  • this horse is amazing! people you are entitled to your opinion, but please get some facts before you post it.there is always going to be that select few who are cheating and soring their horses, but most don't. why watch something if you are just going to say that it is grotesque. The tennessee walking horse has a bad rep cause of what used to happen. why don't y'all comment on other gaited breeds? im sure that they are doing everything natural though aren't they? ha whatever.

  • @ccr262 yeah and by the time he is retired he will not be able to walk without pain because of this. Yeah that horse sure has it good... not

  • @TheRammsteinluver I have been showing my same PADDED horse for 10 plus years. He loves it he knows that showtime is coming up when its thursday. He loves the hot TN sat nights and the competition. So all you horse whisperers need to be around this breed in order to pass judgement . And by the way he's 22 now and doesn't limp and he's been showing since he was 2.

  • @blackhonda828 FYI I have been arround TWH and Saddlebreds I grew up in gaited horse country so I can give my opinion on this matter quite well thank you very much. I am glad your horse is doing so well in his age but the fact of the matter is most of these beautiful horses dont get that lucky. When greed and money are involved the horse always looses it does not even take a horse wisperer to see that just a little common sense will do. Something many of the people in the TWH industry lack

  • @TheRammsteinluver Well i sure am glad you grew up around the "gaited" community. I have participated actively in the "gaited community. I am not disagreeing there are greedy people or money hungry people in the business. But for the most part the owners of these fine horses love them and guack over them. They get the finest vets and the best care money can buy. If you dont believe me find a trainers bill sometime!

  • @Lee11256 I know this is sick, of course I know that people who do this to their horses would say jumping is wrong but at least we let our horses move in their NATURAL gaits instead of soring them. This is sick

  • This should be hard to watch for anyone who knows anything about horses.

  • @vandykerp how do horses move!!!!!

  • @vandykerp how do horses move!!!!!

  • i work at the stables where nypd is housed and so many other wgc contenders are. and i can tell u these horses live like kings and queens. they are definately not tortured

  • he is lifting them WAY to high just for heeled shoes he must have been soared! ew

  • soring still takes place every day. cruel methods are used to get the "animated, exciting" gait. the poor things are in PAIN, thats why they step this way. sick ass people who do this. i wish you ALL had to endure the shoes and soring just as you force them to. TWHs are probably the most abused breed on this earth. my walker will remain barefoot, and NATURALLY gaited.

  • there is no false information about the abuse that occurs to these animals. There was over 400 horse protection act violations at the 2009 celebration. The cruelest horse show on earth.

  • If the gait is bred into them then why do they need the stacked weighted shoes? These look nothing like the flat shod TWHs with the true natural gait.

If you think soring is a rare then you are either ignorant, in denial, or just plain lying.

  • you just proved who is the ignorant one...the gait is bred into them...the plastic "stacked" shoes or pads which only weigh about 4 lbs is used to "enhance" the gait... It is not needed to be done..it's done for excitement ...and I'm not ignorant about soring..been in the business for 3 generations.. I know what happened back in the day and I know how it is now and idiots like you who spread false information are the true bane to society

  • now thats a horse i would love to ride.

  • It is obvious you are VERY ignorant of the gait, both natural and enhanced, of the Tennessee Walking Horse.

  • A typically repulsive and ignorant answer from a down south redneck. Go read a book and stop torturing your poor horses.

  • I saw him win at the Fun Show this year...man oh man, he is amazing.
