Not during competitive play but if you can learn to control the firebirds turn (delay it) and throw some "S" shots with it, you will find it a great disc to use. It is very good to use for skip shots and into the wind. You might want to try a lighter weight firebird until you can handle a heavy one.
would u suggest the firebird for someone with not such a strong backhand?
