  • Religion is like a penis, its ok to have one, but you can't go around shoving it down people's throats.

  • How ironic that the girl speak about getting 'saved', when to get 'saved' one has to brainwashed into losing one's mind.

    Talk about a horrible exchange

  • Why do these children breathe so much!!??!?!?

  • peer pressure

  • GET OFF OF MY LAWN YOU DAMN KIDS!!!!

*shakes fist angrily as they run into the distance*

  • I feel like I'm watching a trailer for a horror movie

  • I like the neighbor girl...she seems level-headed

  • That child is going to be so fucking annoying as a teen.

  • these kids grow up brainwashed, then teach theyre kids, then theyre kids teacher theyre kids... these brainwashes are multiplying!

  • I had one of these kids in a science camp. He was homeschooled and taught out of a christian science book. He camp every day with a subway meatball sub he was a very strange kid and tried to convert one of the other children. Needless to say I feel bad for him

  • It's sad how the girl next door to her can't even get a word in the conversation. It's almost demeaning the way the girl talks to her neighbor on camera for the world to see. It's despicable and sad.

  • @lonelygothgirl2 I think the girl next door was more shy. However, she did talk. I am sure that the girl next door could of left or spoken right up if she wanted to. All Rachel said was that she never went to church before.

  • Rachel is so mind fucked. It's sad.

  • becky fisher single handedly turn christianity into the next kkk

  • as a nonbeliever, I can honestly say that this is absolutely horrifying.

  • I got to comment on the opening header 'Rachel saves the neighbour'......Only Jesus can save. His death on the cross was the only way to save mankind from their sins if only people believe it. I just feel that these youngsters though their hearts are in the right place are making the faith in Jesus look like a cult. It's not like that!

  • @shazynysmon You are right only Jesus can save. I myself get upset at street preachers that yell at people and never talk about Jesus, salvation, and the kingdom of Heaven. Love, salvation and the kingdom of Heaven is what Jesus preached. Rachel is only witnessing. Statements in the film was cut off and pasted together. Levi said that in an interview at age 18 or 19. You can see it on youtube. Plus, Becky wrote a book called "Jesus Camp, My Story" she tells her side of the making of the film.

  • thank you to the moviemakers. this film made me really think and haunted me for a long time. it's horribly disgusting to watch and listen to what these people have to say, brainwashing their kids...it hurts

  • I've watched enough religious bullshit to know where this is going.

  • im not sure which is worse the people who preach to these kids all of that bull shit or the kids that actually believe it even thou i know they will believe because they get scared into it

  • "I will deal with their children, mom and dad you deal with their parents" that sounds evil

  • Her neighbour friend did seem all that 'saved'. In fact she seemed to have more than just a little doubt.I wonder if Holly's parent would allow her to have non-Christian friends?

  • does anybody know if Rachael has a Facebook page? I would love to talk God with her:D

  • Question, if you saw a blind man heading towards a cliff, wouldn't you try to warn him? That's why Christians do what they do. Be glad some of us have religious freedom, as you also have the right to reject God.

  • @GFBrooke I'm not talking religious freedom or conviction here. I'm talking plain and simple mental hygiene and social function. That kid is not witnessing from the kind of place you yourself would ultimately want for her. Oh -- but it's all up to God, isn't it? If God needs her mentally ill, you'll praise the eternal and pat yourself on the back for upholding the system that hurts her. If God wants her off his own cliff, you'll watch her being pushed. Hypocrite.

    Hypocrite!

  • @manthasagittarius

I'm not apart of any religious "system". If this system is in fact affecting her negatively than they are in the wrong. Personally I was more of a messed up person before I became a Christian, which was less than a year ago. You don't have to be indoctrinated as a child to have bad social skills, as I have had very few friends in my lifetime. God has been more faithful to me than any person and I'm sure the same is true for her.

  • @GFBrooke You, and every other religion, think they're right.

  • @XxcrawlinginmyskinxX

Look up the difference between Christianity and every other religion. The first difference is that Christianity is not a religion. Look up the dead sea scrolls and other endless evidence that supports the Bible.

  • @GFBrooke Nobody can even agree where those scripts came from, all that proves is the bible's been around longer than we thought. What does that change, exactly? That's no more evidence than me saying since chimps have been around for x amount of years, that's evidence we evolved from them. Christianity is a religion, just like Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, the Jewish, the Muslim, all of those. And that probably upsets you, you know yours is right, but so do they.

  • @GFBrooke What if the blind man was aware of the cliff and just wanted to walk over and stand towards the end of it?

  • @BriannaBlog

    ha then that's his choice

  • Rachel has the look of a child at risk for something dissociative -- her gaze pattern is not normal. She looks as though she is reading some kind of script somewhere in the middle distance, not only in this clip but in several others. Without making any comments about the religion she is being handed at all, she still needs to be handled with more sensitivity, especially about her interpersonal and interactive skills. She could end up terribly emotionally isolated.

  • @manthasagittarius

I agree with you there. I am a Christian but she seems to be narrow minded in her pursuit of evangelizing. Hopefully as she gets older she will be able to see things from others perspective but I guess that's true for all kids. Not that I'm criticizing her for being bold about witnessing because she has more boldness and obedience than most adults.

  • Why do they say "Get saved?" like "get sick", "get pregnant," "get taken for a ride," or "get robbed"? The sense is of being passively acted upon, as in exploited.

  • Creepy

  • The wrath of God is nothing to play around with. Take note that every careless word you say you will have to account for on judgement day. I have said many wicked things but thank God the blood of Jesus washed away my sins. I am thankful He died and rose again on the third day. Through Jesus we become a new creation and have eternal life. The Father has much grace for those who trust in His Son, Jesus.

  • @GFBrooke OH DEAR WHAT A WASTE OF A LIFE YOUR LIVING RIGHT NOW.

Honestly you have no logic, no self hinking, no respect to education in learning. You will no doubt come back and say some sort of god is great and so forth, pity such human thoughts as yours is scared to look at the bigger picture of life and can only use threats against other human beings...which I guess makes you christian.

  • @stonewall1888

I'm sorry if you took my comment as a threat, I was just telling you the truth about God. No Christian has the right to threaten another human being for we are all created in God's image. The Bible says that God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. I'm sorry but God is the greater picture in life. I used to think like you until God knocked me down to a humble state. I forsook my arrogance and gained eternal life through the Lord Jesus.

  • @GFBrooke Can you explain your original comment in where you seem to think its not a threat. I have a question for you

If you were God and you caused an earthquake in india in where 3 million souls were killed, would you place them straight into hell????

  • @stonewall1888

I wasn't threatening anyone as I don't have the ability to send or save anyone from Hell. I was just simply saying that Jesus did come to make atonement for our sins. Some people, believe it or not, will be happy to receive that message. Maybe not on Youtube, but I will continue telling those I meet.

As for the question about India, I won't answer because I am not God and cannot always understand why things happen.

  • @GFBrooke you trolling? if you're not, im sorry to say you're deluded

  • @Logicmaster91

    guess I'm deluded then :)

  • @GFBrooke and you're fine with it? man how do you think?

  • @Logicmaster91

I'm not actually deluded. That's just your opinion. I find it funny that people reject something that they don't give the time to research. We all have the right to a belief.

  • @GFBrooke but you know how many aspects of your holy book are either 1) not applicable to modern society 2) totally disproven by science. i mean some teachings give you comfort but, buddy, this doesnt make then true. and of course you have the right to belief, just saying you could very well be mistaken.

  • @Logicmaster91 I've read about evidence that both supports and doesn't support evidence of the Bible. People who claim that they are 100 percent sure that the Bible is totally untrue concern me. Even as a Christian I'm looking at both science and biblical evidence. Sure, there are some things that I have to take in faith but that's what Christianity is about. You just have to Believe and the Bible says you will become a new creation. I've seen God change lives as well as my own

  • @GFBrooke evidence that supports evidence? o.O the misleadint/untrue statements and teachings in the bible outshine the little bits it got right. you base your life on a book which claims the earth is flat, 4000 or 6000 years old, the universe is 10000 years old, the earth is the center of the universe and sun oribts around it.... facts like these make people wonder whether it is the divine word,,or just a bunch of stories made up by tribesmen. people who done consider this worry me.

  • @Logicmaster91

Yes, The Bible was written by man but was inspired by God. I don't find it troubling that some of the beliefs of that time made it into the writings of those men. I understand your skepticism because I still question things myself. But it's in our fallen nature to question God. It ultimately comes down to faith, not intelligence. But it doesn't have to be blind faith.

  • @GFBrooke exactly, which makes it no better than any other gious book... i mean, ultimately i do believe the universe had some sort of supernatural cause, but its a huge claim to say we are made in his image, yet alone regard him as the christian god

  • @Logicmaster91 *religious

  • @GFBrooke But faith IS blind, that's the problem.

  • @GFBrooke thats an arrogant statement 'god changes lives'. its as if you assume god exists in the first place. id say inspiration and motivation changes lives. god is somehow made the recipient of these things because of the act of huge, collective worhsip- other word for hallucination (not in its strict meaning, but you get me im sure). and good for you if your life got changed....id like to point out that 'god' also makes people fly planes into buildings

  • Making insults about this girl won't make God disappear. God is our Creator and created us to walk in perfect fellowship with Him. Then sin entered the world when Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden tree. Now we all inherit the sin nature of Adam. Now we are separated from God. So what does our creator do? He becomes flesh (Jesus, the Son) and takes the wrath of God that we deserved. All who believe on Him will be saved but without Him you will surely parish. Repent and turn to Jesus

  • Horror...

  • America

  • Does religion make kids dumb?

  • @StigmatiX YES it sure does

  • Why do brainwashed people have a glazed look? Its sort of a manic or neurotic look or something. Maybe feverish looking. Its like an immobility in the face and strange eyes and frozen cheeks - is there a word for that look? Its like they are possessed or soulless or personless. Its really really freaky.

  • @lucyinatree Hmm that's really interesting. I don't think there is a specific word for that but I think you got it when you say "brainwashed". That's probably the most appropriate word but it does not describe a state of physical appearance. Zombified, catatonic (from the nose up), awestruck, agog, vacuous... any of those might do, but you are right, there should be a specific word for that look. One can think deeply about your comment. It inspires critical thought on many levels

  • did that liittle girl use peer pressure like teens do when they wont someone to have sex or do drugs lol

  • they're "dealing with" Holly and her parents? That sounds really fucking creepy.

  • children of the corn.

  • Shes creepy

  • That's fucking creepy "Here join my cult of zombie children", that must be a little like how the Hitler youth groups started.

  • anybody else think this girl is kinda off?

  • wow, Holly is a bamf

  • it just bugs me so much that she says "my parents are dealing with her parents and i'm dealing with holly" as if she's not really friends with her, she just wants to "save" holly and feel better about herself for doing so.

  • @saravanbeek1 Also shows how people of a religious nature stick their noses into other people's private affairs and try to impose their beliefs onto them.

  • Not only do little kids get brain washed, but they get turned into brainwashers

  • @fannyslapper33 yeah just like zombies

  • jesus sucks

  • Does this horror film show any confrontation between these children and a muslim/jew/atheist? I'd really like to see how they'd behave.

  • man if u think this is creepy check out the showers at penn state

  • i would never let my child go to these peoples house ... fuck that

  • She's growing potatoes? Inform GLaDOS!!!

  • Holly sure is sad and lonely without God.

  • Holly is all please stfu now Rachel

  • Nothin like little creepie bitch for a next door naibor[Miss spelled]

  • HOLLY NOOO!!!!

  • Such a creepy little thing, ain't she?

  • get them while there young, thats the christain way.

  • @lebronjamesXD Same with the drug and tobacco companies. ;-)

  • That girls creeps me the fuck out

  • that was the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen. what a condescending child.

  • they'll both wind up being hardcore anti-theists

  • The word "saved" should be replaced by the word "brainwashed"... it would fit this whole religious theme much better!

  • Holly in twenty years: YAY! I'm happily married, a proud mother, and I just got a great promotion and a HUGE raise!!!!!!

Rachel in twenty years: *Standing on sidewalk while holding out a bible* ABORTION AND WAR ARE BAD! GOD SAYS KILLING IS WRONG!

Bystander: READ THE DAMN THING! IT'S FULL OF WARS AND DEATH! IT'S A HISTORICAL RECORD OF THE ANCIENT JEWS!! Well, 99% of it any way.

  • Racheal should be one of these little girls in horror movies!

  • @ranel63 well said ! this girl is far more scary than the adult versions

  • "im dealing with holly"....I'm brainwashing holly

  • Rachel is so annoying.

  • Religion, a way for the useless to feel useful...

  • You can say what you want about her, but I admire the fact that Rachel is so independent in her thoughts at such a young age, whilst other children at the same age are indoctrinated and have their parents beliefs (good, or bad) imprinted on their brains, as is the case with the egotistical Holly.

  • @CoN0R115 you gotta be kidding me

  • Rachel's a scary little girl...did anyone else notice that her laugh seems forced? She seems fake somehow...*shivers*

  • @loveandpentagrams i am glad someone else feels that way ... she seems a little .... terrifying . and annoying

  • How much you wanna bet, if Holly's parents told Rachel's parents they were atheists, Rachel wouldn't be allowed to play with Holly anymore?

  • So basically, you're trying to brainwash your best friend? Oh man, I think Holly better watch out!

  • I liked rachel she was my favorite person at jesus camp... if i ever have a daughter, i hope shes just like her.....minus the brainwashing

  • in this video i learned the following.

    1. potatoes for jesus...

    2. dog's in church..CRAZINESS!!!!!1

    3. jesus dog...woah there guy, hold on now...

    4. ...these kids are crazy....

  • is it just me or do some of these fundie kids seem a bit off in the head, is it the brainwashing or the partial inbreeding, or a bit of both?

  • the church is a satanic organisation ..jesus said go in your room and lock the door if you want to pray.

  • @nycballer4life just like masturbation

  • @nycballer4life Because he, along with many thousands of Jews (Especially in Galilee aka Israel) were persecuted by the Romans. You had to be careful about what you did around them, or it meant Crucifixion. Or torture, or whipping, or public humiliation, etc., etc.

  • @TheWitchWay cool :)

  • @TheWitchWay nicely put, btw are you a pagan (becuase of the name :) )

  • @Glovefullavasoline You're welcome.

  • @Glovefullavasoline It's you're. You know, it's nice you can admit you made a mistake. Where you get the ensuing hostility, I'll never know. You must be a christian!

  • I went to a Christian private high school and they tried to save me a million times. Pissed me off.

  • @Glovefullavasoline In the 1900's, cars were rare & expensive + there was no electricity, no telephones, no modern fabrics, no choice in what you did for a living, most people living on farms, no antibiotics, no modern medicine, no tetanus shots, no dentistry for most people, no social mobility, no universal suffrage and no shoes for most people. I never said anything about flat earth, you cretin.

If you meant the 20th century, you should have written so. Otherwise, 1900's means 1900 - 1910.

  • I like how her parents and her are "dealing" with them. Pretty bad choice of words.

  • @theclamorofcate Yeppers! REAL neighborly!

  • No person has the power to "save" another. This is ridiculous.

  • sanctimonious nutjob. Dominionists are loonie

  • Listen,I have seen this documentary a million times and every time i leave the film noticing something else other than brainwashing and child abuse. You got to give the christians some credit, they may be crazy about jesus, but if they got crazy for something that will actually benefit the world........think about it.Imagine all the christians in the world say "fuck,jesus...solving world hunger is where its at"!!!!

  • @chewby1333 Thats what Christians are trying to help out with... solving world hunger. Seriously? Whats so wrong about christians? We're not bad people at all. Get to know us before saying all these things.

  • @abusehater101

There are Christians out there who are legit good people and not fundamentalist blank-faced contradictions who make it their life's goal to conquer the world, but seriously Evangelicals tend to do more harm than good sad but true. I know because I wrote my thesis chronicling fundamentalism throughout 21st century America. You want a prime example look at what they've done to say oh I dunno... UGANDA for instance.

  • @Evenflowist314 The christians I know very kind and trying to bring people to Jesus and praying for people and loving on people. We love people. All people. We believe we are all equal. The murderer and the saved are the same. The only thing separating us is that we asked God for forgiveness and hopefully are living for him and a life of repentance. If you do not love all people, walk with Jesus, try to help people, and haven't been saved, then you aren't a true christian.

  • @abusehater101

That's great and I'm glad your intentions are good but honestly if people choose to live their own lives without submitting to organized religion then it's their choice. We don't need salespeople trying to sell us a product because honestly, that's what it's become and the moment someone isn't interested, they're either ignorant or doomed to burn in Hellfire. Originally, fundamentalism began on the east coast in the early 20th century, and they kept it PERSONAL. What happened?

  • @Evenflowist314 What happened? Trying to expand heavens' population happened. If your not willing to give God a chance then how do you know anything about him at all? You can't. Because if you pray and ask god if he's real and if he's there and you read the Bible and wait until he answers HE WILL ANSWER. Trust me!

  • @abusehater101

Listen, it's great that you believe what you do and I'm happy you're so certain that you know how the Universe works but honestly, Christians are supposedly here to simply spread a message, NOT convert others into an army to "expand Heaven's population." That implies you're solely in the game for your own selfish interests. Pretty sure that's the exact opposite of what Jesus was. It's simple, live well, treat others well, respect those who respectfully disagree. The end.

  • @abusehater101 if being in heaven means I have to spend eternity with smug, sanctimonious christians then I'll pass on heaven

  • @TheGreaterGood80 No. Heaven is full of humble loving souls that loved God while on earth. But I'm sure nobody would want to go there... I've heard that saying on every religion and its getting annoying.

  • @abusehater101 Some of the worst people who ever lived were people who "loved God", and apparently hell is chock full of decent folks who were not part of Christendom. What a heart warming fate.....

  • @abusehater101 Because of these crazy ass christians.I have been to a christian church,i have read the bible,i have some good friends of mine try to get me saved.....but its extremists like these people, who put their kids through this obvious emotional torture.I have nothing against christians....no one likes extreme muslims either, but there are normal people that happen to be muslim.

  • @chewby1333 Emotional torture? Do they look tortured to you? They worship the God thy truly believe in and people like you make them feel bad about it.

  • @abusehater101 They are being LIED to,and taught about things that they shouldn't even know at that age.....what ever happened to kids being kids?running around playing games they made up,listening for santa,or crying because your big brother broke your toy?Yea,this is a waste of a childhood.

  • @chewby1333 even just walking around the neiborhood with a stick and hitting things! LOL

  • @chewby1333 Nope. They are being told the truth which most people these days don't teach their kids and they grow up to be jerks. Ever heard of the 1900's? When everyone brought their kids to church and raised them the right way and everyone was happy and the kids ACTUALLY got to be kids withou all of the brain cell killing technology? THAT was a real childhood. They look happy. Do they not? I love how you bring up santa but then criticize how they are being lied to about Jesus Christ.

  • @abusehater101 The 1900's?When the world was flat and scientists lives were threatened if they went against the church?Yea....everyone was real happy......by the way in the 1900's the age of reason began. The point is,is that Im not saying practicing your own religion is wrong but when it conflicts with the separation between church and state....and teaching them about ending abortion, when these little girls didn't even get their period yet.

  • @abusehater101 The 1900's?! No cars! No telephones! No electricity! No modern fabrics! No choice in what you did for a living! Most people in the US living on farms! Short lifespan! No antibiotics! No modern medicine! No tetanus shots! No dentistry! No social mobility! No universal suffrage! No shoes, most likely!

You are imagining a past which never existed. Most people's lives in the 1900's were nasty, brutish and short. That would likely include yours if you were back then.

  • @MsJK21 Actually.... all of that came out in the 1900's so your making yourself look REALLY stupid. haha.... and And nothing your saying is true LOL

  • @abusehater101 All of what came out in the 1900's? And what do you mean by "came out"? If you think that "the 1900's" means the 20th century, you are wrong. "The 1900's" means from 1900 to 1910.

The electrical grid, cars, planes, radio and phones had been invented, but were too expensive for the majority of people to afford. Only urban dwellers had them or access to them.

You would most likely be on a farm or in a tenement, working 18 hours a day by candlelight, kerosene or gas lamp.

  • @chewby1333 I had a good friend who worked for years in African relief efforts and she would never hire any religionist. They were all hopelessly naive and simply couldn't handle the tough conditions and choices. They would give a hopelessly dying child medicine, for example, thus denying medicine to a child who could have made it. Or they'd berate a man with 5 wives and 20 kids, all starving (completely missing the irony of that lifestyle being biblical!). That kind of thing. Useless.

  • @MsJK21 Thank you for your reply to my comment, and thank you for giving a valid point.I have my own religious views and because this is America anyone can practice freely......but when,as you said, conflicts with your judgment in a negative way, something needs to be done.

  • @chewby1333 Absolutely! Thanks for being sane.

  • I would love to see a Muslim family move next door.

  • A textbook example of psychological child abuse. Poor child.

  • @SwtCassy There is no god. There is no such thing as "saving."

Also, the bible says not to worship false gods. Jesus himself says he is not God. Therefore, it is a sin to worship him.

  • @tjhombs If you believe there is no God, then by what means can you say it is a sin & what the bible says? Tell me where in the bible it says Jesus said he wasn't God, please..& thanks.

  • I can't imagine having Rachel or the other hardcore kid in my house or around my kids. That would just creep me out. I'd tell her to stop talking or leave. Even the other kid said it was getting old. "Sweety, can you shut up now?"

  • so sad

  • Holly don't ever become a christian! Poor Rachael so brain washed, it should be criminal!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @00youknow Holly's going to watch this movie in ten tears when she's in college and really not like her old friend Rachel.

  • Holly will grow up to be a woman of success. Rachael will grow up to be a slave to her husband who is also her master, just like the bible intended

  • why are all uber christian people ugly hmmm give me and answer to this one please..

  • It's like a drug dealer. "Here, take this first fix of Heroin. You'll really like it, and hey, there's nothing wrong with getting high, right?"

  • Wow I feel so sorry for the children in that community.

  • -_-

  • It is in our lives and not our words that our religion must be read.

    -Thomas Jefferson

  • Hey Holly! You're my best friend ever, but I still believe you deserve to be tortured forever!

Why do fundies love making enemies out of friends?

  • Scary drone.

  • Kids shouldn't have to think of things like warfare, spiritual or any other; they have a right to feel secure.

  • nope - doesn't sound like a cult at all

  • @faithandproof , your a dick . . .

  • This kind of brainwashing is deplorable. Imagine that this woman actually chose a profession that enables her to lie to children. There should be laws against this. My atheist friends will enjoy "Religios fanatic debates Atheist" on my channel.

  • Comment removed

  • JESUS NOT MORE THAN A MESENGER.

  • @faithandproof ALLAH IS A FAKE.

  • @magicmanslim WEEBLE WABBLE WEEBLE WABLE ONE OF US.

  • I'm an atheist and my best friend is Christian. Neither of us have ever tried to convert the other. If my friend ever turned out to be like Rachael, I would move.

This video makes me very sad.

  • @Sdog7765 amen, i wish people could just coexist like you and your friend. Im a christian but in no way feel hate towards atheists or people of any religion (as long as they arent extremist)

  • I'm sorry, I think you made a typo in the title. It should be 'Rachael SLAVES The Neighbor'....

  • @theyneverdie Amen to that.

    See what I did there?
