  • I love BloodRayne!

  • one of the best games ever made !!!!

  • @KaiserReichDeutsch It's one of my all time fave games. It is totally awesome, but not perfect. So I respect tazZANSHINs opinion. I think Terminal Reality would be really smart to do a ground up remake of this game (while remakes are hot) to kickstart the series again & gain a bigger fan base. I'm talking current gen graphics, gamplay, AI and animations. They could beef up the story too & add extra levels. That would be the ultimate way to save the series after those horrendous movies. Please!

  • shit game..

  • @tazZANSHIN Granted it's not the best game ever made, but it is pretty unique. I mean I can't think of another game which blends gunplay, swordplay, vampires and occult Nazis. The game is dated and it controls a little sloppy. But damn if they could make a well polished third game on current consoles I think it could be a real winner. I'm thinking the atmosphere of Velvet Assassin with the gameplay of Xmen Origins Wolverine. I want it now!

  • So to some it all up, all you have to do is just let it go after Wulf and just hit him from behind? After a while he doesn't lose any health. O_O So fucking hard!

  • Well you can hit him from behind with grenades and rocket launchers. But when you're using straight up guns you have to aim for his heart. When he's small Wulf is a good distraction so you can gather ammo. If you're shooting at him and he stops loosing health that means he's getting too high. You need to use the small ledges along the wall to get higher, and if he gets too tall again you can use extruded view, once you run out of grenades and rockets that is. :)

  • the two of them are hard ass bosses to beat, especially with no one to feed on to gain health, well played man you owned those two and you took next to no hits, and i like how you never showed the cutscenes so there are no spoilers, very good, this ones going to the favorites for sure

  • Thanks. :) They are hard. I'm quite proud of finishing them off seeing as I'm not really great at playing games. I'm yet to defeat Project Zero (stupid ghosts kick my butt). And I have a huge backlog of unfinished and untouched games, (soon to be even huger because of my inevitable spending sprees). But I love it. Gaming is good fun. :)

  • I made it to the end bosses (no cheats), killed that German guy (took me a wile) but when I tried to kill the other boss not only he was huge, but he also stopped loosing health after a wile... also the only weapon that took out some HP was the rocket launcher. I tried to take him out 1st and the same thing happened...

  • cheater :))

  • lol. I used to be. Until I discovered using dilated perception and grenades against bosses. Now the only part of this game I'm yet to conquer all naturale is the mech bit. It's just so hard... nothing to fill your health on and lots of enemies.

  • how come she ran so fast?

  • Ahha, This brings back some memories :)

i remember the first time i finished Bloodrayne, what an awesome game it was xD

shame the second one wasnt as good in my opinion and the films... well, I wont go into that O_O

  • The 2nd is good just different. It is a guilty pleasure. I've played it through so many times. Its definitely more cliched than the first but its still playable. I liked the addition of kicking and proper combos. But little things like not being able to bite enemies on the ground or shoot and slice at the same time, the crappy blood ammo, and hard to use chain thingie were annoying. There's a whole 60 years between the games so I'd like to see BloodRayne 1.5. :) More nazis please.

  • -_-"

i killed the monster last xD..

  • Well I used to leave him till he was huge to kill him. No wonder I couldn't beat him without cheating. But now I'm older and wiser :p. Next play through I'll have to have a go at killing Wulf first. I don't think I'd get very far though.

  • i love this game and beliar is hard to beat wolf is easy

  • I think they're both hard and easy in their own way. Both have skills and weaknesses. So what's your technique for beating them? Do share. :) This was my first time at killing both of them without cheating :p Shameful, but true. So please enlighten me. :)

  • on beliar i used the grenade launcher which is hidden on the pillir to get hits and the rocket launcher on the top floor and on wolf id shoot him to stun him then get in close and get him with mellee attacks and its funny what she does at the end of the game

  • Yeah I did the same. :) I can't believe it took me this long to work out how to kill him. lol. I was really wrapped when I found that grenade launcher and started kicking Beliar's butt. Did you use dilated perception on Wulf? I found that if I was having trouble on any of the bosses that dilated perception gives you an edge once your bloodrage runs dry. I love all the cutscenes. BR2 needed more cutscenes... shame on it. Silly trailer had me thinking we would see oodles of Rayne... and we didn't.

  • is dilated perception the aura thing then yes i used it to see him when he ran upstairs so i could time a shot with the grenade launcher when he was coming down

  • Ah nope, dilated perception and aura vision are different. Dilated perception is like bullet time. It is down on the d-pad on the xbox version. Its just helpful when fighting quick bosses once your bloodrage runs out, like Mauler and Wulf. (Side note: apparently when you fight the twins you can destroy the pillars, I'm going to have to try that out next time). But hey, props to you for beating the game and not using it. lol.

  • Yeah. BloodRayne, Prince of Persia Sands of Time, The Suffering and Psi Ops are my top picks. They never get old. :)

BloodRayne = excellent female character with blades and fangs.

Prince of Persia = Gorgeous. Great story, characters and environment. And so far it kicks Tomb Raider's butt (in my opinion).

The Suffering = Coolest monsters and moral choices. Not to mention great weapons. :)

Psi Ops = fun psi powers and enjoyable rag doll physics.

Mmmmm.... I want to go play games now. :)
