  • omar lopez is from mars volta right?

  • The last minute or so reminds me far too much of wet sand

  • I don't know why but this album makes me want to go into my basement with a bunch of analogue tapes and analogue mixers and record a beast of an album.

  • i don't know what is is about this song but it just makes me feel something

  • dobra. przejmujemy ten film!

  • This is fucking beautiful!!

  • you don't form in the wet sand

  • @Psyche718 ur so frekin tight. the world needs more ppl like u

  • how would you call this kind of music? experimental? alternative?

  • @pogorivera good or great does it for me

  • @pogorivera

    expermental rock.. maybe progressive rock?!

    what a dark, special song..

  • @pogorivera frusciante's

  • @pogorivera Good.

  • Love it!

  • holy shit this wet sand

  • stadium arcadium has amazing songs. Wet Sand, C'mon Girl, Dani California, Tell Me Baby, Turn it again, So Much I, Strip My Mind, Slow Cheetah, those are my favs. You can kinda of hear a little bit of this style in Wet Sand guitar parts and C'mon Girls solo. Makes me wonder how another chili pepper album with frusciante sound?

  • i bet that is omar on bass 0_o

  • daaaaym. this is sick plus its free! JOHN FRUSCIANTE <3

  • John is the most intelligent individual i have ever encountered.

  • hahaha at the guy saying this sounds like shit. You must have a completely dull and boring life...actually...yes I KNOW you have a dull and completely boring life. To not understand this music is just...how do I put this..sad?

  • Imagine that you're going home from you're job and you see 1:22. :D

  • @04callwilk1 hahahaa yeah :D you don't form in the wet sandddd! I half expected those chimes to come in and John to start an improv over the top

  • 2:56- You don't form in the wet sand, you don't form at all, woah woooah, you don't form in the wet sannnd, I do.

  • this sounds like shit compared with RHCP

  • @MrRHCP21 you sound like an extremely narrow-minded person, it isn't going to sound like RHCP is it? It's avante-garde it's supposed to be Low-Fi and messy that's what makes it so great... now go back to your mainstream music.

  • @MrRHCP21 cause this isnt RHCP, and RHCP went down the crapper after by the way anyway so this is in a sense alot better

  • @fila365 not true, stadium arcadium got awesome songs..

  • @MrRHCP21 youre an idiot

  • Omar and John are rocking this shit.... And FYI John is god ppl, read a little, he hailed Omar as one of the best guitarists of all time, give the man his due.

  • omar god

  • Omar rocks

  • 1:28 - 1:50 + 2:34 - 3:56 = <3

  • 2:34 is where the magic seems to start to me

  • Comment removed

  • From 2:54 it sounds like murderers!?

Once you know that you can hear it until 3:36

  • @dirkvriesje You don't form in the wet sand,

You don't form at all- Whoa

You don't form in the wet sand,

    I do- Yeah...

You don't form in the wet sand,

You don't form at all- Whoa

You don't form in the wet sand,

    I do! YEAH!!!!!!!!!

  • @Evaderx and then solo!

  • @dirkvriesje agree 100% man

  • @dirkvriesje Oh my god, I never heard that. It reminded me more of Wet Sand but I see the resemblance. Amazing anyways

  • the outro sounds somewhat like wet sand

  • I love how you can here what is played by Omar and what is played by John

  • @Jackalos1 Yeah, I love that too : ).

  • they are completely compatible and relative to eachother and their ways of expressing expression through sound.. through folding and morphing golden waves.. so quick to fill every crevice of my heart with light..

how naturally such a miracle is provoked in my being by such great guitarists is beyond me... but not really.

john and omar are but only the names these angels on earth go by. my deepest, strongest, admiration and awe are with them til the end of my time.

  • @mpdp85 word!

  • great song, its like on a some sort of meta level, incomparable to any other sort of music, you really have to achieve a certain state of consciousness to really feel it.

  • I just jizzed in my pants.

    Repeatedly.

  • This album is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Every single song is a masterpeice.

  • Do Flea play bass too?

    It's so fucking good!

  • ZIM Zero Index Metamaterials

  • why does everyone need a goddamn meaning to a song? Jesus its whatever they feel at that specific moment expressed through music! and i really hope people dont start to put labels on this genius!

  • @ChiliPalmerXD thanks for saying what i thought

  • Comment removed

  • What's the meaning of this song?

  • @SeanDemey that's for you to decide.

  • @SeanDemey song meaning? they really love Invader Zim

  • @SeanDemey Straight from Omar's mouth, "Whatever you think it means."

  • IV V Vi progressions ftw! this is my favourite song off this album. could asily be my favourite jf song but so could a million others :D

  • glad these two met

  • Well that was fuckin amazing

  • @123451a Those were my words exactly when I first heard the whole album beginning to end.

  • does anyone know how they make that wah effect sound? if that isn't specific enough, its the one that goes through the whole song and is, like, the first sound in the song

  • @af1sCore using a wah pedal, mate. You play the note, and slowly press down on the pedal to get it to 'wah' like that. I'm sure they're using other effects to get that real distorted tone, but to get that wah effect you use a wah pedal ;)

  • @Theblob516 nah it's sounds something more like a synthesiser that just has a frequency sweep that's whats making those weird "wah" noises but the general Lofi effect is a synth.

  • @groovey65 you could be right, knowing john and omar it's probably way more complicated than just a simple pedal.

  • The last minute is awesome, it feels likeit's borrowed from the end of Under the Bridge

  • @Floot it sounds more like wet sand to me

  • @Floot amazing. regardless. John is a legend. So is omar.

  • What an amazing album!

  • Just beautiful...T_T

  • 2:50 !

  • @cwienty You're so right. That last minute is amazing...
