  • patriotism should replaced with planetism

  • teller takes the flag out and put it in penn's coat at 1:25

  • what happen to the those patriots in white hoods when 9/11 happened? Real easy to mess with a little black boy trying to go to college, but when an actual threat comes out, they don't do shit.... bunch of bitches

  • This was the trick that they did in "The West Wing."

  • And then SOPA passes.

  • @ondinebelacqua Odd choice of words considering that the the USA is not really a nation

  • Ehw, I so hate nationalism.

  • soo fucking patriotic

  • Dissent is the highest form of patriotism

  • having pride in your country is just fine. Basing that pride on having to be the best country in the world is just dangerous.

  • @Lennon4life1968 yeah, there's nothing wrong with liking where you came from.

  • @Lennon4life1968 having pride in your country is just fine. Basing that pride on having to be the best country in the world is BETTER!!!

  • @Lennon4life1968 Your comment really suits your username, lol.

  • @Preeminence21 ..I have to admit theres truth to that..lol

  • @Lennon4life1968 Lennon for life? I hope you're just a Beatles fan.

  • Secret societies have plotted to enslave us for crimes we may or may not have committed.

  • @KyIeMcCIeIIan Not sure if Troll.

  • Nice.

  • This was very tastefully done, usually penn and teller go too far, but this was excellent, very well thought out

  • Patriotism? LOL COME ON PEOPLE LETS EVOLVE PAST THIS IGNORANT AND CLOSED MINDED IDEOLOGY.

  • @23lFrench Patriotism is ignorant and closed minded? LOL. Wow talk about ignorance.

I've traveled to other countries, we're the best by far.

  • @pcgamernum1 Yea, the best at being shit. Trust me, U.S.A is one of the most hated countires in the world.

  • @spyro40000 I've lived in Germany, I've been to Many other countries, including some in the middle east and canida. Well guess what? Germany is MUCH worse off than the USA. We are hated because our government decides it should be the world police... well guess what? People hate police. Even when they are right (Not saying we have been right often). BUT the USA is the best country to live in, we have the most freedoms, the most wealth, and the most powerful military.

  • @pcgamernum1 Germany is far better off than the US ever could be. High taxes sure, but medical care, housing, the dole, retirements, careers and education are ALL paid for by the state. And that makes it a far greater country than Ameriduh could ever be.

  • @spyro40000 America's biggist problem is we are becoming more socialist. As the most libertarian nation on earth that is BAD. PAtriot act, the new one that Obama said he'd veto, welfare, SS, and all the other crap programs have led to our current state. You have to be socialist or capitalist, you can't be both it distroys a country. And capitalism has made the US the strongest and most powerful country on earth. So libertarian all the way.

  • @pcgamernum1 I would personly say that Russia would kick your ass, but thats for another time :). (btw im not trying to make you angry, im just sharing opinions!)

  • @spyro40000 Don't worry i'm not angry. i'm a ranter. it's what I do. :P

  • @pcgamernum1 Oh yes because Socialism has treated the rest of the world so poorly. Just look at Norway and Sweden - the most socialist places on earth. They must be so unhappy. Wait what's that? They have the highest standard of living and some of the lowest emigrations in the world?

Well gee I guess Socialism DOES work better than a 2 party political system.

  • @GSol17 This proves your ignorance, Germany (Mainly socialist) has a 2 party system.

And I hav LIVED in germany and many germans are not happy with the system. Why? IT CREATES ECONOMIC HARD SHIPS. You're showing your ignorance.

  • @GSol17 Those countries have low crime as well because there's very little poverty. I live in a semi socialist country and for the most part it's OK. Any political system can be abused but Those Swedes have it great for sure, there's no desparate people because even the worst job pays well enough to have a decent life there. In canada if you have a low paying job you are screwed XD

  • in canadian and i found this enjoyable

  • Despite Penn's claim that he loves American freedoms, he subscribes to the conspiracy theory that Muslims perpetrated 9/11, which has been used to justify police state laws and to bankrupt the USA, even though there is no reliable proof they did anything significant on 9/11 except serve as patsies, whereas in contrast there is a mountain of evidence, and physical laws, showing that the US government and military contractors did do perpetrate 9/11.

  • @zck7 Whether Penn believes the government was behind 9/11 or not does not make him an authoritarian.

An authoritarian supports big government, Penn does not. Penn's views on 9/11 has nothing to do with him being an authoritarian.

I won't debate what happened on 9/11, because nobody is certain as to what happened. That mountain of evidence pointing towards the government is nothing more than speculation, not actual evidence. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm merely saying it's speculation.

  • @NoNameC68

If Penn insists that Muslims did 9/11, which he does, and urgently condemns (as he does) anyone who points out basic laws of physics that makes that utterly impossible, he is acting in the service of the authoritarians. He can SAY he wants freedom, but his ACTION is serving in the role of propagandist.

  • @zck7 You realize those claims have been disproven over and over again? By people in the US by people in other countries. By the terrorists themselves who said 'Yes we did this, BITCHES'. And even if he was wrong, that doesn't make him athoritarian, he wants to get ride of the government (most of it). Being right or wrong on ONE thing does not change a political oppinion. I like crazy people like you they are fun.

  • @pcgamernum1 No, you are absolutely wrong, and if you had ever bothered to merely scratch the surface of this issue you would know this. You are apparently someone who merely believes the corrupt media and authorities blindly. You need to find the courage to think for yourself.

  • @zck7 You mention physics, can you explain?

  • @boalsr21

You should have learned in middle school basic physics, which includes the commonplace knowledge that buildings (like WTC building 7 and the Twin Towers) don't fall down at free fall speed as those buildings did on 9/11 without the extensive use of carefully timed high explosives.

For more info, go to ae911truth dott org.

  • @zck7 what an effin idiot! conpiracy theory? so now everything is backwards now? I thought your little paranoia story that you wack jobs made up and got inbroiled in was a conspiracy but now the truth is the conspiracy just because you say something is true doesnt mean it is, we are living in a world full of wack jobs, whether you believe in a god or religion this sounds like the end times to me, because to me with the world going this crazy it must be close to the end.

  • @Sherbags conspiracy theory that muslims perpetrated? are you serious? yea cause those guys love us right? they would never do anything like that right? and those muslims they caught that got actual pilot training classes and terrorists praising the 911 terrorists for the attacks all that was set up too huh? well your right i guess you've convinced me. what an insult to the people that lost they're family or friends at 911 you should be sent to another country trader

  • Comment removed

  • I was there for that show. surprised you were allowed to video that, they were very adament about no photography/video

  • @rustedromeo i think this was a proffesinal recording due to the audio zoom and angel changes

  • The bill of rights is gone now too. You can thank right wingers and the patriot act and the homeland security act for that. And thank the mindless republican slime who supported that crap and started unjust wars, murdering hundreds of thousands of people in foreign land.

  • @heartfire451 is was bill clinton who wanted to pass the patriot, thought u should know

  • @heartfire451 Yeah because democrats never pushed net neutrality, or public ownership of private enterprises. No excuse for the patriot act but I think you miss half the disease by only looking at republicans.

  • It is scenes such as this that reminds me that American people are a completely different species from American politicians.

  • I find it odd that they made a very good living (outside being very talented magicians) exposing how terrible the US actually is...........

  • Right now the USA is no different than any other repressive totalitarian country. We have secret fascism. The poor dissapear into a sick killing machine known as Scientology and it happens under everyones nose. This country is getting rich on the backs of these people and no one really knows. philipnute com

  • Hey, dear Americans!!!

I know, I know, you like to take pride over geographical locations, yes, yes, you have proven to the rest of the world that you're good at that, but you're slaughtering millions of people, including children world wide...

    yeah...

Stop supporting the opressive empire you silly americans, then cuddle with your flag.

  • @SlipAllCityToy We're not the only nation that is doing things like that.

  • @Zamath119

    ... Why not name them?

There's no bigger opressive empire in the world than the United States, my man.

  • @SlipAllCityToy Well, lets see... First of all opressive is not the correct spelling. and the worst of the worst are the countries Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Burma, Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, China, Vietnam, and the list goes on... I don't see America in there... I'm wondering if you even know what oppressive means...

Us "Americans" may be known to be arrogant and "dumb" but you obviously don't know what true "oppression" is.

  • @Zamath119

Thanks for correcting me, I have always thought that opressive is spelled like that.

I don't think you "Americans" are arrogant and dumb, it would be stupid to think that because your country has millions of people.

Yet killing millions doesn't sound like a regime that anyone with empathy would support.

I think that you are opressing parts of the world, because "you" are unjustly harsh and tyrannical.

It's hard for me to get my point across since english is not my mother tongue.

  • @SlipAllCityToy I would not say we are not oppressive but there are many worse countries than us.

  • @Zamath119

I agree that when talking about governments opressing their own people there is places much more terrible, I bet that USA is a great place to live, opressing (at least I think that doing your best at policing the world is opressive) empires look very different from outside.

You are lacking the vision of USA outside USA, and I'm lacking the vision of USA inside USA.

No doubt that it's a great place to live, but please don't try to police the whole world.

  • @SlipAllCityToy

We can't not. The stakes are too high.

  • @deezynar

I'm sorry, could you elaborate on that one?

  • @SlipAllCityToy You cant just ask us to stop supporting our nation because YOU think we are taking over the world, we have a right to love America as much as you love whatever nation you come from... and BTW we are no worse then any other nation, all Penn was saying is that America's set of rules gives us the right to speak freely against things we don't agree with like I am with you, Good day to you sir!

  • @TheWandMaker94

Supporting your nation doesn't do any harm to anyone, I don't feel like I "love" my country or my government, I have a habit of loving things that are living organisms and I take pride in things I had some part in.

I understand that you respect the rules that the founders set, but there is also universal rules that I respect, the kindergarden basics, don't steal others property, don't hurt other people etc.

I feel like 'you' are breaking those rules constantly by killing.

  • A flag is meaningless without a constitution. Well done the US of A!!!!!

  • all the idiots who are blaming america STFU!!its not america's fault, its not even people's fault its the government not america, appreciate the countries and be critical of governments and polticians but please appreciate countries, appreciate not only your own country but other countries.

i love america and i also love france because they originally stood for freedom and liberty, the governments might not but the countries do.

  • @thenvdude - First of all, telling people to STFU because they don't agree with you, shows that you don't respect Freedom of Speech. Second, you don't seem to know what a country is. It is defined by the GOVERNMENT. You can't separate a nation from its government. That goes double in any nation where the politicians are elected by the people. If the majority of Americans REALLY disagreed, they could easily change things. They are part of the system.

  • @MrPlanx i was just a little bit excited, and no man people can't change things, just look around you.all your civil liberities are slowly being taken away, you can protest(if you are lucky and the cops are having a nice day) apart, the democrats and republicans do not allow great leaders (just wait and watch how ron paul fails) to fight for people's votes even the media does that, the government is no longer a participative government which listens to people.

  • @thenvdude - People could change things if they had it bad enough, but they don't - not yet, at least. They work their minimum wage jobs, eat fast food, come home and watch some sports and reality TV shows, and feel grateful to have been born in the "land of the free", because they are so completely ignorant of what the rest of the world is like. They are told that America is the best place (as in this video that is just another cog in the illusion) - and because they have blinders on, it works.

  • @thenvdude he's first in iowa

  • @Madfoot713 thats just straw polls man,i hope ron paul wins but we got to be serious here, republicans are too conservative, even if ron paul wins iowa chances of him getting the nomination are silm,he polled the same numbers in 2007 and he lost, the media is powerful because the people are ignorant and the media supports the status quo, lets hope for the best and hope dr paul wins

  • @thenvdude caucus, not a straw poll

  • @Madfoot713 the caucus hasnt happened yet they are polling random people now, lets wish dr paul luck and hope he wins iowa and the republican nomination

  • @thenvdude i certainly hope so! :)

  • @thenvdude i agree with you on the part that americans are ignorant about the rest of the world.i live in india and over 70% of the people in my country earn less than 2$ a day.and the rest 30% are not that well off, even though they go through college, they have only enough money to buy a small car or use two wheelers for a family of four.

in india you must be a skilled worker if you dont want to live in a slum.

so yeah that's why unskilled ignorant american's should consider themselves lucky

  • @thenvdude thanks for the stereotype dude, I hope you die to your crazy pakistanian neighbors.

  • @dem0nthesis go fuck yourself you ignorant idiot,i live in the real world, the poverty line set by our government and set by the UN Is different, our government can convinently show that the there are less poor people in india by setting a low poverty line

sterotype my ass, there are wealthy indians, there are rich part of cities but most indians consider themselves lucky to have 2 square meals a day and many go to sleep on empty stomachs

  • We, Americans are well aware of our flaws as its broadcasted on the news. I like my country, but there are elements and ideals of other countries i like as well. We adverge a major war evey 10 years, we like war (we ain't good at much else anymore) and we're starting to get bad at that too. We have helped other countries and screwed over many more. Our prisons are over populated, our streets (in major cities) aren't very safe. yeah we suck. I'm not patriotic. But its where i live. get over it.

  • "democracy is the worst form of government, except all the rest that have been made"

  • i got chills

  • America was founded by rich white men who didn't want to pay taxes an owned slaves, while proclaiming that all men are free. America is not prefect by any means, but it is for the most part better then the alternitives.

  • @CamaroAmx Racist and sexist.

  • @CamaroAmx Most of the founding father didn't own slaves and less than 10 percent of the population owned slaves. Get your facts strait before you spout nonsense, Not to mention lots of nations had slavery or profited from it. The USA didnt start it or end it. Its still going on in Africa.

  • Huge coments below

  • I love looking up any videos about the USA and seeing all the xenophobic and hateful comments from non-Americans. Have you not anything better to do?

  • @Tr33M4st3r - Take a closer look. These comments are from AMERICANS, including myself. Patriotism is a tool used to gain compliance to slavery, and MOST Americans have ZERO clue where they really stand in the world. You aren't the worst, of course - but you are FAR from the best nation these days. Comparisons with nations like India and Egypt play well to the redneck crowd. Like I wrote originally here, try comparing yourselves with the BEST places, not some hell hole that's actually worse.

  • Dont tell him to shut up he has a poiny

  • Thumbs up if you looked up this guy only so you could hear things like "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

  • Penn and Teller know how to work a room. Notice Penn mentions places like Egypt and India to contrast with the United States. The same speech would have been rather sarcastic in tone if he had mentioned, say, Switzerland or Finland. They are performers who specialize in deceit and lying - that's their entire act, if you think about it. They have also traveled enough to know better than what they are saying.

  • @MrPlanx SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • @stuntmanmike37 - Typical. Most Americans don't want to face the truth. You live in a fantasy land created by Fox News in which you are kings of the world. The cold hard reality is that America is presently ranked 17th most desirable nation to reside in the world, when the facts affecting QUALITY OF LIFE index are measured. Those factors include life expectancy, cost and availability of housing & health care, education, economic opportunities, crime, unemployment, taxes, human rights, roads, etc

  • @stuntmanmike37 (continued) - Just because you can point to some hell hole on the planet that's worse, doesn't mean you are doing especially well these days. Instead of patting yourselves on the back for being better than Ethiopia, try making some meaningful progress for the first time in 30 years.

  • @MrPlanx We make plenty of progress, and maybe we could work make plenty more if we weren't expected to take care of everyone else's problems.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - Taking care of everyone else's problems? LMAO! You ONLY care about nations that have oil resources you can control! China is the worst offender of human rights violations in the world, and they have been your "most favored trading partner" for decades now - not even taxes on imports from them. Where's your army to invade North Korea? There's a nation that actually DOES have weapons of mass destruction. Stop listening to stupid propaganda and use your brain.

  • @MrPlanx Whatever. I like cheap gas and I like cheap goods. USA A-okay.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - if that's all you care about, then move to Malaysia! Gas there is about half the price of the US, and cheap goods? WOW! That's where half the crap they sell at your Walmart COME FROM. Why is it cheap? Because there are factories with Malaysian children literally beaten and burned if they don't work hard enough, and paid about 15 cents a day. If Americans could SEE what the blood on the "cheap goods" they buy, they would vomit.

  • @MrPlanx Well I'm sure YOU have never purchased goods that were produced in such a manner, right? You probably live off the grid entirely self-sufficiently, huh?

  • @stuntmanmike37 - Not since I left the United States. I agree that you have little choice there these days, but you said you liked cheap gas and goods - and if that's what you care about then Malaysia is your paradise. Personally I buy most clothing and shoes in Finland and Italy where the quality is very good, but still a reasonable price, and made by local people. Food comes from local sources. I never claimed to be into cheap stuff.

  • @MrPlanx Those places sound good, but not one offers all of the individual freedoms that the U.S. does. All those other places compensate for having such good things to offer by restricting others. The U.S. is the only place where I can carry my gun into McDonalds, I can live in any of 50 states without question, I can choose what job I want and how much money I want to make. The U.S. is the only country where I can truly be what I want to be.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - yeah, every lunatic walking around heavily armed. That's REAL good. Let me tell you something. The streets here are safe 24 hours a day. Children can play without fear. There is ZERO chance of being held up at gunpoint, or shot accidentally in some gang hit. Why the hell would you NEED a gun in a McDonalds? Shit, man. Everything you say just proves how you haven't thought anything through - and OBVIOUSLY you have no experience elsewhere.

  • @MrPlanx Wow, how leftest and liberal thinking. To call everyone a lunatic, that's a liberal for you. You know 90% of humans are good people. And I don't know what Utopia you live in; probably one that's socialist no doubt, but here, if someone is gonna try to take my constitutional rights away from me while I'm eating a Big Mac, then I'm gonna shut that fucker down. An armed society is a polite society. I don't understand why you hate us so much. You're the one who's creating conflict.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - An armed society is a polite society? LMAO! Americans are known around the world as THE rudest most arrogant, and obnoxious people on the planet. You don't know the MEANING of the word polite society, if your idea is that it involves carrying a loaded weapon into a fast food franchise. Sheesh. Beyond unreal.

  • @MrPlanx continued--> If you don't want to cheer for your home team, then just get the fuck out of the stadium. No one wants anyone around who isn't gonna contribute positively. You have no fucking right to put down people who have pride in their homeland. I'm glad you don't live here anymore, because frankly, you just seem like a cynical self hating asshole.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - a couple of other points, too. I didn't call EVERYONE a lunatic. Go back and read it again. You parrot phrases like, "The U.S. is the only country where I can truly be what I want to be." - HOW DO YOU KNOW? HAVE YOU BEEN TO EVERY OTHER COUNTRY? OBVIOUSLY NOT. You have been programmed with patriotic propaganda from the day you were born, and you don't even realize it. As for Utopia, every nation has problems. Again, the US is ranked #17 in the world. Not much to be proud of.

  • @MrPlanx Well you don't have much right to be an asshole to people who have pride in their country. Of course no country is perfect; even if I lived in Ethiopia I would still be patriotic and have pride in my country because it is my home. You obviously have no pride or patriotism for wherever you live. I have been to quite a few countries, some I liked very much, but none that I like as much as the US because it is MY home. continued-->

  • @stuntmanmike37 - YOU started this with your original post, and I quote, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" (scroll up and see). That makes you the asshole. Pride in your country is just fine - but Americans are BLIND to their own problems, as you have aptly proven with your responses to me here. Instead of asking intelligent and thoughtful questions, you sit and spin with a flagpole up your ass. ONE thing we DO agree on, though - when you wrote that you are glad I left. Thanks for reminding why I did.

  • @MrPlanx Well, had you stayed, I would have gladly fought to the death to preserve your right to your opinions. I wonder if you're guaranteed the same rights and privileges where you live now. And as for individuals not being allowed to be armed, good luck defending yourself if or whenever your government becomes a tyrannical dictatorship. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - you would have fought to the death to preserve my right to have my opinion? Yet your FIRST words in this were, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" - Like I said, you don't even know the meaning of the word freedom. YES - I can say whatever I want. The entire world has MORE freedom than Americans today with the SINGLE exception of how easy it is to get a gun there - which is a "freedom" that we can do without, thank you. As for rising up against the government - yeah, good luck with that. LOL

  • @MrPlanx First off, the SHUT THE FUCK UP was an ironic quote from Penn Jillette himself. Too bad it was lost on you. So I guess you're just a little worm that would just let anyone who was big and bad enough walk all over you. You would probably have no reservation if the government crashed through your door, raped your wife, murdered your children, and forced you into slavery. Since you don't believe the public has a right to defend themselves you'd probably be more than welcome to this.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - If the government wants to break into your home and murder you and your children, they WILL do it. If you doubt that, then you are completely delusional. Rather than deal with an insane government, it is a whole lot smarter to simply move somewhere that sane minds prevail. Of course to tell the difference between sane and insane, you have to be sane. Clearly this is something of a challenge for you. Sure, take on the entire government with a slingshot for all I care. LOL

  • @stuntmanmike37 Funny you say the word reservation.

  • Patriotism is the virtue of the vicious - Oscar Wilde

  • @mejarhed Oscar Wilde was a faggot.

  • @stuntmanmike37 wrote, "Oscar Wilde was a faggot." - Ahh, another example of your tolerance for other's opinions. Not just tolerance, but your declaration of being willing to "fight to the death" to protect the right of others to speak their mind. Yet you bash down anyone without a thought if they don't agree with YOU. The proble is that you are simply too dumb to recognize when to shut up and listen to people who know better than you. People who are educated and literate.

  • @MrPlanx Like you show impeccable tolerance for other people's opinions. Go give Michael Moore a blowjob pussy.

  • @stuntmanmike37 - First, I never told YOU to shut up. I replied to everything you wrote, while you basically ignored every response I gave you, and changed topics or resorted to silly childish insults like this last one. If nothing I have said has awoken something in you - nothing that tempted you to read more about America as just one nation in the world around you, then you are a lost cause.

  • @MrPlanx Live long and prosper. \\//,

  • Penn & Teller are actors, they are entertainers ... never forget that,

they want to have still have a job after the stick of the day is over.

That is why these guys are so hard on the 9/11 truth movement.

They like their jobs & want to keep doing what they do...

  • @DeepSpace8andahalf Maybe because the 9/11 'truth' movement are nutters. Conspiracy theorists unable to accept reality so they need to believe in fairy tales. A bit like religion and nationalism for that matter.

  • @alanheath3 - Explain why the guy who owned the World Trade Center buildings took out an insurance policy against terrorist attacks just days before it happened. Explain why no intercept jets were scrambled, when that is normal operating procedure for any airline jet off course over a city. Have you even looked into ANY of the facts? Obviously not. It is COMMON KNOWLEDGE around the entire world that 9/11 was coordinated by the Bush administration. Get a clue.

  • @MrPlanx Yes of course it was. And Mickey Mouse is a duck.

  • @alanheath3 - (naturally, no response).

  • @selearemus couldn't agree more

  • Almost 200 viewers... completely missed the point of this video.

  • @gsapp59 There is no such thing as 'the most free country'.

Besides, the US isn't the only country with such freedoms, and when you use the phrase 'it is better to let 100 guilty men free than convict an innocent', take note how many prosecutors sentenced, and still do, to convict an innocent man, regardless of the evidence, thinking only about their career.

USA isn't the best country in the world. Understand that for me.

  • @aFinnsTheory - Indeed. Americans who think the USA is the best country are Americans who haven't lived in any other developed nation in the last 20 years.

  • @MrPlanx I have been all over the world and the USA is the best plain and simple. Other countries have nice things but none of them come close to just being bad ass. USA FTW

  • @cwood4ever - WHICH countries specifically? Let's compare. By the way, traveling there as a tourist for three days, or going to some asswipe place like Iraq with the military doesn't count as having seen the world. I've LIVED in six countries. That means having a job, renting a place, having friends who are local people, having children in school in that country, and experiencing health care there. So DO tell me what countries you have such experiences in that you would actually prefer the USA?

  • @MrPlanx Ive lived in London for 2 years nd awhile in London I moved all around Europe. I spent about 6 months in Paris and worked for a software company. I know what im talking about and there is nothing like the USA. By the way im calling bullshit to your story. Nice try dip shit.

  • @cwood4ever - I've met hundreds of expat Americans over the years, and they all have one thing in common - absolutely ZERO desire to EVER go back to the US again. So I'm calling bullshit on your story, fucktard.

  • @MrPlanx How about I fucking LOL to you because I don't care if you met a few hundred ex pats. OH MY GOD!!! Only 300 million left dip shit. I live next to a British family who has no desire to move back to England. Your points prove nothing and I dont care what you think because I can tell youre a little bitch. When I was in England many Brits asked me advise on the best way to immigrate to the USA since we have less taxes, cheaper land etc. The list goes on and youre a middle aged fuck tard.

  • @cwood4ever - Yeah, England sucks ass, too. No argument there. I wouldn't move to the UK any more than I would move back to the US. But, hey - you like it? Good for you. How are your property values doing? Mine went up 30% in the last five years. Do you have children? You also have very high crime AND the most prisoners in the world (25 % of the world's prisoners but less than 5% of the world's population). Enjoy your Utopia.

  • @MrPlanx Youre an fing liar. You live in the USA

  • @cwood4ever - check my account, fool.

  • If they were born in another country like france for example they would it instead of the usa. That's why patriotism sucks. it's just an accident where you are born.

  • "You can love your country without loving your government."

  • @TheFiveoIce wrote, "You can love your country without loving your government." - Just as many Germans still loved Germany around 1945, I suppose. What was left of it.

  • @MrPlanx lol

  • also tho i would like to say i have nothing agains america or the people and i posiably will live there some day , :)

  • although this is quite good , why do americans think they are the land of the free ? , freedom is in pretty much every nation in the world and america do more than most to take freedom away from people , also democracy is over 1000 years older than the usa and the home home of brave saying is is wrong because bravory requires fear , and america with their budget and population should not be fearfull and act on it , they are just recless and over agressive, i wouldnt call that bravory,

  • @ohsoFactual We continually give up freedoms, but we are still the freest major country. We have a First Amendment that allows us to say just about anything no matter how unpopular, hateful, or critical of the government. That isn't the case in most countries, including Canada and the UK. We give people on trial the presumption of innocence, with the idea of letting a hundred guilty going free to save 1 innocent person. The individual and the rights of the individual are the

  • @ohsoFactual most important part of society. We don't value sacrificing an individual's life for the collective. That's why we allow people to carry guns to protect themselves. That's why we don't force people to get vaccinated. Private property and the ownership of each individual's life is placed on a much higher pedestal. We do a lot of things wrong and have a lot not to be proud of, but our core values spelled out in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence make me extremely proud.

  • @gsapp59 ok im glad i got a rsponse from someone who seems intelegant :) , i understand what your saying , but the things that most americans say they are proud of like the things you said , thats what its like in most coutries but ok :) , also i hope yould agree (you may not) having guns legal is NOT a good thing, its not freedom its just ridicules :D (i cant spell very well, ! :D)

  • @ohsoFactual I disagree. Making racist comments, for example, is illegal in most industrialized countries. Even though racism is ignorant, banning it gives the government subjective authority to put people in jail. Canada has had some outrageous abuses in this regard. You can also argue that society would be better off without guns, but people have them. In a free society you have the right to personal safety and if you think carrying a gun makes you safer against bad people, it should be ok.

  • @gsapp59 so your syaing freedom is a place with no- rules ? lets not mention guns again because i dont mean to be ignorant but anyone who thinks guns being availible to the public is a good idea is retarded, so you think freedom is taken away when your put in jail for a crime ? yes yes it is but what should happen to the criminal then ? by your rules somalia is probiably the most 'free' nation in the world

  • @ohsoFactual Didn't even remotely hint, say or give any indication whatsoever that freedom meant no rules. You obviously have a bias toward that being the meaning of freedom, because you didn't hear it from me. No idea what your jail reference was to.

  • @gsapp59 you are saying making racism illegal gives the goverment authority to put people in jail, well it should be illegal its obvios , also back to what u said ealier which i didnt see , in what way is the US more free than another nation ? (e.g. england)

  • @ohsoFactual If you believe people should be punished by the government by any means with jail no less (loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool) you are insane.

  • @ohsoFactual England does punish racist speech. England has no First Amendment that protects free speech. England put Michael Savage on their country's ban list. They banned a talk show host from the country . England has no right to bear arms. You are guilty until proven innocent in England. England has an even larger welfare state than the US where they rob people of their income to pay for socialized medicine among other big government programs. Those are the things that come to mind.

  • @gsapp59 the first thing im going to say is your wrong , racism deserves punishment - discrimination is against the law braking the law = punishment if not then its a shit country , the 1st amendment and the general american constition is a bull shit was of saying old laws cant be changed ALL sensible things on it have been laws in other countrys for hundreds of years before the us was anything more than 3rd world - having guns is not freedom its just stupid and has literaly no positives

  • @ohsoFactual While I think what is say is well meaning and common among Europeans and many in America, it is misguided. You should read Road to Serfdom which actually gained its initial popularity in Britain. Economics in One Lesson is also great (or you can watch a youtube clip of both books.) Socialism does not work. Private property , free markets and the rights of individuals to as they please as long as they don't physically or financially harm others is what makes a country great.

  • @gsapp59 the NHS is a free helfcare paid for by taxes where you pay much less than what you get , in america people who need simple opperations get left to die if they have no money , hospitals refuse to give people life saving opperations if its to an inconvinience to themselfs - and being american you shouldnt mention goverments , in england WE actualy get to elect the leader unlike the US were its currupt as shit and even when people win they get robbed of it - al gore -

  • Oh god such cheezy bullcrap.

  • @CaraDoSobretudo coming from a brazilian that doesnt mean shit to us.

  • @Grunt922 Im gona regret getting in a discussion here. But how does me being a brazilian have anything to do with wheter this is cheezy bullcrap or not? This is corny and really stupid no matter what country its about.

  • @CaraDoSobretudo we actually take pride in our country. only countries i know that do that are russia, UK, germany, and japan. and with pride for your country comes respect, i respect anyone who takes pride in their country.

  • @Grunt922

Pride for your country is fuel for nationalism and xenophobia. And besides, whats there to be proud of? You were just born there, its just luck.

  • @CaraDoSobretudo lol! american and proud of it. sure, im called a gun toting redneck, but whats funny is i take redneck as a compliment because rednecks, the real rednecks are great americans. and guns are actually my hobby. i own 9 of them, soon to be 11.

  • Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind.

    Albert Einstein

  • @94Cioppa

    Good quote!

  • @94Cioppa

    Also, this ain't nationalism.

  • @94Cioppa He speaks of European nationalism, which is entwined with race and ethnicity; rather than American nationalism which is entwined with the rights of man and natural law.

  • @94Cioppa How is this top comment? Get out of here

  • @Tr33M4st3r Are you offended? I'm not proud to be an American, I'm grateful

  • @94Cioppa Well, I am, and so are Penn & Teller.

  • @Tr33M4st3r you missed the entire point of both the quote and what Penn and Teller did...
