Hey Pete have you used up all the Hot Mustard and Duck Sauce we sent you in TX? BTW this is really awesome stuff - also glad to see the Roadster is still in action. Glad you have kept doing work with dancers; I wish more people would persue the combination of percussion and dance (not just tumbao or guaguanco (sp?) with cowbell on the downbeats with a foot pedal).
Sorry, Craig, I tried to finish t all and went into renal failure so I had to get rid of it. Thanks for the props - I am now currently teaching music for dance at SUNY Purchase and doing a little accompanying at Juilliard.
The Roadster is still getting a lot of use but I had to black out the logo since I got a little deal with Pearl/Adams. What are you up to these days?
@gridit I live down near the AC Expressway these days, and next year I will start offering lessons out of my studio. I just put up some photos of it on fb. Since the job market has been so bad, I figure I might as well be self-employed. Have to jump through some hoops with the neighborhood Association and the Township, but nothing overly difficult.
BTW, I still have a piece of glow tape on my marimba from this piece. The piece begins in darkness directly after a bright wash of light and because my eyes could never adjust quickly enough, I had to put it there so I could see where first note was!
