@cbertram11 Its kind of a weird question because any pedal should work with any amp. I mainly use the Laneys drive channel so i dont use many pedals, but im sure it should handle all your pedals fine. Its a very versatile amp as well can play anything from jazz to heavy metal.

i used to have a laney half stack. laney amp + custom kramer was the best sound i ever had. but i fucked it up by having a scalloped neck put on the kramer. never sounded as good after that.

@karolkiryllo Stock tubes EL34s, pres 2, bass 8, mid 5, treb 6, gain 8, drive 8. I was only using the DD7 for this as well

@666RiffsOfDeth666 It can be if you use a tube screamer or some sort of distortion pedal to add more gain. Also changing the tubes to 6L6's will help. I don't play death metal but im sure it would be able to.

Man I just picked up the 50 watt version for $150 USD off craigslist because it had a blown internal fuse. Bad tube shorted it. I thought I'd just pick it up, fix it and throw it back out for full used price, but IM KEEPING THAT FUCKER!!! My modded 5150 is awesome, but it's like an AM radio station and the Laney is satellite radio. I'm so surprised and WHAT A FUCKIN DEAL!!!! I had some spare tubes laying around so it was pretty much just $150 and a new fuse...

@tomroffey666 No, you're the lucky man. You have the Gus G sig axe. Just found the schematic and found where to insert the noise reduction circuit I added to my 5150. It works! Takes two diodes and a 1Meg potentiometer for adjustable or a 1Meg resistor for full effect all the time and no drilling through your chassis. PM me for instructions. Maybe I should do a vid.... I'll wait. I'm gonna slap a mid-sweep on it too so I can choose where the peak frequency is that you boost or cut.

@Saimenism haha yes it is stupidly loud! Yeah the 50 watt would be the go. Make sure you get the cab with celestion vintage 30's for the best sound!
