very good work on the production, but i still think you're a ways off from beating an already made fan game; metroid redemption.

also, (please dont bad rate me for this just my opinion!!) Game Maker, just seems like the world's most biggest waste of time. If you want to make a new version of Metroid, Get either Fusion of Zero Mission, and Double Helix . With them, you can mod the maps, spriites, doors, and everything.

Yea, you guys obviously havent played a good game maker game. I can say this because I have made a better game. The only thing is im using Game Maker 7 and he's using verion 6. Still though you need to fix the bombing, shooting, jumping, and before Samus goes into a morph ball form she crouches so you need to fix that too. Why not play some more Metroid games and watch what happens before you actually make your own game.

I'm sorry, but I simply cannot believe how people can call something like this good... It needs TONS of work. The shots get stuck sometimes, the jumping is just Samus running, the doors are simple granite crap, you can spam bombs in morphball until your finger falls off... It's just so flawed... The only good thing to come out of this, is that when my team at Tokinsom Software gets something new out, that people will be going nuts over it, because it won't have so many little flaws in it...

Check out some of my videos... -~Tokinsom~- is made up of TWO people, and ONE of them does all the programming, sprite ripping, and actual game design... I, personally, am pretty much just around to encourage him and give him ideas here and there. This is nothing compared to what my friend can accomplish in 1 night.

Agreed. The thing with Tokinsom is that they don't need a large team to make a good game. They've got skill and motivation, and it looks like it's paying off. Though this game clearly needs more work, we all start off somewhere, and if the kid works hard enough he just might be able to do better later on.
