  • What a awesome way to finish vault at the Olympics for her! That was just amazing! I just ready Kerri Strugs book, she says there was a lot of confusion when they went to vault, half the team left their stuff over by the floor and had to run back, and try only had a 30second warm up on the vault or something like that, and she and Dominique M were confused on what vaults they were supposed to be warming up and they warned up the Arabian, instead of the 1 1/2, so it threw them off when it was th

  • why are you guys having orgasmic fights over the fact she stuck this vault,

    1) She fucked it up (TWICE) in the team competition

    2) She did not medal in the AA b/c she fucked up her beam routine

    3) She didn't even qualify to vault finals

ONe stuck vault means nothing if it doesnt fit in a bigger picture of medalling for yourself or your team. 96 was not her year.

  • nastia liukin stuck that vault at like every meet she went to in 2008.

  • are you kidding? nastia has been doing this vault ever since she came onto the senior elite scene in 2005.

  • she does a 1 1/2,, and who cares, we werent talking about shawn johnson. vaullt is one of her stronger events, where vault is nastia's weakest.

  • Well your comparison is completely stupid. First you say that Nastia doesn't compete a Yurchenko, then you say that she competes a 3/4 Yurchenko (who does that?) and now you're trying to defend yourself. It's absolutely ridiculous.

  • She has been competing the same vault since she went elite, so who cares whether you're talking about her Olympic or Worlds vaults? Also, you think you'd realize that there's no such thing as a 3/4 Yurchenko if you really are a "gymnasticsloverxoxo"...

  • I was reading a website that listed every move to all her routines and for your information I do not think you know what every skill in gymnastics is called so you should not make a comment that you know everything, cause you don't.

  • actually i do know what every move in gymnastics is called, since i am a gymnastics coach and coach kids at the elite level... its you who doesn't know what you are talking about so get educated before you make comments...

  • Okay look I am not getting into a fight with you over the fact that you think you know everything, cause we both know what the answer to that is. So I would appreciate if you could not reply to this comment so we can end this string of comments......

  • It's actually pretty easy to know what every move is called if you've been a fan of the sport for a few years. Just takes watching a lot of competitions, reading about routines, and being a coach obviously helps ...

  • um... what are you talking about? she does a 1 1/2 just like moceanu

  • Like I explained the website was clearly wrong.

  • she does a 2 1/2 actually.

  • no that would be shawn johnson, nastia has competed a 1 1/2 for a very long time.

  • nastia does a 5/2, not a 3/4. and she NAILED it at the olympics and beat out shawn johnson--who btw didn't stick her landing

  • bahaha!! shawn didnt STICK?? bahahahaha!!!! shawn barely got CREDIT for her yurchenko 2 1/2.

    BAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • Yes, clearly another person who can not read, I said many times that I was WRONG, the website that said that was clearly WRONG. Shawn does one of the most difficult vaults in the world that only a handful of girls can do so you can not compare those two on vault.

  • no, you're right. she did do a yurchenko and she did stick it most of the time. but dominique is just... i don't know. for some reason she just looks more powerful than nastia.

  • Its because Dominique had more height and distance than Nastia. Nastia's vault was quite weak compared to most 1.5Ys.

  • @iloverocknroll888 probably cause she shorter....

  • Dominique Dawes stuck the vault at the 1994 worlds team finals.
