  • madrecka' you know you miss baton rouge' look you left more comment on baton rouge then anyone else...... southside bottom life

    free boosie

  • @225Southbatonrouge I was just there last week but the streets were raggity as usual. I'll visit there because of relatives but I'll never live there.

  • baton rouge is sure a lot better than overrated new orleans

  • I loved growing up in BR in the 80's and 90's. So much stuff to do. Too bad the NOLA trash ruined it after Katrina. It was such a wonderful place before them......

  • What an ugly and small skyline. New Orleans have the Best skyline in Louisiana plus a nice SuperDome. I love my skyline. And the Superdome should be called " The New Orleans Superdone," not " The Louisiana Superdome."

  • @Joshuaguss If New Orleans wants to call it the "NOLA superdome", then maybe NOLA should be the one paying for it, not the entire state. Just a thought.

  • @Joshuaguss...New Orleans could not afford the cost of calling it the N. O. Superdome!!! Without the tax money coming out of B.R. New Orleans could not survive.

  • Gotta love BR!

  • Ill tell you that going from baton rouge back to california felt as though I had gone to a different country. One with legitimate infrastructure built to withstand its population, without pieces of shit workers at EVERY retail place, without poor motherfuckers asking me for change every god damn time I get gas or trying to sell me bullshit rap cd's. Fukinass is right, if you can avoid Baton Rouge, do it AT ALL COSTS!!!! Once you leave LSU's campus its nothing but hicks and poorass black people.

  • I'm from L.A. originally and I use to live in BR; and yes that place sucks ass. But I will say that not blacks are poor once you leave LSU's campus.

BR is a terrible place to live and I'll never live there again.

  • Look at my beautiful city!!! I love where I'm from and I will agree that people think Baton Rouge is small but that's farrrrrr from the truth!

  • the Baton Rouge skyline has actually grown quite a bit since this video. At one time, I was not so enthusiastic about B.R., but the last few years have brought significant growth to the city. The Baton Rouge Metro Area includes over 700,000 people- so this is not a small city at all.

  • you're right!

  • fuck you who hate baton rouge

  • i just visted baton rouge , iam from the valley , and letme tell you , its beautiful iwas impresed . if i ever want to move , i wil move to this city, the onlythink is that iam scare of the tornados jajaa

  • don't waste your time thinking about living in Baton Rouge. San Diego, and Phoenix is much better plus you don't have to deal with that hot ass humid weather in the summer time.

  • okk..i live in baton rouge, of course it isnt L.A. or NYC..but baton rouge is far from small. I dont know who lied to some of you thinking BR is small..BR is a steady growing CITY. Yes BR is a city, and this isnt a really good video of our skyline, you have to visit BR to really see the city, and BR has alot of great things to offer including entertainment. Its the second biggest city in the state behind new orleans, and both cities are 45 - 50min apart.

  • I hate baton rouge, its boring, poverty stricken, dead, country, and full of stupid hicks and old people. I can't wait to get the fuck out of here. If any of you are thinking about living here or even visiting here...DON'T DO IT BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

  • hey dipshit my girlfreind is from their. fukinass. and yeah shes a cajun black girl and imma texas white boy. and i like lousiana. so take your shit comments elsewhere.

  • Fuck you. If you think Baton Rouge is country, you haven't been to Mississippi

  • BR is country son! I'm from Los Angeles and I use to live there and yes it is country.

  • ALl y'all should move to the D.M.V.

    Distric of Columbia

    Maryland burbs

    Virginia burbs.

  • Baton Rouge and South Louisiana is Ok to visit but I'll never live there again.

    Never!

I'll choose San Diego,Albuquerque,Phoenix, and Seattle over Baton Rouge. Any day all day!

  • Ok, so it isn't NYC or LA. Lousiana looks like a beautiful state to check out one of these days anyway!

  • ratchet city shreveport da shit

  • baton rouge????? man this ol white shit that dont look like baton rouge to me

  • BTW very nice video! I just had to defend the city I'm from....didnt mean to junk up your video! LOL

    Thanks for sharing this! :-)

  • yea i do

  • i live in jigga city u got a problem with it come see me!!!!!!!!!

  • Jigga city? what BR is called jigga city? lol! Thats comical!

whoa. You must like and enjoy Wackness!

  • I use to live in Baton Rouge but I moved back to California living in Long Beach, near L.A.

I don't miss BR its a small college town that wants to be a large city.

L.A. has alot more going for it compared to BR.

  • there is nothing like baton rouge, the red stick city

  • You're right! There is nothing like BR the red stick city where it sucks and it has no hills and mountains to enjoy along with no beach; BR is a dead place with stores closing early.

LA is an international city and yes it has its problem but LA has more variety than BR.

I'm never moving back to to BR.

  • You obviously havent been reading the news. Currently Baton Rouge is among the top metros in the nation for doing business, and one of the top growing metros in the nation. It's a lot better than it was 10 years ago, and doing A LOT better than any place in Cali. Crime has actually decreased steady (by more than 15% per year) for the past 3 years straight. Traffic is about to get a ton better, and there are more shopping centers and restaraunts than ever before...and it's still growing.

  • BR (like many other metros) doesnt have a beach, but if u want entertainment outside of BR you can go to New Orleans, Lafayette, Biloxi/Gulfport, (all within 2 hours drive) and a real nice beach is only 3.5 hours away in Alabama. I used to not like BR, now I do. About the size of the city, it's the 67th largest metro in the US out of 372...not exactly small. You (like so many others) are tainted because of the old BR. If you still lived here you'd see it's doing much better and might like it.

  • Nope! I was last there in New Years '08 and I still don't like it; I have family live out there.

I'm never moving back to BR.

The lifestyle in Cali is way better and I prefer it over South Louisiana.

  • Cali is failing horribly right now economy wise and we are not...I'd say we have the better lifestyle at the moment.

  • California's econcomy is in a recession so what?

California has the 7th largest economy in the world if it was its own nation.

    Things run in cycles.

Louisiana economy is better off right now and that is a good thing for the people of that state.

Louisiana lifestyle is boring, country and 'Bama.

I'm from the West Coast originally and its better fit for me and the weather is better.

  • Los Angeles is the 2nd largest metro in the Nation compared to BR which is 67th in size.

BR is a joke of a city.

  • Everyone else agrees? Whoa I guess over 100,000 people a year move to L.A. hmmm. So how many people move to Baton Rouge? Not many.

Many more people visit, conduct business, and move to Southern California than Louisiana. Statistics don't lie.

    Enjoy your muggy swamp environment.

  • baton rouge looks betta than new orleans,la

  • haha im naked!!! P

  • Well put some clothes on! I bet you look ugly.

  • LMAO!!! so wrong

  • Baton Rouge is such an awesome town. My parents live there and LSU games are amazing!

  • Nice video. I spent a lot of free time visiting the capitol building. I took my 2 girls there, they were 4 and 10 at the time. On our way up to the observation deck (some 20+ floors)the 4 year old asked "Daddy who keeps changing the furniture around every time the doors open". I had to laugh. Thanks for the video.

  • Ur welcome... tnx 4 d comment

  • "not much of a skyline' "

Yeah you moron because in baton rouge we have GRASS. You probably live on 500 square miles of concrete. Go LSU!!!!

  • Baton Rouge has a law that says no building is allowed to be built taller than the state capital, which is where they're filming this from. No corporations want to build if they can only have short buildings.

  • That's a myth. There is a building slated to go up that will be taller than the capital. River Place Condos...you can look it up on the net. The news did numerous reports on this years ago, but it never happened because of Katrina. :-(

  • i agree Baton Rouge doesn't have a skyline; its not a city that you can call "A City"!

    Real Talk.
