Many have copied. Imitated. Styled after the M3. But none came close to the real thing. Mercedes tried, Audi tried, Lexus tried but failed to over come an almost 5-year old M3. That's how you know BMW built a great car. One that IS one of the greatest cars in history along with its old brothers the E46 M3 and E36 M3. If you can't beat it, be it. Or at least try.

See Mercedes-Benz was ranked the most reliable car in the world, thats up until they were greedy and cut their 3-billion budget for quality and reliability. Well said...M3's have been and always be at the pinnacle...So have others, but the M3 and M5 have always been the car to strive for at that price point. You can try and compare a Z06 to an M3 but once you sit inside the M3....well, the Vette's interior has improved but only if you get the package that has the stitching on the leather. Otherwise you get mediocre interior with a good car but once again, not the complete package.

The comments are amazing. The car was built to compete in the National Autosport Association (NASA) German Touring Series (GTS) Challenge. Specifically in the GTS4 class. It's not a street car, it's not a ruined car, it's a race car built from a series production E92 M3. All GTS cars are required to be from a German manufacturer, ie BMW, Porsche, Audi, etc. Hopefully, that clarifies some of the confusion and alleviate some of entertaining comments.
