A Sly anime would not be bad. I would love Toei Animation, TMS, Studio 4C, or Sony's own A-1 Picture to do the anime. the episode can be like the Devil may cry anime. Here's one problem, this anime will be aim at little kid not hardcore anime fan. So, no Graphic violence, no blood/gore, no swearing, no ecchi or perverted stuff, no adult humor, and the like of adult-oriented anime.
Actually, a lot of the anime you see is meant for kids because censorship isn't a big issue in Japan. For America, all they have to do is censor it a bit.
@C: uh, there are a lot of anime that are adult-oriented like Cowboy Bebop, have you watch that? Rosario+ Vampire is another one, ever watch that? Also, anime have face censorship in Japan. Rosario+ Vampire was censored for Panty shot. Also, Dragonball Kai was censored in Japan just recently. If Sly Cooper had an anime. I think this will be aim more at kid, since when does Sly Cooper anime will have graphic violence, blood/gore, and nudity. It'll just be dumb down to kid anime level.

@mdo7 Though isn't the point of the game to sneak in sneak out? to cut someone's head off as suggested in your comment would defeat the purpose of stealth. But I do get your point on the blood gore thing, people do get hurt when you hit them with a cane. And bloodshed is likely. So good point.

The animation is pretty cool, but this big-snouted version of Carmelita... um, I prefer the Comic Book-esque, snoutless Carmelita. However, I like the Clockwerk BIG reference at 01:35.
I thought "it'd be cool if the next Sly games included cutscenes of this kind", but almost instantly I realized: "But then, we would miss the American Comic Book style..."
