man can wait till the album drops

  • nothing special

  • disappointing... :(

  • Am I only one who hears KoRn's pseudo-heavy style in some moments? Ross Robinson did it?

  • i like this song the more i listen i start to love it

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

  • Nice one

  • . i waited too long for the klaxons to come back and i guess i built up that it was gunna be like an awesome song. but this is just good! so i'm like disapointed

  • @louisejaneManchester Gotta realize they had a whole album of material that got rejected by the label because it was too far out there, lol. I want to hear that stuff soooooooooo bad.

  • Love this and echoes. Coming to see you at King Tuts. Can't wait!

  • cannnnnooootttt wait for the new album!!!!!

  • mmm tasty

  • Beltin'!!

  • Pretty good.

  • echoes

    youtube.com/watch?v=eRUQ-nBrH-Y

  • ando pro si bn mojado

  • a la madre esta mui buena

    JOOOOERRR!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone heard Echoes yet? I actually think this sounds more like Klaxons than that does, this reminds me of Four Horsemen of 2012.

  • just based on this one song, you can easily tell the new album should continue their already established success

  • fucking finally.

  • while this song is a little bolder than their other work, you can still hear the klaxonesque tones. however, from the new songs ive heard, ripped from concerts, there will still be those upbeat riffs and grooves incorporated in their new album. In any event, THIS GUY IS FUCKING STOKED!!!!!

  • I prefer the first album too..but I still love this. Their new album is coming out in August and its called surfing the void I think

  • @IzzyC78 The first album is pure masterpiece, I hope this will be at least decent

  • @Koptok01 I Agree With You ! Golden Skans in one of the best Music of Decade !

  • @IzzyC78 I hate the cover for their second album :( I hope there will be some version with different cover

  • @Koptok01 the cover for surfing the void is a cat in a space suit. It is more interesting than the previous one :)

  • @IzzyC78 It's too corny for my taste, MOTNF had more intresting cover and more creative as well.

  • mehh I prefer and loooved the klaxons first album, are they getting a new album yet or what?

  • brianstormesque arctic monkeys + the horrors = Flashover...

    no further questions

  • @Arosenbaum21 - But the real trick is that it still sounds good on its own, and the lyrical style isn't similar to either band :P

  • @DaveyJones1111 agreed

  • @DaveyJones1111 agreed. similar to both but not the same

  • Anybody who doesn't like this because it's different is an idiot, did you even listen to the first album? All the songs sounded pretty different, even if you've only heard the singles you can see that. And this does still sound like Klaxons.

  • @EboliCastration

Of course, Who else could pull off the word Myriad in a song?!

  • I Like This.

  • awesome, it's new but it's still sounds like "klaxons"

  • Crazy awesome.

  • its taken a few listens but yea... it's a tune! Compare it to anything else released this year and it completely kicks ass!

  • Geeze, half the kids here think that the band will stay the same after 3 years. Grow up.

  • @vanuaturocks

i guess we like how they used to sound better.

  • @vanuaturocks

i guess we like how they used to sound better.

  • @vanuaturocks

i guess we liked the way they used to sound better.

  • More rock, less rave. I dig it.

  • tomaaaaa! el 17 de Julio a verlos al FIB !!

  • This is fucking amazing. I love this so much.

The reasons why some of you don't like this is because all you've listened to is Golden Skans because of MTV. Same with MGMT, you only like them because of Kids and Time to Pretend.

  • @LeathalKnight yeah but the new MGMT was a bit shit compared to the first one don't you think?

  • @jozzman Sorta, I mean some of their newer stuff is eh, but I think it's still a decent album.

  • @LeathalKnight

    totally right mate

  • @LeathalKnight you are so rigth...klaxons have unique music that mgmt dont...klaxons are not as popular as mgmt because their music is not so commercial...but i believe they are better...

( i like mgmt but their new cd really sucks...)

  • @alexvilla1989 You're saying so much crap... I love both Klaxons and MGMT, to justify i'm objective. But you explain that MGMT is too much commercial while their second album is by really far the less commercial of the two, and you say that you don't like it... Klaxons know how to make some good pop songs as Golden Skans or Echoes, just enough to sell and in the same time they make what they truly like, and so does MGMT.

  • @alexvilla1989 made my day

  • @LeathalKnight No, the reason some people dislike is because they've become much heavier than Myths of the Near Future. Hardly anything off Myths is as heavy as Flashover. That said, I think this song is stunning.

  • @GodhandXo This is true, but it's definitely an awesome change from albums.

  • @LeathalKnight I only like MGMT because of "Kids"...because that's the only good song they've put out there. :)

  • @ScarlettM457 Electric Feel? Weekend Wars? Flash Delirium?

  • @LeathalKnight Not a fan...

  • @ScarlettM457 Weirdo... :D

  • forgot how dire these guys are. Certainly didn't miss them, whenever this hunk of fucking shit got delayed it was a small blessing

  • Oh my gosh. <3

  • here's a little fun fact...this is their longest song to date! Woo!

  • @mowrt620 Four hosemen of 2012 is 19 minutes long you pube haha

  • @TheMrRyan1992 Touche, haha

  • @TheMrRyan1992 what they do with the hose?

  • @kombajndosalatek They put fires out with it haha, typo, my bad

  • @mowrt620 well that depends whether or not you count the half an hour of silence and hidden track at the end of Four Horsemen...

  • Not a good song.

  • oh my goodness this is so bad

  • i wish you people will stop comparing since klaxons sound way better

  • Whats with the klaxons and horrors debate? Both epic bands and both sound completely different.

  • Their new albums is gonna be FUCKING SWEET.

    I can't wait.

  • stop comparing klaxons and the horrors because klaxons just own

  • Jesus christ how bad are peoples memories, Klaxons and The Horrors came from the same fucking scene, they were even on the same NME tour along with NYPC and The Sunshine Underground. Neither one influenced/copied the other, seeing as they have totally different influences/came into fruition at the same time basically

  • I love it! About the 'who was before Klaxons or The Horrors' thing, waaaay back in 2007, me thinks, I was watching some interview with The Horrors, right here on you tube, in which they said that Klaxons have been their major influence. If you ask me, they copied their whole sound from 'Four Horesmen of 2012'. Look it up, I bet this interview is still somewhere here.

  • @arcticsweetheart nah i wouldnt say they copied. both are talented bands :)

  • @arcticsweetheart Horrors copy a whole bunch of stuff but it all predates Klaxons by about 2 decades

  • KlaxKORNs!?

I really like Korn and klaxons but each in their corner ...

  • YES!
